About this ebook

Forgetfulness is one of the Maladies of Lucifer. When he was priest of angels, he forgot to pray to God to protect him from deviating from the straight path. It is written in the Laws of God: Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and Lucifer was most afraid of Adam in his clay form.

When finally God commanded the angels Let each one that holds Me for his Lord straightway do reverence to this earth many that loves God bowed themselves but Lucifer with them that were of his mind disobeyed. They said: O Lord, we are spirit and therefore it is not just that we should do reverence to this clay.

That was the day Lucifer fell from grace to grass. If he had remembered that he had just failed in his trial, he should have long stopped blaming his fall on the just judgment of God and repent. Again, he forgot he had no wings, and was not created with light like the angels, and yet was elevated and made Priest among angels. Who is he then, to question God what He should and should not do? I wonder.

Lucifer boasted that he would give God trouble on Judgement Day. O poor Lucifer! He has again forgotten that God has no need: It is man and Jinn that have need. If God wills, He could blot out present creation for another creation. Lucifer is indeed a confused man-Iblis.

    ABRIDGEMENT

I seek refuge with Allah, the Most Exalted from Satan the outcast: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

O Allah, I beseech thee to help us against the accursed Lucifer and his evils and his mischiefs; his children and their evils and their mischiefs; his companions and their children, and their evils and their mischiefs; his forces and their children, and their evils and their mischiefs; his followers among mankind and Jinns, including their children and their evils, and their mischiefs; the evils and mischiefs of this generation and future generations. O Allah, help us against all the demons wherever they may be and their evils: help us against all the mischief makers wherever they may be and their evils; help us against all the enemies of Allah, the Most Exalted, and their evils and their mischiefs, and all the enemies of His righteous servants among mankind and Jinns the world-over; help us against the evils at the time of death; and against the evils of the grave and beyond the grave and help not against us: Scheme for us, O Allah, and scheme not against us, grant us victory over all of them in every encounter, and in every circumstance, and grant not victory over us, even as small as a particle dust, grant it not over us.

O Allah, strengthen, guide and guard us with sound knowledge and wisdom, sound overwhelming physical and spiritual powers to repel all the assault, influence and tricks of Lucifer and his agents, bless us with sound heart, sound mind, sound body and sound health to carry the flag of Islam and Righteousness to victory unimpeded, in ways and manners that will be most pleasing to Thee and acceptable to Thee in the Highest: And in the ways and manners that will accelerate our access to the highest and most honoured building in Janat Firdaus unexamined – Ameen.

    SYNOPSIS

This book serves as a reminder to both the human race and the Jinn race, in general, and Lucifer in particular, that as the Almighty God sent prophets and messengers to the human race to remind them of His Laws which they might have forgotten, the same was done to the Jinn race, and Lucifer is of the Jinn race. In the Laws of God, it is written thus: Be sure we shall test you with something of fear, and hunger, some loss in goods, lives and the fruits (of your toil)… (Q.2:156). This is to ascertain one’s sincerity in his faith in the Almighty God. A Haddith relates about the creation of Adam thus: "One day, the angels went past the figure of clay and were seized with fear by what they saw and the Iblis (i.e. Lucifer) who the Almighty God elevated to the rank of angels, was most afraid (Ibn Masud).

From the behaviour Lucifer exhibited that led to his fall, he forgot this Divine Law of trial, for Jesus Christ, son of Mary says: …One day when all the angels were assembled, God said: Let each one that holds Me for his Lord straightway do reverence to this earth. ‘Many that loved God bowed themselves, but Satan (i.e. Lucifer) with them that were of his mind, said: O Lord, we are spirit, and therefore it is not just that we should do reverence to this clay. Having said this, Satan (Lucifer) became horrid and of fearsome look, and his followers became hideous; because for their rebellion God took away from them the beauty wherewith He had favoured them in creating them. Whereat the holy angels, when lifting their heads, they saw how terrible a monster Satan (Lucifer) had become, and his followers cast down their face to earth in fear (GB. Ch. 35).

They brought upon themselves the wrath of God Almighty because of their rebelliousness occasioned by their chronic forgetfulness, compounded by jealousy, bigotry and arrogance motivated by pride which are among the maladies of Lucifer. If Lucifer had known, that he had just failed in his trial, he should have long stopped blaming his fall on the just judgement of the Almighty God; and repent and make amend; again, if he had known, he should have long stopped taking more than a pound of flesh from humankind as a result of his fall occasioned by his obvious failure in his Divine trial.

