About this ebook

The book reveals that the science of Quantum Physics can bring clarity and understanding of the love of God and how He can have complete knowledge of all things yet not hinder free will.

The Quantum Love of God is what makes Christianity completely different and unique from all the other religions in the world because it is the only religion where Jesus Christ, who is love Himself, comes to dwell within each willing heart when He is invited to.

The book takes an insightful look at Quantum Physics and separates the objective science of Quantum Physics from the subjective mystical and spiritual interpretations and then compares them with what the Bible has to say on this subject.

The book does not attempt to combine the latest discoveries of Quantum Physics with Christian doctrine to show that theology and science fit together very comfortably, or to prove scientifically that God exists.

    CHAPTER 1

The Fascinating World of Quantum Physics

Q uantum physics is a truly fascinating subject filled with seemingly bizarre counter-intuitive mysteries and paradoxes that can make the head spin! There have been many books written about quantum physics that take a purely scientific approach. However, there are also some that mix science and speculative metaphysical interpretations of the quantum world to posit the theory that quantum physics affects love within relationships and causes multi-dimensional entangled effects upon human beings in the space-time continuum.

The word quantum used in physics can be defined as the smallest possible nanoscopic amount of the many different forms of energy that penetrate everything in the Cosmos from the finite to the infinite. I have applied it to the love of God, which transcends everything because it is limitless and immeasurable, as well as far beyond human comprehension and understanding.

I am firmly convinced that every human being has an unquenchable longing for love, and to love and be loved because God is love.¹ The love a person feels for another is just a minute shadow of God’s love for EVERYONE! Jesus Christ is the very definition of love itself and the empirical evidence that God truly exists. He is the embodiment of love, and everything that He says or does is motivated by love.

God has given to human beings freely, and without limits, the desire and capacity for love, because they are created in His image.² His love has no beginning or end, no depth or height, width or length that can be measured. It is knowable by human beings through Jesus Christ and can be intimately experienced because of Him. His love is spontaneous and transcends all limits of human emotions and intellect.

There are layers and layers of God’s love that are forever expanding and can radically transform a person by the active working of Holy Spirit. It is one of those intangibles - something that cannot be completely or fully experienced by the five senses because it originates in the heart of God and never stops flowing.³

Personal experiences over the years have helped to solidify in me the truth that the love of God revealed in the Bible can be trusted and is the supreme and only reliable source for learning about how a person is truly loved by the Creator of the Universe and how they can love Him back.

I believe that it is the quantum love of God that makes Christianity completely different and unique from all the other religions in the world because it is the only religion where Jesus Christ, who is love Himself, comes to dwell within each willing heart when He is invited to.

I was married for 36 years before my late wife, who after being diagnosed with a terminal illness before our getting married, finally graduated from this world as she succumbed to the ravages of severe pain and disease that brutally pummeled her body for far too many years. I was left weary, broken and battered. The future before me was daunting and intimidating.

Throughout my life, as I struggled with the effects of sickness and disease, I felt like I was wandering in the desert wilderness for decades. My family was confronted with storm after storm, and crisis after crisis on a daily basis. There were also many physical, emotional, as well as spiritual and theological challenges, that faced us from both inside and outside the church.

Those challenges forced me to reconsider all that I had been taught about such things as forgiveness, the love of God, His divine authority, and sovereignty, as well as just how much personal accountability He has, and the responsibility every Christian has, in the struggles of life.

I survived in the perpetual uncertainty of what each day would bring and was forced to learn how to live daily and not worry about tomorrow as Jesus commanded.⁴ I still have yet to be able to completely live moment by moment, but even now, years later since the death of my wife, I continue to grow more exponentially desperate for Jesus with every new sunrise. That is the one greatest experience to have come out of the many painful challenges faced, and I am profoundly grateful to Jesus for never letting go or leaving me alone in the wilderness.

Just out of High School I started going to a small rural church tucked away in the mountains of Southern California at the insistence of my best friend and found myself falling in love with Jesus along with a bunch of fully devoted lovers of God. We spent much time together and got to truly love and care for each other.

One of the great relationships that came out of the church was with Bob and Claudia, a couple whom I became best of friends with, and I loved them dearly. Over the years I cherished the times of contact with them which became more infrequent when they moved out of state. They also went through some seriously hard times and struggles that challenged their marriage and health, which ultimately resulted in the death of my dear friend Bob a few years before the passing of my wife.

