Introduction
Teenage is the most crucial period, as teens deal with so many new physical and mental changes during this period. Teenage is a fundamental stage of life that each human being passes through. It is the best phase of one’s life and very critical too. With the raging hormones on one side urging the teens to incline in various activities, there are a number of physical changes on the other hand, due to which they hide into the shell. Some people face this period of their life strongly and positively, while others succumb to many problems and difficulties. This depends on the environment these young adults live in, their parents and living conditions, their friends, education, and many other factors. As a parent, instead of constantly worrying about your child, it is better to let him/her explore the wonders of teenage life. The best a parent can do is become a friend to your child, which will help him/her to disclose to you about everything happening in their life.
Problems of Teens
A teenager’s life is not as simple as many think. The changes each adolescent goes through are enormous. Many people believe the change is only physical, which is completely untrue. The greatest change teenager faces are psychological. In the present, teenagers spend most of their day on social media, posting photos of what they are doing or eating, etc. Social media seems to run today's society; thus, it takes most of their time and attention.
Teenagers have many problems. Most common problems of teenage boys or girls are linked to appearance, education, peer pressure, self-esteem, food, health, relationships at home and school, passions and interests, clothing, mobile phone, internet service, and so on. One of the biggest challenges they face is intense pressure from parents in the form of their expectations. They are neither considered a child nor an adult at this phase, so they feel completely isolated. Due to tremendous physical and mental changes during this period, the teens are more prone to various distractions such as social media, attraction to opposite genders, and excitement in the body due to hormonal change.
Teenagers sometimes become addicted to drugs and alcohol, being influenced negatively by their peers. Negative peer pressure influences a person to do the wrong or something the person doesn’t want to do. This may be stealing, taking drugs, or other dangerous actions. Teenagers usually feel peer pressure when they feel unpopular with their friends or want to
