About this ebook

Have you ever not wanted to go to sleep in fear that you would have a nightmare? Have you ever not wanted to wake up in the morning? Have you ever sat in the parking lot of your workplace and cried your eyes out? Have you ever pretended to be happy while you were dying on the inside? Well, I have too!

Each of us have experienced grief in some waywhether it was from the loss of a parent, child, spouse, grandparent, aunt, uncle, sibling, cousin, or best friend.

This book of free verse poems, traditional poems, and random thoughts address the many stages of grief, emotions, concerns, and experiences I went through as a young, widowed woman. Although this book is written for widows, there are several poems in which everyone can relate.

I invite you to travel with me through my journey of widowhood. The journey has yet to end, but its not as rocky as when I fi rst traveled that long, dreaded road!
