The word of God reveals our identity and privileges. God’s word is overflowing with wonderful promises and blessings to us as believers. It also clearly states God’s expectations for us. For example, Math 5:13-16 says, “You are the salt of the earth... You are the light of the world-like a city on a hill top that cannot be hidden... Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven”.
We are salt and we are light. God expects us to live like who we truly are, this is why He tells us to shine our light to the world.
If we honestly evaluate our lives as believers with the word of God, we will see that we are poles apart in comparison. We are far-fetch from being who God says we are. We are living far below the blessings God intended for us to have.

The first step towards solving a problem is to identify the cause of it. Therefore, this book was written to expose the reasons believers are wallowing in lack in the midst of limitless abundance; thirsty, when there is enough for all to drink; sick, when healing has been made available and defeated when they have authority and power at their disposal.
This book doesn’t just expose the reasons for the sufferings of believers, but also, proffer solutions to these problems.

CHAPTER 1

INADEQUATE KNOWLEDGE

Ignorance or insufficient knowledge about something will result in some kind of suffering. Knowledge gives power and control.

One remarkable quality of successful individuals is that they love knowledge and are always in the process of seeking it. They are willing to pay whatever it takes to acquire information.

The quality of your life right now is directly proportional to the amount of knowledge you possess and function by. Your knowledge level will affect every single aspect of your life. You are not better than what you know. Your effectiveness in handling the demands of life stops where your knowledge stops.

THE KNOWLEDGE FIGHT

In Ephesians 6: 11-17, the Bible tells us that we are in a battle against the devil and also supplies the weapons with which we need to fight. One of these weapons is knowledge.

"Put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to stand against the Wiles of the devil.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places …"

The scripture used this body analogy of a fully dressed soldier to show to us how we need to be properly dressed for this fight and also to make us understand the importance of every piece of this armour.

Our victory in this battle lies in our putting on this armour that God has given to us. We not only need to put on this armour we must put on the WHOLE part without living out any one of them.

Imagine a soldier who is half dressed for war. Just imagine that he doesn't have a sword, he doesn't have a helmet on or the body shield on. Such a soldier will be seriously wounded and defeated. Every piece of this armour is very important and we must put them on in order to have total victory.

Judging by their attitude towards God's word, a lot of believers are not taking seriously this fight that they are in with the devil. Some are too
