About the Book
I HAVE WRITTEN THIS BOOK as a way to talk about things that happen in everyday life. In the book I discuss many topics on life in general and the many struggles people face. I talk about some personal experiences in life and things I have faced. The book explains some ways to overcome problems, situations, circumstances and personal life challenges. I clearly speak about things such as relationships problems and what cause them, emotional trauma, struggling, teenage pregnancy, forgiveness, trust, focusing on one’s own life, and much more. I also pinpoint certain insecurities people suffer from and how they might be able to overcome them. Some of the Content is followed by scriptures from the King James Version of the Holy Bible. I also wrote the book titled (Keeping it Real the Reality of it All} that was published in the year 2007.
Choose Your Battles
MOST OF THE CHOICES WE make in life are totally up to us. We have a lot of options to discover our own destiny. Sometimes we make choices in life that we later find out are not the best choices. We have freedom to pick and choose who we want in our lives and what kind of future to look forward to. We have the right to set our own goals in life and all opportunity to carry them out. We are free to have our own expectations from other people, places, and things. Although we choose the wrong way to go at times, it is up to us to pick up the pieces and journey on. No one can make up our mind for us. God gives us each a mind of our own. We must use it wisely because if we make the wrong decisions, we will later suffer the consequences.
If you want to live a good, healthy, prosperous, productive life, you must choose positive people to be around who are on the same level, and are beneficial to you physically, mentally, emotionally, and in some cases financially. Choose people who are suitable for the life you want to live. If you want to live a happy life, choose to be around people who will bring you joy and happiness. Be around people who are full of great intentions. Don’t deal with people who don’t care about life, what it has to offer and who will suck the life right out of you. Make sure you are among people who are on your level of success. Always be mindful of your surroundings. If you want the finer things in life then you must work hard to achieve them. If a man does not work he does not eat.
Things don’t always work the way we want them to in life but we have alternate ways of making them better. If we want success then we must choose the right career path and follow our dreams. All things are possible through Christ who strengthens us.
We pick and choose our own battles. If you are heading down a productive path and hang with the wrong crowd, chances are that they will try to bring you down with them. Some people don’t pull you down intentionally, but they just don’t see life as you see it and can care less how your life turns out. It is very sad to say but it is ever so true. We must use time wisely and not waists time on people, places and things that have no sense of purpose or motivation in life. We can’t get time back that we waist on others and we will find people that will waist our precious time. Time is priceless and it has value.
Why put yourself in a situation that you will later regret? If you find yourself doing something that is going to cost you everything that you have worked hard for, cut the cords, you have all opportunity to walk away without looking back. You must know to never stay in a situation that is just messy. Once you accept a battle you have to fight it and if you are not properly geared up with the word of God, you better believe it is going to be a tough one. Yes God sees us through all of our battles but he gives us the choice to not encounter them.
