TECHNIQUE OF THE MONTH

Hello once again, my brothers and sisters in all things bass guitar! I hope that you’re well and happy, and have been practising like the serious musicians that you are while still managing to have fun and insert your own voice into your bass playing?

This month we’re going to take our fourth and final look at my song ‘Outbound’ from my 2000 album of the same name on Steve Vai’s Favored Nations label. It’s a song with a very active and challenging bass part, so this month let’s look
