      Weight of the world pulling you south

      Thoughts endlessly running through your mind

      A solution is no where insight impossible to find

      Struggling within oneself to find an answer

      But its all eating away at you like a cancer

      Doubt, envy, depression, desire, worry, sorrow

      Searching, wanting, needing, praying just to make it to tomorrow

      Anger misplaced

      If only it could be erased

      Said some things you didn’t really mean

      Apology accepted will wipe the slate clean

      No! words have life and have already been spoken

      Its impossible to fix something once its been broken

      Showing unbiased love is not an easy task

      The key to knowing how is to ask

      Writing these lines lifts my spirit up

      Jesus inspires the words that overflow from this cup

      Crucifixion

      Son of God became son of man

      To fertilize and rejuvenate a barren land

      Born to a virgin named Mary

      I could only imagine it must’ve been scary

      For a boy who became a man

      To surrender his will to God’s
