Cindy is a conglomerate of many special attributes. She is a seeker. She is eager to learn in order to fill the coffers of her mind. She is a healer who can sense what an individual may be suffering and helps comfort and alleviate the cause. She loves and protects her family like a tigress. And as a friend of many years, she is a blessing I treasure.

Preface
This is my second book, and I wanted to write this because so many had asked how I became a healer and when did I know I wanted to be one. I would just simply tell them that I went crazy for three days, lost my mind, and then was given the gift of healing. But it wasn’t that easy. It was pure hell.
Half of my later life has been as a healer, and it took this long to write about it. When my traumatic experience happened more than thirty years ago, I couldn’t speak about it for ten years. I suffered alone, keeping those memories inside because it hurt so much to think about them, let alone share them with anyone. The only person I was able to confide in after the ten years was my sister Lynn because she was there when it happened and she saw me going through it. She tried very hard to understand me, and she was a great listener.
It was a very difficult time, and experiencing the horrendous tests had given me more strength than ever. I wanted to succeed; I didn’t want to lose to them. But at the same time, I was resisting succumbing to their wishes. My feelings for them constantly changed. Were they omnipotent? Were they benevolent? It confused me for weeks and months … and then years.
I hope you read this with an open heart. Some things are very difficult to believe, but this is my experience, and I understand you will be able to take so much. But read and imagine you are watching a science fiction or a paranormal movie. It may be the only way you can enjoy it. It was a very frightening and shocking-to-the-core experience.
It is a journey I wouldn’t want anyone to go through because it was the scariest and most terrifying experience of all, and this is my story.
My Japanese guide helped me create this prayer:
Kamisamaga totonoyete kuretakotowa, mainichi minawo aishi minnakara aisare, donnani kurushiikotoya, kanashiikotoga attemo zetaini jibunwo semezu gurezu zurenaiyouni, mainichiga yoihidearuyouni soshite kamisamaga minnawo mimamotte kureruyo innoteorimasu.
Prayer translation:
What God had planned for us is to love everyone and be loved by everyone, even though how harsh, sad, or difficult life can be … Never condemn yourself, falter, regret, or be weakened. And pray for happiness that God is protecting everyone and that every day brings hope and sunshine to your life.
I was tested by my guides for many years. And a few years later, when I realized I wasn’t being tested anymore, I decided to name my book Passed with Flying Colors because I felt and was proud to say that I had successfully passed the test.
I’ve had a busy life, soul-searching and experiencing the spiritual realm. As I’ve extensively traveled the world to ancient cities and ancient cultures, I was honing myself to cultivate writing my past. I believe timing is everything, and I thank my husband Gus who had the patience and perseverance to understand my spiritual quest. I love and appreciate him very much. I thank and love my sons, Bryan and Jun, for having patience in me while I was going through my lessons, tests and putting up with the craziness of it all.
I thank my siblings Lynn for always being there for me, supporting and comforting me during and after my experiences; and Meiko for sharing spiritual incites and awareness and understanding my needs. I thank my brother John for sharing his knowledge and giving me positive advice.
Chapter 1
Childhood
I was born on November 22, 1954, as Cecilia Urbano/Ritsuko Kinjo. My father Alberto Mendoza Urbano was born of a Filipino mother and an Italian father. After becoming a Japanese citizen, he changed his name to Al Kinjo. My mother Tsuruko Kinjo was a Japanese from Naha, Okinawa. My mother lost both of her parents during World War II in Okinawa.
My parents got married, even though back then, an international marriage was frowned upon. My father had stayed after journeying on a navy submarine from the Philippines to fix the roads on Okinawa damaged during the war. He was promised to become a US citizen. The submarine was going toward San Diego, California, but made a detour to land in Okinawa. Thank God as I would have never been born if my father had landed in San Diego.
I was the second of four children. When I was three, I had kidney problems and was urinating blood. So my mother thought I would be a weakling, but I proved her wrong. I was like a boy, playing only with neighborhood boys, riding and racing bicycles, climbing trees, and forming a boys’ group with myself as the team leader. I wore cutoff jean shorts until I was fourteen and rumbled like a boy. I was a tomboy.
Early memories of childhood:
When I was five years old, I got in trouble with my mother. She spanked me and wouldn’t let me in the house after I had dirtied my new dress.
I decided to run away and look for my father who was still working far away. I was determined to find him.
Somehow, I was inside a UFO. The beings asked if I’d like to go home with them. I was happy and said yes. They gave me some kind of candy after I showed them a dance I had learned on TV. They said how much they loved me and gave me
