PIVOTAL SCRIPTURE
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my
fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the
fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings
shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;
nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor
for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at
thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and
see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my
refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall
any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over
thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest
thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young
lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver
him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be
with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
—Psalm 91 King James Version (KJV)

Chapter One
The Secret Place
Discovery is the base upon which emerge men who affect generations with unquestionable results. Your personal discovery is your unique strength. The patriarch Abraham found something that made him a generational father—Faith (Rom. 4:1–3). If one dares to discover where God abides and, in turn, abides with God according as he or she has found, such person will affect generations in no long time. He that abides with the Almighty habitually will easily do the things that only the hand of God can do.
We know that the Word is God, but little do we pay attention to the revelation of John the Beloved,
And the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
You can’t be with God and be anything less of God! Did you get that? I know that the scripture says, Ye are gods
(Ps. 82:6), but how many believers are manifesting the God-result today? This is because men have failed to be with God and the secret place has been neglected! It takes a price to be with God.
In this present world, people have secrets and what makes them who they are. Take for instance, if you meet a drunkard on the street and desire to be like the person, it’s simple—just discover the brand of drink the person takes, and take the same over and over again in the same measure or more. With time—maybe few hours—you will become exactly like that person in behavior! If you abide where a drunkard abides, you will soon become one. But don’t desire to be drunk! Instead, be ye filled with the Holy Ghost
(Eph. 5:18).
Do you have someone or people that you admire
their results — the grace at work in them?
If you do admire someone, what you desire is embedded in their secret. Discover their secret and do likewise. Follow them faithfully, associate and maintain company with them if possible, whether live or via social media, and what they carry will soon be seen in you.
If you can discover the secret of a man and apply the same secret just as the person does, you will become whatever the person is; it’s just a matter of time. Of course, it may not happen overnight; but over time, it will happen! Why is it this simple? Oh, yes, it’s because life runs or functions based on principles. If we do understand the place of laws and principles, we will practically achieve every single thing meant for us in life. Life is not supposed to be accidental or coincidental but principle based. No one was designed by God to fail, but people fail because required principles were not followed or applied. There are secrets to everything phenomenal. Nothing phenomenal emerges by accident or coincidence. Life in a sense is like a shopping center—anyone and whoever can purchase anything or whatsoever they desire if they can pay the price! I said if they can pay the price!
Where God Abides
God abides in the secret. The secret place of the Most High is where His secret is. Secrets are what make men. What is hidden is more powerful than what is open. You may wonder, Why? The strength of people is not what they do in the open but what they do in the secret. Whatever you do in the secret is the real you. Your secret is your strength. What makes people great is what they know that others don’t know. It’s called secret. God has a secret! It is available to all, but not all access it.
The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him;
and He will shew them His covenant. (Ps. 25:14)
The context of fear here in this passage means those who truly and properly revere Him or who are His true worshippers. This is true. However, that’s not all we need to access the secret things of God. Reading from the book of Job 29:4, both King James and New International versions put together, we can clearly understand that the deep things of God are far beyond what we see out there today, even in church services. You cannot truly know someone until you live with the person for a while. This is the same with the Almighty God.
It is possible for a man or woman to know God. Daniel 11:32 says, For they that do know their God.
You see, Daniel didn’t say know God
but "know THEIR God" The word their in that scripture speaks of a kind or level of intimacy. You can’t truly know God beyond the conventional level until He becomes your God. I don’t mean salvation but the next level with God after new birth. To know God is different from being born again. One can be born again yet not know God to some dimensions. Why is this so? It doesn’t really cost much or take time to be born again, but it does to know God. It takes time to