Lucifer should also remember, that it is written in the Laws of the Almighty God that if a person, who was righteous, cross to evil ways, God said: I will never remember he was once righteous, and conversely. Lucifer should therefore stop fooling himself: he has no wings and was not created with light and yet he was elevated by the Almighty God to the rank of the angels. Who is he then, to question God what He should and should not do? I wonder!

Those who rely on corrupted scriptures orchestrated by Lucifer, in their ostensive quest for the salvation of the Almighty God, after the clear Guidance that God had already sent down, are the ones who lose, God has nothing to lose by their rebellion or disobedience. Those who reject Faith, and die rejecting, on them is the Almighty God’s curse, and the curse of angels and of all mankind (Q.2:159-161).

Therefore, know that God is one God: there is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful (Q.2:163). O Christians! Come to common terms as between Islam and you: That we worship none but the Almighty God alone: That we associate no partners with Him: That we erect not, from among ourselves Lords and patrons other than the Almighty God. (Q.3:64).

Lucifer boasted to Jesus Christ, son of Mary, that he and his followers would give the Almighty God trouble on the Judgement Day! O poor Lucifer, he has forgotten that it is written in the Laws of God that it is man and Jinn etc. that have need and the Almighty God is free of all wants, worthy of Praise. If the Almighty God so pleased, He could blot out all present creation and bring in a new creation. This means that both the human race and Jinn race including Lucifer and his adherents could be blotted out if the Almighty God so pleased, and bring in a new creation. Lucifer is indeed a confused man- Iblis, for him to have conceived the possibility of giving the Almighty God trouble on the Judgement Day.

Faith was what was covenanted with the Almighty God by all creatures before Heavens and Earth were created. A Haddith relates that: "Allah assembled all creatures that will come to being until the Day of Judgement. He created them from their loins, then made them to speak and made a covenant with Him thus:

1.God said: Am I not your Lord?

2.They all answered: Yes! You are our only Lord and God.

3.God Said: I will make Seven (7) Heavens and Seven (7) Earth, as well as your father Adam to bear witness against you in order not to claim on the Day of Resurrection that you have no knowledge concerning this.

4.God said: "You should know that there is no deity, worthy of worship other than Me, no Lord but Me, so never you associate anything with Me as an object of Worship.

5.Because of the seriousness of this covenant, God said: I will send you messengers to warn you on (this) my covenant, and will reveal to you My Book.

6.They all said: "We bear witness that you are our Lord and God. There is no Lord for us other than you, and no god for us other than you. This is our (Oath of) allegiance we pledge with thee, O! Our Lord, God. (Q.7:102).

7.This is what is called Laillaha Illallah by the Muslims (meaning None is Worthy of Worship besides Allah). The covenant is not recorded any where in the Old and New Testaments, and thus expose their followers to the easy assault of Lucifer to the extent that some Christians now end their prayers by saying: Thank you Jesus; Jesus has done it; Jesus is Lord.

Jesus said: I am not God, and I am not son of God. When God shall come to Judge, my word will pierce the heart of any one who believe me to be more than man (GB. Ch. 93)

    DEDICATION

When the Death of Ahmad Hoosen Deedat was announced on a Friday at the National Mosque, Abuja during the 2nd half of 2005, I grieved beyond measure. My intense grief was not because of his death alone, but also because the Muslims the world –over have lost an Islamic Icon. Ahmad Hoosen Deedat was a man without any formal theological training that rose to become the world renowned figure in comparative religion. He was a shrewd analytical orator of no mean stature, and author of many Islamic pamphlets and video tapes on comparative religion.

Through out his Jihad, he was able to eloquently out-matched Christian Doctors in theology at every debate across the glob: He grabbed his opponents like the eight armed Octopus, and shook them down their roots with irrefutable facts from uncontaminated scriptures, the Holy Quran and the Haddith of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBH).

May the Almighty God admit him into the highest and most honoured building in Janat Firdaus unexamined; and may He reward his family and those who worked with him and their families with the best of this world, and with Allah’s love and pleasure in Paradise – Ameen.

    IMPORTANT NOTA

Barnabas was the secretary and one of the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ, son of Mary. He was the one Jesus Christ addressed on the issue of Judas Iscariot thus: Be not sore grieved, Barnabas, for those whom God hath chosen before the creation of the world shall not perish. Rejoice for thy name is written in the Book of life (GB. Ch.19).

The significance here is that all men are not chosen in this manner: Only the prophets and sages of God who trust and dearly love God, that are so chosen.

