Angela Martin was born and lives in the United kingdom. This is her third book of a series she intends to write based on her life as a christian. She formally came to faith in 2012. She was born in England to Jamaican Parents. Although she has lived in England for most of her life, she has traveled extensively. She is a postgraduate from King’s College London she studied MSc Information Processing and Neural Networks. In July 2015 Angela took a leap of faith and started Vine ministry UK which encompasses teaching, evangelism and counselling on the Christian faith. INTRODUCTION

In writing this book I know that I run the risk of negative criticism from those who read it. The only judgment that really matters is the one I face from God. You see I have a purpose I have a calling on my life to save lives. To save you from falling. What I would suggest that you do is, to keep an open mind and see the lessons I teach you in the true sense that they are given. It is my intention to open your eyes to the pitfalls of life you may be faced with and guide you in a direction you need to be headed.

When I was born I had a disease which is common to many black people, a disease known as sickle cell anaemia. For the benefit of those of you who do not know what this disease means. It is a debilitating disease which affects the red blood cells making them sickle in shape and thus difficult to obtain oxygen. As a result, the recipient of the disease suffers severe tiredness. In extreme forms of the disease the recipient could suffer strokes and the inability to function effectively at high altitudes. This is usually if they have the double gene for this disease. They will usually undergo blood transfusions to help renew the blood and make it easier for them to live a normal life. The usual life span of a person with this disease is no more than 30 years old. Fortunately I only have the trait which means I only have one of the genes for this disease. However, if I married a person who had the disease it would be advisable not to have children as the likelihood of them contracting the disease would be great.

I believe that I was called by God to serve. I could have had full blown sickle cell anaemia, but God intervened and I only had the trait. My experience with the disease in it’s severe format was obtained through my cousin, my mother’s sister’s son, who spent the whole of his 30 years of life frequenting hospitals for transfusions and aid especially towards the end of his life when he died just short of age 30. I know for sure that I am supported by the God who heals, who preserves and that I shall not perish for lack of knowledge. Let me explain, I only began to take my Christian walk seriously in 2011, that is, way past my 30th birthday. I am convinced that God has preserved my life for such a time as this. In order to testify of his mercy and his living existence and the good news about Jesus, that is, he came to give us life and life more abundantly. So whatever you are going through count your blessings because you just don’t know yet how God has saved you and preserved you for a purpose. I truly believe if you have picked up this book that you too have a purpose that God want’s you to fulfill. It is up to you if you choose to pursue searching him to find out exactly what it is you were designed to do on this earth.

So join me once again for this ride through my life, so that I may impart what I have learnt, to arrive at the place I am now. Although I have learnt in reality that by the time you have read the end of this book I would have already moved on to another level in Christ.

Lord, be ever present as I write this book

let every line, every word and every chapter

be inspired by you. May we be led by your spirit.

May it render to the hearts of all those

who read it drawing them closer to you.

Closer to hearing you yearning for the very essence of you.

Desiring a place where they are brought right into your presence.

Let every line come alive through the life that is in you. A life of truth and excellence.

I am excited to be writing again. I thought whilst I am going through what appears to be the most torrential time in my life, I would begin to write the long-awaited sequel to the book To Thine be the Glory. I believe our Lord was precise and accurate with the words he spoke many years ago in Mark 8v6. I have been driven by this very principle and believe that it is this which has kept my feet from slipping into the area of living a life of financial gain coupled with people trampling. It is Christmas 2016, this year has seen me leave a place I thought I would never leave. I got a breakthrough God has brought me out for that I praise him. Look at how he has brought me out, not in fine form but in splendid excellent form with my integrity intact; and with my mind intact. Nobody at this moment in time would want to be me as I have no real fame or fortune, but that’s ok I can live with that. Not knowing where you are going to end up the next moment to the next. No real stability, but the one in Christ Jesus. What
