I won “Miss Great Britain” in 1964, my name then was Carole Redhead, I am proud of my many achievements and felt I wanted to share this and decided to write a Children’s Book. The idea was to give confidence to children that may have experienced being bullied. As a child I was shy and experienced this myself and gained strength over the years to overcome these problems, so with a bit of humour in my book I hope it would help and give insight on what can be done if you believe in yourself!
