Ahmed Shendy Yousef

Ahmed Shendy Yousef was born in Cairo, Egypt, and he graduated from Physical Therapy School at the School of Medicine of Cairo University in 1977. In 1982, Yousef came to the United States, and he now lives in Macon, Georgia with his wife Mabrouka. Together they have three children: Yassmin, Enas, and Yaser. Yousef has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1986, and he established the Islamic Center of Middle Georgia in 1989, where he served for sixteen years as an elected president and the religious advisor. Yousef has been active in promoting the understanding of Islam in America, writing articles for local newspapers and giving talks for local television, universities, and churches. In his on going effort to narrow the gaps between the three major divine religions; Judaism, Christianity and Islam, for the purpose of better understanding, tolerance and cooperation among all members of these three monotheistic religions to overcome the serious falling of our world morally and economically. God said: He (God) has ordained for you the religion which He (God) commanded to Noah, and that We (God) have revealed to you (Mohammed), and that We which (God) commanded to Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus: ‘Establish the religion, and be not divided therein’. Quran said: "Say, He is God, The One and Only . . ." 112:1.

God said: "From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a Covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message . . ." Holy Quran 05:14.

Bible said: There is no one beside You, Nor is there any rock like our God I Samuel 2:2.

And if God had pleased. He would surely have made them a single nation, but He admits to His Mercy whoever He pleases, and the evildoers shall have neither guardian nor helper (Quran (42):8.

And We sent following in their footsteps. Jesus the son of Mary, confirming what was before him of the Torah, and We gave him the Gospel in which was guidance and light, and confirming what was before it of the Torah, and a guidance and an admonition for the pious(46), So let the people of the Gospel rule according to what GOD has revealed in it, whoever does not judge according to what GOD has revealed, those are the deviations(47). Those who believe in the Quran, those who follow the Jewish scriptures, and the Sabians and the Christians, any who believe in God and the Last Day and work righteousness, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve Holy Quran, Al Maidah, 5:69

Avoid the seven deadly acts which are: ascribing partners to God, magic, killing the human self which God prohibited except with right, eating usury, devouring the orphan’s wealth, defecting from the battle-field (without a justified reason) and slandering chaste, unwary believing women. Said by Mohammed the prophet of Islam.

I am not sure on how many more thousands of victims must lose their lives before our authorities began to consider revising their slogan, from ‘Criminals must live and Innocents must die’ to become ‘Criminals must die and innocents must live’? Ahmed Yousef.

"Not all of them (Jews and Christians) are alike: Of the People of the Book are a portion that stands for the right; they rehearse the signs of Allah (God) all night long, and they prostrate themselves in adoration. They believe in Allah and the Last Day; They enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten in emulation in all good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous". Holy Quran (Al Imran (Chapter 3, verse 113 and 114)

And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury): but say, We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our God and your God is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam)." Holy Quran (Al-Ankaboot, Chapter #29, Verse #46)

"So set thou thy face steadily and truly to the Faith: (establish) God’s handiwork according to the pattern on which He has made mankind: no change (let there be) in the work (wrought) by God. That is the standard Religion: but most among mankind understand not. Turn ye back in repentance to Him, and fear Him: establish regular prayers, and be not ye among those who join other gods with God. Those who split up their Religion, and become (mere) Sects,—each party rejoicing in that which is with itself! Holy Quran(Al-Room, Chapter #30, Verse #30-32)

Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens, nor the Son (Jesus), but the Father (God). For Just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be. (51) Then when ‘Îsa (Jesus) came to know of their infidel believes, he said: Who will be my helpers in Allah’s (God) Cause? Al-Hawariyyun (the disciples) said: We are the helpers of Allah; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allah). (Holy Quran, Chapter #3, Verse #52)

They ask you (Mohammad) about the hour (Day of Resurrection): When will be its appointed time? Say: the knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden. they ask you as if you have a good knowledge of it. Say: the knowledge thereof is with God (Alone), but most of mankind knows not." (Holy Quran, Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #187)

"Say (O Mohammad); ‘O mankind! Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of God—to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. None has the right to be worshipped but He(God); it is He(God) who gives life and causes death. So believe in God and His Messenger, the Prophet (Mohammad) who can neither read nor write, who believes in God and His words, and follow him so that you may be guided" Holy Quran, Al Araaf 7:158.

