This book is about friendship, love, courage, disappointment, hurt and loss. My main goal for writing this book is to allow anyone reading these chronicles to grab onto hope, believe that in any circumstance they can overcome anything. I want to encourage others to know they are not alone; and, help them gain peace and comfort when going through difficulties.
Are you someone who feels that you never catch a break? Do you feel as though people are continually judging you and you just don’t measure up? Maybe you lost someone or something so dear to your heart, you didn’t think you could make it through? Do you ever feel that you don’t want to come out from under the covers and you think life is just too hard to bear? I know I have had some of these same feelings. So, the outcome of these feelings came this book.

I am a wife, mother, and sister and all these writings come from my heart. I am someone who has loved and lost. I have had some really great friendships; and, also had to let go of some of those friendships. I have had the courage to stand firm through disappointment and hurt; and, I have suffered loss. Through these experiences, I have gained the strength and courage to write about them. In my writings I am able to make my thoughts and feelings come alive; and, hope that through this book I will be able to help others overcome difficulties that they may be going through. I was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula, am the fifth of six children; and, I have a twin sister, who encouraged me to write. I graduated high school and attended some college, but my true passion is helping people.

A Mother’s Bond

A Mother’s Heart can be broken;

but, her spirit will always live inside her.

The love she pours out is never ending.

Through thick and thin she will always be there,

because the love she has for her family,

is one-of-a-kind and forever true.

This mother has these daughters so very near and dear to her heart.

Her daughters, you see, want to spread their wings and soar to heights unknown.

What they don’t realize,

is their life may become hard and toilsome at times.

But, in their heart they know the bond that holds mother and daughter,

will always be stronger than anyone can imagine.

It cannot be broken no matter how far they try to run or what they have done.

Because, a mother will always be there to welcome them back into her arms again.

There might be harsh words that were spoken to try and break their bond.

There may be obstacles and people who will try to tear them apart;

but, what this mother holds onto during these times of trouble,

are the good times and happy times that were shared throughout their life together.

As you can see, the bond between these daughters and their mother can never be broken,

because the love they share is the love God gave them for their lifetime.

God gave this mother her daughters to love and protect,

and provide guidance and direction throughout their life.

But, as with any relationship, there will be times of disappointment, frustration, and anger,

but, what this mother hopes for is reconciliation between her daughter(s) and her.

You see, she will always hold onto the bond that has carried them through

all the fun times and bad times.

Their actions and that of their friends,

have tried to break their bond,

but, it cannot be broken because this mother’s love is Oh, so strong.

Always remember when love is this strong,

No matter the choosing true love cannot be broken.

So, always remember that God gave you the family,

that He knew could guide you through any trials and temptations that the world has to offer.

Also, remember that a Mother’s love is one God has bestowed upon her
