About this ebook

This is a story about a multi billionaire from Mexico who had multiple health problems, and was going to be hospitalized for the rest of his life. Not willing to accept such a diagnosis, he comes up with a devious plan and manages to escape from the hospital. He is fleeing to his friend’s place in Brazil when his chopper crashes in the Amazon rain forest.
When he wakes up from his coma after about two months, he finds himself 40 years younger and cured of all his health problems, all thanks to the native Indian tribe that rescued and treated him with herbal medicine. He returns to Mexico, and instantly becomes a media sensation as he tells his story, which results in a global hunt for these herbal plants.
The billionaire feels guilty about the harm that is being visited on the Amazon forest and the Indian tribes because of his notoriety, and decides to return to Brazil to help the ones to whom he feels indebted. He makes his way into the Amazon forest and eventually finds the very native tribe that saved his life.

    CHAPTER 1

    STUCK IN HOSPITAL FOR LIFE

Somewhere in Mexico, in a private hospital, in a private five-star room lay Mr. Beet butterfly on his bed. Mr. Beet Butterfly was a multi-billionaire who was suffering from multiple health problems.

In the adjoining room, the senior doctors were having a discussion. Based on their discussion, they concluded that he’d have to stay in the hospital for the rest of his life. As they discussed, Mr. Beet had sneaked out the bed and listened to the whole conversation between the top doctors and overheard their final decision. Upon completion the of the discussions, the doctors decided to go and visit Mr. Beet to see how he was doing, so Mr. Beet sneaked back in to the bed and waited for the doctors like nothing had happened.

    The doctors came into his room and asked;

How are you feeling today Mr. Beet Butterfly?

I feel much better since I’ve been admitted. The medications seem to be working. He replied.

We’d have to keep you here to monitor you for a few more days, and then you’d be free to go The doctors said.

Pretending not to know anything, That’s perfectly in order, not a problem at all He replied, as the doctors left the room.

Lying on the bed, several thoughts ran through Mr. Beet’s mind, so much money but of no use, what good is all this money for if I have to spend the rest of my life in hospital?

While still in deep thought, a nurse knocked on the door and came in, without waiting for an invitation. She was a fat Chinese’s woman.

Mr. Beet Butterfly, how are we doing today? she asked him, in a Chinese accent.

I don’t know about you but I am perfectly fine, he replied.

That’s not true, I know you are very sick, she chuckled, as she measured his blood pressure, sugar, and heartbeat. While taking notes, she accidentally dropped her ball pen, but as she bent to pick the pen, she farted.

That’s a bad one; did you eat a dead rotten fish? Beet remarked, making a face.

Not getting the joke, no no Mr. Beet, I don’t eat alive fish, always dead one. She replied, laughing. She finally finished all the tests and asked Mr. Beet if he needed anything else,

Mr. Beet thought for a minute, and then asked her if she knew who he was.

She again laughs aloud, everybody knows Mr. Beet Butterfly, the multi billionaire. Why you ask me such questions?

Mr. Beet thought for a while and then went straight to the point. Would you like to make some money?

Of course she replied, everybody love money, but what do I have to do?

Help me escape from the hospital.

No no she shouts back, not possible, I will lose my job for good and will not get a job in any other hospital in Mexico.

But you will not need another job replied Mr. Beet.

There was silence in the room for a while. Without wasting more time, he offered to give her a million US dollars if she agreed to help him escape from the hospital. He told her to go think over it and come back the next day with her answer while he comes up a perfect plan to escape.

The next day, she came to the hospital and went to Mr. Beet’s room first thing in the morning, which was not her normal routine.

Good morning Mr. Beet, hope you slept well. As for me, I haven’t blinked my eyes the whole night.

What is your answer? asked Mr. Beet,

I am ready to help you, but you have to come up with a very good plan because there are armed guards, guarding your room day and night.

Mr. Beet’s mood sank, as he had no idea that there were armed guards just outside his room. That meant he had to come up with a new plan. Nevertheless, he did not lose hope and asked her to contact one of his most loyal and longtime personal assistants Mr. P K Ram, a South Indian from India, who migrated to Mexico some fifteen years ago and has been working with Mr. Beet since then. He gave her his contact details and asked her to go and ask him to come and meet Mr. Beet the next day.