"And strive hard in God’s Cause as you ought to strive (with sincerity and with all your efforts that His Name should be superior). He has chosen you, and has not laid upon you in religion any hardship: it is the religion of your father Ibrahim (Abraham). It is He (God) Who has named you Muslims both before and in this (the Qur’an), that the Messenger (Mohammed) may be a witness over you and you be witnesses over mankind! So perform your prayers, give charity and hold fast to God [i.e. have confidence in God, and depend upon Him in all your affairs]. He is your Patron Lord, what an Excellent Patron Lord and what an Excellent Helper! (Al-Hajj, Chapter #22, Verse #78).

Introduction

Is there any indication that the end will come soon?

In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power.—2 Timothy 3:1-5.

The Ten Commandments accepted by Jews and it has never been rejected by Christians, and majorly implemented by Muslims, which makes the Ten Commandments the corner stone of unity among the three major religions. The greatest responsibility of today religion scholars is to melt the ice, bringing and strengthening the commonality of the three major divine religions.

It was very early in my life when I believed that there should not be a major difference between Judaism, Christianity and Islam, because the three were recognized as the divine messages, provided by three significant Messengers, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed, who were cousins and belonged to one great grandfather the prophet Abraham. Abraham had Isaac, the great grandfather of Moses and Jesus, and Ishmael the great grandfather of Mohammed. This thought encouraged me to buy my first bible, and I began to read. The more I read, the more I am pursued by the over whelming evidence of similarities which stands as proof of unity between Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Through this book I am calling the three nations to take their serious responsibility and use the authentic divine guidance to save our world.

The world morality is declining to its lowest level, because the three nations Jews, Christians and Muslims are not in proper contact with the messages of God. The interpretations of the Old and New Testaments both have been seriously altered and are no longer presenting the true messages of the divine. ‘Many of these divine original messages did not survive and what we have today is a bible that been written with different people that we are not sure who they are and what was their motives to do so’ (Karen Armstrong/The Bible). ‘The idea of written bible began approximately 300 years after the departure of the Christ’ (Paul Johnson/A history of Christianity). The results of their works were, God is not worshipped as He should be worshipped and He, the almighty, became not known as He wants it to be known. The Quran can be considered by Muslims and others as God’s attempts to unify Christianity and Judaism. However, the over whelming passages reflecting similarity between the Bible and the Quran were not acknowledged by many. Ironically, those that were impressed by the Quran, often dismissed it’s divine origin and stated that it was a book that was written by prophet Mohammed, ignoring the fact that Mohammed was illiterate!

When many of these original divine messages were lost within a 600 year period, they were renewed and revealed once again by God through Mohammed, a decedent of Abraham (peace be upon them both). Insistently, Jews and Christians still rejecting the Quran as justified and divine messages from God. Muslims consider the Quran to be divine guidance through holy messages in its updated version called; The Last Testament or The Holy Quran. Nevertheless, mostly among Christians, are individuals those occasionally mocking the Islam and its messenger? Not only that but it appears through social media and other means of social communication they have targeted the holy Quran. In fact, it appears to many Muslims that members of other faiths and even members (usually extremists) within Islam have united over one common goal-to misperceive and detract from the peaceful and unifying messages of holy Quran The Last Testament.

Population segments of Judaism and Christianity, through history, were making threats that they will burn the Quran, and they had done so many times whenever they conquest the Muslims homes. Even though, most recently, while I am writing this book, similar threat was done by Pastor Terry Jones from Gainesville Florida, when he spoke to the world that he will burn the Quran on September 11, 2010. He even invited the Christians all over the globe to share with him the same act. The only reason, the Quran was not burn this time is because Mr. Barack Obama, the president of United States, called him in person and asked him not to do such thing.

