The Path Ii: Preparing for the Journey
()
About this ebook
is the second book is a series of books
exploring the biblical, path of righteousness.
In this book we explore the traditions followed
by today’s religious institutions and the true
worship declared by Jesus, The Christ of the only
True Living God. God Almighty wants all of us to enter
His kingdom. He gave us all free will that we may choose
whether, we will enter His kingdom. Each of us is accountable
for our own salvation. We have no one to blame, but ourselves,
if we fall short and cannot enter the beautiful kingdom of the Lord God Almighty. We also explore the little horn power spoken of by Daniel the prophet and the little horn’s futile efforts to change times and laws of God Almighty. Let us all humble ourselves
and get rid of all unrighteousness for Jesus, the Christ,
is returning soon.

To our LORD God Almighty, I AM
Our words are not sufficient to express the LOVE
that we have for you. It is impossible to say how much
we thank you for the opportunity of being a part of
mankind and having the opportunity to live on this
earth and be witness to your perfect LOVE.
To our LORD, Brother, Master and Savior, LORD
Jesus, the Christ of the only true living God
We honor and praise you for giving your life as a sacrifice
for our sins and your willingness to give up your total
Deity so that we may spend eternity with you.
To our LORD Holy SPIRIT,
Thank you for never leaving us to our own understanding
and convicting us of the right things to say and do.
To Barbara, my wife
The joys of 45+ years cannot be put into words. By
the grace of God, our love endures forever.
To my sons Ryan and Bryan
Get Jesus first and everything else will be added unto
you. It will always be an honor to be your earthly father.
PREFACE
Now that we have read The Path (Finding our directions through the Bible) and see the way to salvation, now in the Path II (Preparing for the Journey), we will learn who God Almighty is and what He wants for us all. The path is straight and narrow and there is only room on the Path for truth, the pure truth. The truth not mingled with the traditions of mankind nor fables.
God Almighty wants all of us to enter into His kingdom. He gave us all free will and with our free will, we choose whether or not, we will enter His kingdom. Each of us is accountable for our own salvation. We have no one to blame, but ourselves, if we fall short and cannot enter the beautiful kingdom of the Lord God Almighty.
My prayer for all of us is that we humble ourselves and get rid of envy, pride, arrogance and selfishness and open our hearts to receive the truth as given to us by the Holy Spirit of God Almighty. Do believe that the Holy Spirit of God Almighty is communicating with each one of us, trying to reach each one of us. God Almighty loves us all!

Now that we believe, that GOD Almighty is real and his WORD (Jesus, the Christ) is truth and that He is the creator of all, we can begin to get deeper into who God Almighty is and His plan for us. We can begin to look closer at His characteristics and better understand what He wants of us. We can begin to stand sure-footed on the WORD of God Almighty. Numbers 23:19 states "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"
Every WORD from God Almighty is true. Every deed of God Almighty is righteous. Every thought of God Almighty is pure. Every action of God Almighty is just. Every part of God Almighty is holy. We live in a physical world, while God Almighty lives in the spiritual world; the world we all will eventually end up in. Whether it is for life eternal with our Lord and Savior Jesus, or the lake of fire with Satan, the enemy of God Almighty, we all will make the journey. By increasing our knowledge of who God Almighty is, we know that our preparation for the journey on the path will be on a solid foundation. For without the knowledge of who God Almighty is, we walk around blindly and are easily led by another. Let us revisit what Paul said in Romans 11:11 through 25. So, the gentiles who by faith are made part of the covenant that God Almighty made with Abraham. Therefore, when the gentiles read of Israel in the Old Testament, they are reading of themselves as Israelites who have been graft into the family of God Almighty and the heritage of Abraham.
In Genesis 14:18 through 22 shows that both Melchizedek and Abram called God Almighty the possessor of heaven and earth. The verses state And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, Whether we like it or not, whether we believe it or not, does not change the truth; that the heaven and the earth belongs to God Almighty. We must come to grips with this fact. The heaven and the earth were made by Him and all that is found in them is His. We are all included in the possessions of God Almighty.
In John 4:24, John states "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth". We know that it is not what is seen but rather it is all that is not seen also. Things that are not tangible here in the physical world are tangible in the spiritual world. Words are tangible. We know that the words we speak in the spiritual world are alive. The things we feel here are alive there. Love and hate are tangible in the spiritual world although there will be no hate in life eternal. We know that there will be only good in life eternal.
In Deuteronomy 3:24, Moses said as he sought the Lord God Almighty to let him go over to the land beyond Jordan, "O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might? (Read about these mighty works witnessed by Moses and the children of Israel in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.)
In Deuteronomy 4:23 and 24, as Moses spoke to the people concerning graven images he said "Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee. For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God." We know and believe that God Almighty, as creator of all, has every right to require due benevolent, of us, his creatures. He will never force us. God Almighty is a consuming fire. He is so holy that if He were to look upon sin the object would burn to ashes instantly. He is a jealous God. It pains Him to reach out to us and we continually reject Him, by being partakers of sinful deeds. All is His and He has the right, to establish any commandment or law He deems necessary and He has the right to hold each and every one of us accountable to His laws (The Ten Commandments).
How would we feel if we had given everything to the ones we love in return for only their love, and our love ones always rejected us? No matter what we do to show our love, they reject us. No matter how we plead for them to accept our love, they reject us. No matter how many times we come to their rescue,
