This book was written for all those who love and feel the world deeply.
We are the feelers.
We are the healers.
We are the ones who will inspire greatness.
We are the ones willing to lend a hand when life needs a spirited facelift.
We are the soul searchers, the worldly workers.
We are the ones fighting silent plights in an effort to tame our inner demons and regain our nights.
With fierce fire flowing through our veins, we are the ones who are made for greatness.
We are the ones made to gloriously reign.

Handcuffed and Enlightened - Pina Fiorillo
STAINED Glass
I thought I saw the light inside…
Inside your eyes.
Little did I know, it was but a mere figment of my imagination, a shattered glare from the cracked window inside your soul?
Little do you know, that the reflection which shines through the edges of the broken pieces emit the most brilliant colors.
Little do you know, how those cracked and broken pieces fit together so flawlessly
A strung pendulum of moments… with every glare, every touch, we are now forever interwoven.
But little do you know, and so you continue to search in dark places for a light which seemingly already exists, but goes unnoticed.
A united light between us…abandoned
And so you go…
Unaware you go, continuing on your path of destruction
You are cold and unattached all the while reveling in a misguided and fornicated soul.
Your soul, created, once celebrated but now separated from the light, our light!
Almost unconscious, you go…in an attempt to regain control to recover but a glimmer of who you believed you had lost, long before me.
You see this… and thus recognize,
To succumb to the vulnerability poses a threat to your unrighteous survival and so I become dangerous to your plans
For we were connected, by our string of lights, but for a moment in time,
But you break free…
In a vast attempt you break free to salvage and regain your consciousness only to fall again into darkness
You are tempted by false lights
Diamonds which radiate so bright
And appear to emit the most amazing sparkle, but are stained.
They will devour you. For they are imitation and only an illusion of your mind
But you are safe…
Safe from feeling and absent from a love which unjustly haunts you despite how you intensely you crave it.
You are broken and numb.
What once was, is no more
Replaced with a foolish replica, an imposter.
One which you now welcome home.
But… my light will shine brighter now
Though broken and cracked.
Aware of the ridged edges, severed by a continuous stream of rightness.
Tenaciously and perfectly awaiting its new counterpart.
For I see and understand that darkness is only but an absence of light
I am frightened and confused…
Separation may redirect my path but my light will flow onward
If only I can muster the courage to shatter the remanence of your beautifully colored lies which remain rooted in my fractured soul.
I must break the stone of betrayal you so effortlessly implanted within my window,
I am stronger and more confident than this said frail love affair
I am vulnerable but true
Intrigued by the explicit colors and vibrant light emitted
So colorfully tainted
Why do I strive so hard to mend the broken?
Why do I fight so hard to conceal shattered light?
Why do I wish to escape this reality?
Imperfectly beautiful, why not just shine through the rubble?
The CRIES of a Soul
There is a silence in your voice,
Question in your whisper,
Noise which clouds your judgement,
With so much still to be uncovered,
You possess an abundance of grace, asking for nothing in return,
Naïve of your inherit biases,
You are an enabler of your self-denial with which you lose sight of your own humanness
You stand with dignity and humility as you embark on your journey
You are resilient in your vulnerability
Free from constraints of the ego.
Ever mindful of the multitudes which walk among you,
You stand tall and unharmed
With sound mind you await your next opportunity to glorify goodness
Confident and calm in your conviction
And proud in your existence,
Flourishing with love entrusted to you.
Patiently you wait
BE Still
The sadness behind her eyes was not that of solace,
But of a yearning to be understood and to understand.
Be still with me oh Lord when I am fearful.
Be present with me oh Lord when I am defeated
Be alive in me oh Lord when I awaken.
You transcend amidst the chaos of all evil and transfigure its soul.
You uphold the almighty with your fervor and devour all that is unrighteous.
The sadness behind her eyes was not that of solace,
But of a yearning to be understood and to understand.