God and his followers thanked devoted Jews and Christians who objected the wrong doings being committed to God’s words. These oppositions against hate crimes are truly appreciated by Muslims and are seen as Islamic actions, which is why Muslims refer to devoted Jews and Christians as fellow brothers and sisters in Islam… or devoted Muslims. When I said devoted Muslims it was not a printing mistake; it is a true believe of every Muslim according to the Holy Quran, that every individual who believes in the oneness of God, conducting peacefully, and rectifying justice is considered Muslim. The devoted Jews and Christians are Muslims. The Jews and Christians are Muslims from the beginning of their existence as the owners of holy books and the vicegerents of God on His earth. The Jews and Christians pledged before God that they are ‘Muslims’, Then will God say: O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favor to you and to your mother. Behold! I strengthened you with the Holy Spirit, so that you did speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught you the book and wisdom, The Law and the Gospel. And behold! You made out of clay! When you, as it were, the figure of bird, by My leave. And you breathed into it and it becomes a bird by My leave. And you heal those born blind and the lepers by My leave. And behold! You bring forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from violence to you when you did show them the clear signs. And the unbelievers among them said: This is nothing but evident magic. And behold! I (God) inspired the Disciples to have faith in Me and Mine Messenger: They(followers of Jesus) said; We have faith and do (God) bear witness that we bow to God as Muslims. Holy Quran (5):110:111.

Jews and Christians, along with all of whom believing in the oneness of God, as the creator of our universe are following the religion of their first father ‘Adam’ peace be upon him, who is considered to be the first messenger of Islam ever brought to this earth.

When you understand that Islam is the Arabic word for peace and submission to God’s will, then it becomes easy to see Muslims as followers of peace and ones submitting themselves to the will of God. Any Jew, Christian, or else who committed to support peace and surrender to the will of God is following the path of Islam.

The only reason that Islam appears so strange to the majority of Jews and Christians fellows, is the stretching wide gap between the authenticity of Islam and the present beliefs of Jews and Christians. This gap is very vividly being driven by politicians using the media to brain wash, extreme terrorists, miswritten holy texts, misinterpretations, and fear.

In the past, wrong teaching was designed to keep the race between Jews and Christians, competing in attempt to win one another. Right from the beginning, Jews believed that Christians must be a part of Judaism. It was until Paul worked on separating Christianity to become independent from Judaism that the divide occurred. The competition between the Jews and Christian’s authorities was practiced by any means to overpower each other. As a result, the honesty was disregarded in the process and their responsibility toward maintaining the authenticity of God’s words was severed. The end result was the loss of the original messages of the Torah and the Gospel by adding in and taking out biblical verses to suit their immediate goals. God did make us aware about the serious corruption affected both Judaism and Christianity only so one can destroy the other. Jews and Christians in their ring of wrestling destroyed their Islam (Peace), the authentic messages they received throughout the biblical passages? The Religion before God Is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) Dissent there from except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them Holy Quran (3):19.

Many of them (Jews and Christians) used to listen to the word of God, then they temper with it once they have studied it and they realize it Holy Quran (2):75

And there is a group of them (Jews and Christians) who distort the Scripture with their tongues that you may think that what they sat is from the Scripture and they say: It is from God, when it is not from God: and they speak a lie concerning God knowingly Holy Quran (3):78. Some of those who are Jews change words from their context Holy Quran (4):46.

This competition between the powerful Jews and Christians still is going so strong secretly in the Churches as well as the Synagogues affecting negatively on the political and economical health of our world. One wishes to destroy the strength and encapsulate the other.

And because of their breaking their covenant (Jews and Christians), We have cursed them and planted a hard shall over their hearts. They change words out of their context and forget a portion of that what they should have memorized. You will always catch some of them committing some act of treachery, yet pardon them and overlook it. God loves those who act kindly. Holy Quran (5):13.

Jesus himself fell into great embarrassment before God, defending himself and removing the accusation of Christians teaching; And behold! God will say: O Jesus the son of Mary! Did you say into men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of God? He (Jesus) will say: Glory to you God never could I say what I had no right to say. Had I said such a thing, You would indeed have known it. You know what is in my heart, though I know not what is in Thine, for You know in full all that is hidden. Never said I to them aught except what You did command me to say, to wit, worship God, my Lord and your Lord; And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them; when You did take me up You was the Watcher over them and You are a witness to all things. If you do punish them, they are your servants: If you do forgive them You are the Exalted in power, The Wise. Holy Quran (5):116-118.