We had lived in different states and had not seen each other for many years but remained in contact. After my wife had died, I was able to attend the wedding of their youngest son and saw Claudia in person for the first time in 21 years. My heart seemed to skip a beat when I saw her, and the joy and love I experienced was beyond words to describe. That kind of shook me up. I did not understand what was happening. I never thought I could feel love like this! I felt a little guilty and ill prepared as I had become an emotional train wreck of twisted steel and broken pieces that had been left scattered and tarnished from so many years left out untouched and exposed to the painful and debilitating elements and trials experienced over my life.

I was so thankful we had stayed friends as years turned into decades. The most amazing thing to me, when I saw Claudia, was that it seemed as if love had just folded the span of time and space between us, and at that very moment the many years that had passed between us seemed to have never happened.

Meeting her 40 years prior was by the hand of God. Becoming her friend was a choice, but love is friendship set on fire, and I found myself falling deeply in love with her. We were married sometime later. I felt like I had entered the Promised Land after wandering in the wilderness for so long.

The experience of time seemingly folding when we saw each other set me on a journey of exploring how that could be which led me to begin research in the wonders of the quantum world, reading and studying countless books, scientific articles and journals on the subject. What I learned was profound, to say the least. However, I also discovered how much miss-information there was on the subject, especially under the guise of new spiritual ‘revelation.’

I must emphasize at the onset of this study that I have yet to find any empirical evidence that God is revealing ‘new’ things, of which the Bible does not speak, about the supernatural realm through quantum physics. The Bible says nothing directly about the mathematics of quantum physics. However, there are some interesting verses in Scripture that allude to the mechanics of the quantum world, and they will be discussed in this book.

The information presented here is not based upon personal life experiences through supernatural visions, words of knowledge or prophetic proclamations. I am not a prophetic explorer who is trying to look behind the curtain of creation to discover new mysteries of the Creator. I have always tried to find a balanced approach to the subjects I have written about using the Bible as the primary source for what I have written and have worked at diligently applying the rules of Hermeneutics⁵ in each subject explored.

There are other books written about the quantum world from a Christian perspective that use a fresh or special revelational spiritualized approach in how they address the subject and purport to give a biblical justification for using the theories and experiments of physicists in the scientific community. I have read them with an open mind and great diligence comparing the self-described revelational findings with what the Bible actually has to say about them.

My intent in writing this book is to separate the objective science from the subjective mystical and spiritual interpretations and compare them with what the Bible has to say on this subject. I will not try to combine the latest discoveries of quantum physics with Christian doctrine to show that theology and science fit together very comfortably, or to prove scientifically that God exists.

I have chosen to use the Bible to help present a unique perspective and understanding of the amazing quantum world that may help to bring greater understanding of God’s majestic power, splendor and love. It will also provide some unique insights regarding historical church doctrines that were written by mortal fallible human beings and passed down through the ages.

    CHAPTER 2

    In The Beginning

"For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." (Rom 1:20 NIV)

T he Cosmos is intricately balanced and tailor-made for life and yet is both profoundly complex and chaotic as a result of what was revealed in the Bible, known as the Fall of humankind. ⁶, ⁷ At the macro level the Cosmos appears orderly like a clock, but at the sub-atomic level matter behaves chaotically. If gravity were infinitesimally different in any way, everything in the universe would change.

As a young teenager, I came to the logical conclusion that nothing can create something, so the universe had to have been created by a Supreme Being. It seemed far more reasonable to believe that God exists than not to believe He exists. The Bible reveals why there is an existing universe rather than a non-existing one.

When I became a Christian, I met the one true God through faith, but one of the questions I could never go beyond was where did God come from? I could relate to Jesus as God the Son, and somewhat understand Holy Spirit as God, but my brain would begin to fry circuits when I tried to comprehend the Father as always existing.

"By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible." (Heb 11:3 NIV)

I came to learn that my reasoning was both irrational and nonsensical by contemplating the origin of God the Father because it implies that He lives within the space-time continuum of a finite universe He created. The truth is that God has no beginning - He IS!⁸ The Bible tells us why the Universe exists and proclaims that Jesus is the divine Designer who created it with a purpose and maintains all things by the word of His power.⁹

The Bible says that God has clearly revealed Himself to every human being since time began in the beauty of the heavens, for since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse (Rom 1:18-20 NIV).

Science is limited to investigations within the material, physical world. Until the beginning of the 20th-century scientists thought that the classical physics of Sir Isaac Newton¹⁰ explained all the physical processes of nature and that they should be observed like a logical and mechanical clock. They also believed that natural laws govern the universe in an orderly fashion. Scientists started to explore the relationship between energy and the structure of matter and
