Dr. Frances D. Smith

Rendering to Jesus Christ at an early age, Dr. Frances D. Smith, PhD, continues to be thankful to God for many blessings. The light of Jesus Christ has been a constant presence in Dr. Smith’s personal and professional life. She is family-oriented and ventures through the journey of life with an elegant, optimistic, and calm demeanor. Dr. Smith achieved success in various genres, including business, finance, investment, procurement, contract management, education, entrepreneur, landlord, and author. Early in her career, Dr. Smith was included in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and the Academic All-American Collegiate Directory. She is a member of several honor societies, including Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society and Golden Key International Honor Society. Dr. Smith excelled academically and professionally while serving in various leadership positions as a Federal civilian employee in excess of three decades and member of Franklin United Methodist Church and Watkins Foundation, Incorporated. She received numerous professional and community service accolades. Dr. Smith enjoys baking, reading, writing, exercising, listening to music, and spending time with family. As a proud Historically Black Colleges and University alumna from Morgan State University, Dr. Smith graduated cum laude after completing Business Administration undergraduate studies in 31/2 years. Dr. Smith earned graduate degrees from University of Maryland Global Campus and Northcentral University, Master of Science in Procurement and Contract Management and Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration, respectively. She served as a Morgan State Alumni Mentor and supports each alma mater. Dr. Smith is a dissertation author and she co-authored an article in the Contract Management magazine. Always abiding in service for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Dr. Smith is a faithful Christian servant. Her commitment to following the lead of the Holy Spirit is resolute. Dr. Smith emphatically believes that those who love God and are purposefully called will obtain everlasting benefits (Romans 8:28 NIV).