The Quran did not limit the word believers only to the follower of Mohammed, or to the devoted Jews or Christians, but the Quran reached out to the others, as well who shares the same believe of oneness of God, believing in hereafter and behave righteously; It is not according to your desires, nor the desires of the people of earlier Scripture. Whoever does evil shall be recompensed for it, and he will not find a guardian or protector other than God. But whoever does deeds of righteousness, whether male or female, and he or she is a believer, they shall be admitted to Paradise, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly in the least. Holy Quran 4:123-124. Verily, those who have faith in what is revealed to the Prophet and those who are Jews and Christians and Sabaeans—whosoever has faith in God and the Last Day and does right—surely their reward is with their Lord, and no fear shall overcome them and neither shall they grieve. (Holy Quran, Al Baqarah (2):62).

"The Quran points out that Mohammed had not come to cancel the previous faiths, or to be contradicting their prophets, or even to start a new faith. Mohammed messages to the world were exact the same as that of Solomon, David, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. The Quran mentions only those prophets who were known to the Arabs, but today Muslim scholars argue that had Mohammed known about the Buddhists or the Hindus, the Australian Aborigines or the Native Americans, the Quran would have endorsed their sages too, because all rightly Guided religion that submitted wholly to God, refused to worship man-made deities and preached that justice and equality came from the same divine source. Hence Mohammed never asked Jews or Christians to accept Islam, unless they particularly wished to do so, because they had received perfectly valid revelations of their own. The Quran insist strongly that ‘there shall no coercion in matters of faith’ holy Quran 2:256. And commands Muslims to respect the beliefs of Jews and Christians, whom the Quran calls ahl-al-kitab, a phrase usually translated ‘People of the Book’ but which is more accurately rendered ‘People of an earlier revelation’". Regardless of the differences, as long as they believe that there is one God, who is the owner of the universe and as long as they are realizing that they are accountable to their deeds and there will be the day when we all will be standing in the court of God and be prosecuted, the good will be rewarded and the bad will be punished, then they have met the minimum requirements among the believers. Not your (Muslims) desires, nor those of the people of the Book (Jews and Christians) can prevail: Whoever works evil will be required accordingly. Nor will he find, besides God any protector or helper. If nay do deeds of righteousness-Be they male or female-And have faith. They will enter Heaven and not the least injustice will be done to them. Who can be better in religion than the one who submits his whole self to God, does good and follows the way of Abraham the true in faith? For God did take Abraham for a friend. Holy Quran (4): 123-124.

Mohammed, God’s last messenger, has been considered by fair thinkers, such as Mr. Michael Hart, as one of the greatest influences on the world. In his novel, MUHAMMAD, No. 1, The 100, a Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History, by Michael H. Hart. He wrote My choice of Mohammed to lead the list of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels. Of humble origins, Mohammed founded and promulgated one of the world’s great religions, and became an immensely effective political leader. Today, thirteen centuries after his death, his influence is still powerful and pervasive. Mohammed, the first in human history to free the women, terminate slavery, establishing democracy, establishing well fair for poor, elderly and disables, enforced justice, prohibited favorism, prohibited killing girls infants and supported freedom of religion. He encouraged greatest respect to the people of the book (Jews and Christians) and valued their faiths and rights. He has been visiting with them, eating with them and protected their Churches, and synagogues, calling his followers to treat them justly, never invade their privacy and properties, and never destroy their homes or their worship’s facilities. Hijacked By Extremists

It is very obvious that Judaism, Christianity and Islam were hijacked by extremists. The extremists in any faith do have extreme agenda, start with no tolerance to people outside their faith, their color, their sex, their nationality, and the one most expressed through human race is the religion extremists. The main reason for extremists to choose religion as their bridge to reach their goals is, religion give power of authority, moreover religion make it so easy to recruit the ignorant, and majority among them are the youngest. The youngest are easy to be led and obeyed the orders. They are easy to be manipulated and believed in whatever they have been preached with. Thirteen years old Caucasian Christian girl whenever she meets with her peer Muslims, she calls them terrorists. Eleven years old black male think that all Caucasians are evils, sixteen years old Jewish lady lives in Israel, in TV interview she said that she loves to kill Palestinians. The extremists used religion to kill, and they are used to destroy whatever they can destroy, so they can enforce theirs or so another payer’s political agenda. But how come the extremists are outnumbered, controlling our governments system, our educational schools and our religious institutes? The extremists are delivered to fill into the gap that imposed upon the societies separating them from their authentic religion messages. Since we removed religion education from the schools, then next was to be removed from homes by atheist’s messages that reaching our homes through organized influential images and statements delivered through the visualized and read Medias. The extremities and atheists agreed to capture human’s desires, so to break them away from following divine rules. The pornography made for adults and sexual stimulus made for our underage children, inserted and played in during watching young comedian shows with a lot of body contacts and kisses.

