About this ebook

There are 5 principles which Islam is based off of that establishes all the rule and regulations, perimeters, boundaries and daily movements. Every pillar goes back to these principles and because of these principles we establish laws. Shari’ah is the legal systems in which Islam is implamented. Shari'ah was designed to protect these 5 principles, which are Rights of every Human Being. To preserve the Religion, the Self/ Soul, the Mind, the Family/Offspring, and the Wealth/ Money are those Principles. In this book I elaborate on each topic using proofs and evidence from the Old Testament, New Testament, Hadith, and Quran. It is my sole intention to remind us all of a day that is spoken about with great emphasis in all of these scriptures, which is the Day of Resurrection. In the first Book “Until the Sun Rises from the West- The Islamic perspective” I intended to call humanity to know that Islam is not new. It is the same Religion brought by all the Prophets. For this reason I wanted to describe the 5 Pillars of Islam from the biblical perspective. However, In the piece of work “Until the Sun Rises from the West- Why not Islam” I wanted to elaborate on the reason why Islam is right for all of humanity through it’s practical implementation. I intend to finish this Trilogy with a manuscript describing The Day of Resurrection for those who took heed of the warning signs God sent us through his Prophets and Holy Scriptures vs. those who ignored them out of neglect, procrastination, or pure disbelief. The Sun will rise from the west on the Day of Resurrection, A day we must all face.

Being born in an Islamic household has taught me some basic fundamentals of justice and equality, gratitude and mercy, and giving everything its proper rights. Unfortunately over the years I have noticed the need for these qualities in the world. All of us have mixed families with different races, religions, cultures, etc. For this reason we are all involved in the evolutionary progress and the success of humanity. The Qur’an was sealed with the death of our beloved prophet and the Sunnah was compiled but there is still a Book that we are all in. In The Book of Decree are you a hero? Are you righteous or wretched? Are you an extension of the Messenger’s God sent or are you one who they were fighting against? I am searching for the Kingdom of God with genuine and honest ambition. In my research I have found the Truth which if put on a scale holds all the weight in gold. In this torrential emotional roller coaster called life during Covid we must all must put our hands up to the Lord of the world and beg for his help. There is only one God, who sent Books and Messengers to all of humanity and we only differed after knowledge has come to us. We must peel back the layers of innovation and get down to the crust of piety to resolve this deep depression.

All thanks and praise is due to Allah. We seek His help and forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evil within ourselves and the consequences of our evil deeds. Whoever Allah guides will never be led astray, and whoever Allah leads astray will never find guidance. I bear witness there is no God but Allah, alone without any partners, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and His Messenger.

Allah Almighty said, O you who have faith, fear Allah as it is His right to be feared and do not die except as Muslims (3:102)

And Allah Almighty said, O people, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. Fear Allah, through whom you ask one another and maintain family ties. Verily, Allah is ever watching over you. (4:1)

And Allah Almighty said, O you who have faith, fear Allah and speak upright words. He will correct your deeds and forgive your sins. Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has won a tremendous victory. (33:70-71)

Verily, the most truthful speech is the Book of Allah, the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and the worst of affairs are newly invented matters. Every newly invented matter is a religious innovation, and every religious innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Hellfire.

    14. They did not split into sects out of mutual envy until knowledge came to them. Had it not been for a prior decree from your Lord for an appointed term, the matter would have certainly been settled between them at once. And surely those who were made to inherit the Scripture after them are truly in alarming doubt about this Qur’an.

    image%203.png

    15. Because of that, you, O Prophet, will invite all. Be steadfast as you are commanded, and do not follow their desires. And say, I believe in every Scripture Allah has revealed. And I am commanded to judge fairly among you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. We will be accountable for our deeds and you for yours. There is no need for contention between us. Allah will gather us together for judgment. And to Him is the final return.

    image%204.png

    16. As for those who dispute about Allah after He is already acknowledged by many, their argument is futile in the sight of their Lord. Upon them is wrath, and they will suffer a severe punishment.

    image%205.png

    17. It is Allah Who has revealed the Book with the truth and the balance of justice. You never know, perhaps the Hour is near.

Narrated by Abdullah: Allah’s Apostle (Peace and blessings be upon him) said, The key of the Unseen are five: Verily with Allah (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour. He sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware. (31:34)

Matthew 24:36 KJV But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Mark 13:32 ESV "But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Matthew 25:13 ESV Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

2 Peter 3:10 ESV But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

Of course, in Islam we separate Allah (highly exalted is he above what they associate with him), who these Isrealite sources refer to as The Father, from all things created. So we must examine the wording in the statement nor the son, but only the Father.

Allah said in Surah 4 An Nisa 171 O people of the Scripture (Christians)! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allaah aught but the truth. The Messiah ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), was (no more than) a Messenger of Allaah and His Word, (‘Be!’ — and he was) which He bestowed on Maryam (Mary) and a spirit (Rooh) created by Him; so believe in Allah and His Messengers. Say not: ‘Three (trinity)!’ Cease! (it is) better for you. For Allah is (the only) One Ilaah (God), glory is to Him (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is All-Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs.

Allah said in Surah 5 Al Ma’idah 75 The Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddeeqah [i.e. she believed in the Words of Allaah and His Books]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them; yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).

