    Foreword

This manuscript is being written, in part, to hopefully help fulfill vows made by the author to the one and only, true, Almighty God, whose name is Jesus.

The vows were made while the author was in a corrupt, defiled, depraved, sinful state of mind, desperately seeking a way out of the emotional, mental, and physical torment he was in, and to avoid the untold, greater, limitless agony, anguish, despair, and torture of hell, the road to which he was well on the way.

Had it not been for the gracious, merciful, and timely intervention of a kind and loving God, the author would not have been on God’s green earth any longer than some twenty years ago, when he was first introduced to the truth about God—His identity, nature, and requirements for salvation.

The reader is cordially and gently invited to examine himself or herself by the light of this work, to approach it with an open mind, and to prayerfully and thoughtfully consider the words of Acts 2:38, King James Version of the Holy Bible, which reads thusly: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

    Preface

Greetings, dear reader, in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your time. One only has so much on this earth. It is deeply appreciated that you have decided to share some of yours with an unworthy, unprofitable, yet believing and grateful servant of the Great I AM.

It is hoped that this work may be your genesis to a closer walk with Him and a stepping-stone into a deeper, more fruitful relationship with the God of gods, King of kings and Lord of lords.

This nonfiction discourse is being written in gender-neutral format, from the point of view of an all-seeing, all-knowing observer, although only the Almighty God truly meets those classifications.

The use of the first and second person, singular and plural, in the presentation of these precepts has been purposefully avoided. Sometimes the masculine third person will be used, and sometimes the feminine. God is no respecter of persons and uses all men and women, as He alone sees fit, to further His divine design.

And so, my hopefully to be friend, your journey begins. For some of you the material presented here will be old hat. For others, it may be the first time you have read or been presented with the truths provided in these pages. Whatever the case is for you, it is hoped that you will be edified, fortified, nourished, and strengthened.

Thank you again, dear reader, and it is heartily hoped