We have no way out unless we worked so hard together Jews, Christians and Muslims for the purpose of delivering God’s messages of peace, love, and forgiveness. That is alone will not do, but it is with messages to build up God fearing communities, who believe in the life of hereafter, who believe in God’s punishments and His punishments are severe, and believe in God’s rewards and His rewards are overwhelmingly great that can reach the individual in this earthy life and the life of heaven. Tolerance for others as long as they cause no harm to us, must be taught early in child life. Taking out your life or life of others is forbidden, unless in case of self defense, also must be preached early, especially to our teens. Racism is a state of sickness and must be removed. Color, nationality and religion backgrounds should never be used for prejudice. The children must be taught to judge any individual only be based on his actual performance and character. The authority must do a lot better in controlling drug traffic and alcohol beverage. These two products must be if possible being vanished from any societies that have an honest intention to overcome the growing rate of the crimes and declination of family values.

The Muslims, if they are the true followers of the Prophet Mohammed must remember that Prophet Mohammed honored the people of the book (Jews and Christians), he did not mind to deal justly with them and offer them asylum and protection. Prophet Mohammed never outwardly converted them; furthermore he encouraged them to continue to follow their Scriptures and not to compromise their faiths. Prophet Mohammed reminded Muslims frequently by saying; He who wrongs a Jew or a Christian will have myself as his accuser on the Day of Judgment (Al-Bukhari). It was written in Biography of the Prophet, part I. Beirut: Darul Al Miyyah, 2001, by Ibn Hisham and Abdul-Malik, the Prophet Mohammed said the following; Whoever joins the signatories of this scripture (The Bible) would be entitled to our help and would not be subjected to any injustice, nor should the Muslims cooperate against them. The Children of Ouf (a Jewish tribe) are community of believers, The people of the scriptures are allowed to follow their religion as much as the Muslims are allowed to follow theirs, and so are their allies except the one who commits injustice or sin, for he does not harm but himself . . . The signatories of the document are entitled to mutual advice, sincerity and assistance rather than fighting each other . . . (Biography of the Prophet, P.503).

It was the first in history when the Prophet Mohammed established religious pluralism and freedom of beliefs. The peace among different beliefs was established as long as everyone celebrates the goodness of their religions and did not impose their beliefs on others. It has been known throughout the life story of Mohammed that he never ridiculed other religions and his methods of spreading the messages of Islam by impeding kindness in speech and actions.

Even though in the most difficult time when his kindness was met by rudeness and physical attacks and when his patient and wisdom were tested, he would always peruse politeness and humbleness whenever address the misconceptions and most of the time he does not reply unless he has been commanded by God to do so, Nor does he speak out of his own desire. It is but a revelation that is revealed, taught to him by one of awesome power Holy Quran, Al Najm 53:3-4.

Mohammed believed that among the three major religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, more similarities than differences. God has supported Mohammed thoughts and commanded him to speak to the owner of the book (Jews and Christians) and remind them about this common ground. Say (Mohammed): O People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians). Come to an agreement between us and you: that we shall worship none but God, and that we shall ascribe no partners unto Him, and that none of us shall take others for lords beside God . . . Holy Quran, AL Imran 3:64.

The mainstream media dictates controversy and animosity between religions, particularly between Islam and People of the Book. Unfortunately, many people are swayed by it, naively unknowing that most of the problems are instigated by political propaganda, unbelievers, or misinformed individuals.

Our responsibility as Jews, Christians and Muslims to counteract today political media which was used to sparks for burning feelings and flare up hatred. It is for