After the routine checkup, Tia the nurse left the room and Mr. Beet started to think of a new plan of escape.

Later that day, Tia called Mr. P K Ram. She asked him where they could meet up. They decided to meet up in a Pub later that evening at around 6 pm., Tia asked Mr. P K Ram how she would recognize him and he told her to look for the darkest skinned Indian in the pub, she also mentioned to him that she was a big fat Chinese woman. At around 6pm. Tia headed to the pub to meet Mr. P K Ram. She entered the pub and all heads turned towards her. There in a faint distance was a dark Indian with a big smile waving at her; she went towards him and asked,

    You Mr. P K Ram?

Mr. P K Ram was from that part of India, where they use facial expressions and head movement to say anything from yes, no, good, bad, sad, joyful etc.

Mr. P K Ram shook his head left, right, up, down, tilting it sideways, and even in circles, but Tia could not understand whether he was saying yes or no and she almost took off.

Yes yes, it’s me, he said, in a proper Indian accent.

She told him that Mr. Beet wanted to meet him but nobody else was to know that they were going to meet, not even his young wife or any of his children (two boys and a girl), who were all adults of course, but unfortunately, none of them cared about their father neither did the hot young wife. He told her to tell Mr. Beet that he would come to the hospital at 10 am. the next day, and they both left the pub.

The next day at 10 am., Mr. P K Ram reached the hospital and went straight to Mr. Beet’s room.

    Good morning Sir

Good morning PK Mr. Beet replied. "I knew you would be here on time just as you had promised. Now listen carefully PK and do not tell anyone, and I mean anyone. These doctors are planning to keep me in the hospital for the rest of my life.

Oh no Sir, that’s not good.

Yes, I know that better than anyone else, but I have a plan to get out of here.

Oh no Sir that’s not a good thing to do Mr. P K Ram said. You could die out there Sir.

Yes I know that and I want to die out there doing things, I don’t want to die here on the hospital bed. I called you here because there is no one out there that I can trust. Please try and understand put yourself in my shoes, would you like to live the rest of your life in hospital, knowing very well that only your coffin would come out of the hospital or would you want to make the most of the remaining life?

Ok Sir, I think I do understand your problem. What is it that you want me to do?

    Just then, Tia walked in.

I believe you know each other.

    Yes. They both replied.

Good, the two of you will work closely together for my plan to work. Is that ok with the both of you?

    Yes. They both replied.

"Come back tomorrow at the same time and please, do come with my checkbook. Also, take my credit card and withdraw some petty cash. PK, this will be your last assignment as my personal assistant, and I will pay you a million US dollars for this last job.

It’s not necessary Sir, I’m still working for you, and I am getting paid. Replied PK.

That’s ok but this is something I want you to remember me for. I am still trying to finalize the plan, but by the time you come here tomorrow, everything will be ready. So see you tomorrow.

Sir, you didn’t tell me how much cash you want me to withdraw.

Oh get me $20,000. Mr. Beet replied.

They agreed to meet at the same time the next day, said goodbye and left.

The next day, as promised, Mr. P K and Tia came to Mr. Beet’s room at 10.00 am. After the usual greetings, Mr. Beet asked Tia to check if anyone could hear them from outside. As he and P K were chatting, she went out to check if they could be heard from outside. She confirmed that they couldn’t be heard from outside.

Great! Now let’s get to business. Here are your tasks: Tia, your task is to look around for a look alike.

What is this look alike? Tia interrupted.

Someone who looks like me; doesn’t have to be exactly like me but his height, body shape and any other attribute he has that is similar to mine. Even if it’s just a matching body stature, that will do. The rest can be done by a makeup artist.

In order for them to understand what he wanted, he had to explain the escape plan.

"This is what we will do: Once you have found someone who looks like me, remember it is important that my clothes fit him, then you will offer him an acting job for which he will be paid. Tell him that you’re shooting a movie. You will then take him to a makeup artist, show the artist my picture and ask him or her to make the actor look like me, but with a fake beard. Then