It was narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Whoever bears witness that there is no God except Allah alone, with no partner or associate, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger and that ‘Eesa (Jesus) is His slave and Messenger, and His Word which He bestowed upon Maryam and a spirit created by Him, and that Paradise is real and Hell is real, Allah will admit him to Paradise (and grant him a position therein) according to his deeds.

    Fath al-Baari, hadith no. 3435.

    How do I become Muslim?

    Say:

    "Ash-hadu anla elaha illa-ALLAH.

    Wa Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan rasulla-ALLAH".

"I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.

And I bear witness that Muhammad is The

last and final Messenger of Allah."

Islam means total submission to the will of God. This is the reasons we say all the prophets were Muslim. God gave them instructions and they submitted, so if we submit we will be muslims. This leaves us to ask what is God’s will?

Allah said in Surah 3 Ali Imran 85 No religion other than Islam (submission to the will of God) will be accepted from anyone. Whoever follows a religion other than Islam will be lost on the Day of Judgment.

Shari’ah (Islamic Law) was made to protect five things (Religion, Self/Soul, Mind, Offspring, and Money/Property), which are the main rights of any human being. Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali has stated that The Shari’ah purposes of the creation are five: to preserve their religion, their souls, their mind, their offspring and their money. In linguistic terms, Shari’ah refers to a water source, which is the source to which people who want to drink come and they drink from it and fill their buckets, and perhaps bring their animals to drink from it as well. The actual definition of shari’ah is path, historically the path to the water well. In the context of Islamic law and ethics, shari’ah is the totality of Islamic legal and ethical norms, in a sense the path that Muslims take to live according to God’s will. The Arabs do not call a water source shari’ah unless the water is flowing without interruption, and is visible. In shar‘i terminology, Shari’ah refers to the entire religion (Islam-meaning the total submission to God) which dictates our daily movement, which explains commands and prohibitions, halaal and haraam.

When those who have an illness in their heart and wish to alway paint Islam in a negative light use the word Shari’ah they mean Terrorism, Bombing, Killing, and basically any type of oppression, but the reality is Islam is against all of that.

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or is oppressed. A man enquired: O Messenger of Allah! I help him when he is oppressed, but how can I help him when he is an oppressor? He (ﷺ) said, You can keep him from committing oppression. That will be your help to him.

    Al-Bukhari 624

Narrated Abu Shuraih: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! It was said, Who is that, O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)? He said, That person whose neighbor does not feel safe from his evil.

    Sahih al Bukhari 6016

Allah said in Surah 5 Al-Ma’idah 32 in reference to killing anyone unjustly: Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allah by committing the major sins) in the land!.

Shari’ah is simply the path on which Allah establishes this way of life for All of the Prophets to instruct humanity on how to behave.

Allah said in Surah 45 Jathiyah 18 Then We put you, [O Muhammad], on an ordained way concerning the matter [of religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know.

Whoever goes against the Shari’ah (laws) of Allah has exposed himself to divine vengeance, wrath and punishment both in this life and the hereafter. These essentials are indispensable in the interests of the religion and the world, so if they are lost so are the interests of the world. The world would be full of corruption and all human destiny in the afterlife to manifest loss.

    The Good Life

We are living in the time of a pandemic and the nature of a pandemic is death, sickness, mass hysteria and social imbalance. In light of this pandemic we all are in a state of fear, a state in which we are afraid of dying and losing our loved ones so we go through different mechanisms to protect our physical bodies by wearing the mask and staying a distances away from one another which again causes unrest and imbalance of the natural course. However, we must also protect our mind and spirit. Allah has told us about this all throughout the Quran and Hadith. For way too long we have read these verses in the Quran and those narrations but not pondering over them. Now we have the aynal-Yakeen (the eye of certainty).

Allah said in Surah 2:155 And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).

Walanabluwannakum bishayin mina alkhawfi waaljooAAi wanaqsin mina alamwali waalanfusi waalththamarati wabashshiri alssabireena

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him.

Through being obedient to Allah and doing what Allah instructed, Ibrahim reached the title of KhalilAllah -close friend of Allah!

Allah said in Surah 4 An Nisa 125. And who is better in faith than those who (fully) submit themselves to Allah, do good, and follow the Way of Abraham, the upright? Allah chose Abraham as a close friend.

So we too can become Awliyaa of Allah by doing what Allah and his messenger told us is Wajibat and increase our nearness to Allah (Tawakal) with the Nawafillah.

Allah said in Surah 10 Yunus 62. There will certainly be no fear for the close servants of Allah, nor will they grieve. 63. ˹They are˺ those who are faithful and are mindful ˹of Him˺. 64. For them is good news in this worldly life and the Hereafter. There is no change in the promise of Allah. That is ˹truly˺ the ultimate triumph.

The majority of scholars of usool are of the view that fard and waajib are synonymous. Fard, or waajib, is that which the Lawgiver enjoined by way of obligation, meaning that the one who does it is deserving of reward and the one who fails to do it is deserving of punishment. It is the same whether the obligation is proven on the basis of definitive or ambiguous evidence. There is no difference between them in terms of the ruling or the reward.

However, the Hanafis differentiate between fard and waajib. In their view, fard is that which is proven on the basis of definitive evidence and waajib is that which is proven on the basis of ambiguous evidence.

Examples include the five daily prayers, fasting Ramadan, zakaah for those who are obliged to give it, and Hajj to the Sacred House for those who have the means of doing so.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, "When Allah loves a slave, calls out Jibril