Again, he was the one Jesus commanded thus: See Barnabas, that by all means thou write my gospel concerning all that hath happened through my dwelling in the world. And write in like manner that which hath befallen Judas, in order that the faithful may be undeceived and every one may believe the truth (GB. Ch. 221).

    PREFACE:

The event that is inevitable is the hour of judgement: popularly know as the Day of Resurrection. That is the Day Allah the Most High will separate the evil doers from those who are righteous¹. Before that Day, i.e during our life time, conditions are bound to change and events are bound to occur that would test our faith, endurance and devotion to the cause of Allah. There are doubters whether the hour will ever come. Allah never fails in His promise. When the hour comes, as surely, it will come suddenly, with a tremendous reality, it will burn deep into the experience of every soul. That Day, no one can then be deceived or entertain false notion about it. As mentioned already, on that Day, there will be a sorting out of Good and Evil.

Those who did righteous deeds in this worldly life shall be classified into two (2) categories; and the third category shall be those who worked evil in this present worldly life.

    Category ‘A’

Category ‘A’ shall be for those who have reached the highest degree in spiritual understanding, such as the great prophets and teachers of mankind. All those who are foremost in faith, will be foremost in the Hereafter². These are the ones Allah promised to seat on couches encrusted, reclining on them, facing each other on the Day of Judgement. A great percentage of this class, shall be from those of old, and a few from those of later times. Enjoyment for them that Day is imaginable. However, the holy Qur’an tells us, that while they seat on the encrusted couches, reclining on them facing each other, round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness), with goblets (shining) beakers and cups (filled) out of clear flowing fountains. The service and its freshness will be perpetual, and shall not be subject to any moods, or chances, or changes. The feast of season and the flow of soul are typified by all that is best in the feasts in this imperfect world that can result to aches, excess, a sense of exhaustion or loss of sense.

The feast of the Hereafter for those in category ‘A’ shall be far greater than any that has ever been known in human experience, but yet, there will be no after-ache or intoxication³. They will be presented with fruits from which to select and flesh of fows that they may desire. All around them will be companions with beautiful, big and lustrous eyes, like well-guarded pearls as a reward for the Deeds of their past life⁴. On that day, they will not hear anything that will upset them. All they will hear, will be the saying of Peace! Peace!! by the angels⁵. These are the ones nearest to Allah.

    Category ‘B’

Those in this category are the ones classified as on the Right hand (of Allah). These are the ones who are of lesser degree compared to those nearest to Allah. They are the ones Allah, the Most High promised to be located in beautiful garden populated by lote-trees without thorns and other trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another in long and extended shade, with water flowing constantly and fruits in abundance whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden. This means it shall not be like earthly fruits which season is limited or often affected by the prohibition by law or custom or circumstances as to when or how it is to be consumed.

They shall be on couches raised high and surrounded by pure virgin created of special creation, full of love and equal in age⁶. A good percentage of those of this class shall come from among those of old, and a good percentage will come from those of later generation. This of course include our generation.

    Category ‘C’

Those in this category, are classified as those on the left hand (of Allah). These are the followers of Lucifer, and are the ones to be in the midst of fierce blast of fire and in boiling waters. Black smoke will form a shade over them which shall be neither cool or refreshing. This is because they lived unrepentant life in sinful luxury and they persisted obstinately in wickedness and doubted the Day of Judgement.

On the Day of Judgement, they shall be made to eat from the tree called Zaqqum. This is a bitter and pungent tree described as growing at the bottom of Hell, a type of all that is disagreeable. Such shall be the entertainment of those who lived unrighteous life without repentance and amendment before they died⁷. These adherent class of sinners, shall have a grievous punishment. Whether the holy prophet (PBH) ask for their forgiveness or not, they shall not be forgiven. The Holy Qur’an tells that even if the holy prophet (PBH) ask seventy times for their forgiveness, Allah will not forgive them. Because they have rejected Allah and His messenger and Allah guideth not those who are perversely rebellious⁸.

The righteous should therefore not let the wealth of the wicked and of those who unrepentantly oppose the cause of Allah dazzle them, for Allah wishes to test them with these things in this world⁹.

It is the command of Allah that to be a faithful believer, we must worship Him alone without partners associated with Him, and to be dutiful to parents. As Allah says in the Holy Qur’an: "Give thanks to Me and to your parents. Unto Me is the final destination¹⁰. A Hadith says: "He is doomed, he is doomed, he is doomed, the man whose parents, one or both of them reach old age while he is
