Typing Practice

1. Open Notepad.

The image shows the Home keys and correct finger position. They are called Home keys because your fingers must return to the same keys after typing.

The second image has color and number codes for each finger. For example, your right index finger is used on all RED keys (also shown as number 1).

With your fingers over the HOME keys, type the exercise given below. Always use the correct finger position. Remember; use the Thumb of respective hands to press the SPACE BAR key for spaces.

2. Now using Left hand type the following. Keep the thumb free to press the space bar for spaces: -
