Join the author as she shares hard-won lessons and looks to Scripture and the Lord to find wisdom from her Days of Plunder.
Diana has shared some of her most intimate and painful life experiences as she has come to know God in greater ways and become an overcomer in the midst of crisis. She shares how she has walked through tragedies, turning them into triumph by the strength of God in her midst.
She has experienced personally, and worked directly with those in crisis as both a caregiver and on crisis emergency management teams. She has a keen understanding of pain and losses as she has walked through much of lifes trials personally. I have known Diana for several years and have seen her go through much of what you will see in this book. I have been impressed that she was able to take the bitter lemons that life has given her and mix it with the sweetness of God’s love, forgiveness, and healing power to make a lemonade that she is willing now to share with others that are facing disappointment, trauma, loss, and pain. This book will also lift you beyond situations to get a glimpse of what God can do above and beyond what we can even imagine. It’s a testimony to faithfulness, perseverance, and hope as it brings the focus back to the only source of these things, Jesus.
Life Choice Ministries-Debbie Phillips
After hearing Diana’s story, I knew this was an important story that needed to be told. The sacrifices that had to be made to follow where the truth led was painful yet exhilarating. Her journey of listening to the voice inside was not the easy path. Diana’s tenacity pushed her through that answered life altering questions. Truth wins!
FOREWARD
Many are the afflictions of the righteous. But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Psalm 34:19
There are many roads that one takes in this journey called life. Each path gives us insight and wisdom accompanied by pain, sorrow, and sometimes confusion. It is the wisdom of God that walks this life with us and gives us ears to hear and eyes to see. Thank God for His mercy!
In my life I have realized there are two major ways that one gains wisdom and understanding.
The first is education; lessons learned by studying and gathering information brings the student a working knowledge of life, most often without the experience that may accompany this factual information. As we garner more details we know
more about the subject, person, area etc.
The second is experience; the things that happen to us and around us that can change the course of our lives because of the face to face encounter with people and circumstances. When I first met Diana Rogers I learned she had both working in her life. The education was evident, and one knew that she was learned and knowledgeable. But there was also a depth of wisdom she possessed through the many things she experienced. The loss of a marriage and tremendous trials through a debilitating accident could have taken her in many directions. Because of the Grace and Mercy of Almighty God she has found comfort, healing and a hands-on
knowing in the Lord Jesus. To be around her is to know that she is always encouraging and supportive of others, wanting them to succeed in life.
You will find that as you read Days of Plunder
that out of some heart-wrenching pain and disappointment there come lessons shared that are both piercing and quite thorough in experiencing the Grace of God.
But I urge you; walk slowly through these pages so as to receive all the Lord might have for you. There is a reason why you are reading this, and God will use this as a tool in the shaping of your heart and life. What Diana has shared will cause freedom and strength that is borne from having lived through the experience and freely sharing it with all.
Your heart and head will be challenged, and your life changed as you allow the words to speak to your heart. The Lord will use that to adjust, heal, and focus you on the life He has given you.
My dear friend has found some golden nuggets
of wisdom that she has felt compelled to share for the purpose of freeing others. I believe she has succeeded!

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
In appreciation of so many who have helped me along my journey. You have probably met and known many different people in your life. Most simply by acquaintances, while others you might consider friends. Then there is one, as Proverbs 18:24 says, that sticks with you closer than a brother
. This is one who has listened to you, opened their heart and hand to help you. They stood relentless, and painstakingly gave hours of time and efforts to see you accomplish the vision and calling of the dreams God has set before you. It is with the greatest and deepest of heartfelt gratitude, I wish to give thanks and appreciation to my Jonathan, that God has given me in my friend, Nancy Cunningham. Where would I be Nancy, if it weren’t for all the loving prayers, support, and assistance in all I have come through for so many years?
Nancy, I am so grateful for the many hours you have spent working alongside me editing, critiquing, being supportive of me, and most all for being my trusted friend. Words cannot begin to express my appreciation for and to you. Above all things for being a godly woman and precious friend in my life.
Pastor Rick Smail, and his wife Terrie, who has reviewed this manuscript (several times). He has offered editorial comments, and honest critiques. He has been so supportive of me during the trials and challenges I have faced. You both are so appreciated in being not only supportive and friends, but for being true representatives of God.
Much love and thank you to my daughter, Michelle, who has helped me through so much, always standing by me through the many crisis times and trouble. So faithful to help me when all was so desperately difficult to come through. A heartfelt thank you to Bec Hunter, who has been there so many times for me as a true friend. She has always been supportive, loving, and caring. Penny Willing, what would I do without your friendship, encouragement and moral support. Thank you for standing by me in so many ways. Countless times you have watched God work all things to the good in the craziness of my life. I am so blessed with many friends thank you all for praying, caring, and being a part of my life.
And thanks to the many medical teams, surgeons, nurses, caregivers and various staff who all have lovingly given to assist me. To my attorney, and his staff, who spent endless hours of support and efforts to make certain my needs were being met, thank you.
Thank you to those who have prayed for my recovery and been supportive in their love and remembrances of me in prayer. The Intercessor teams of so many different churches during this prolonged recovery; thank you for your continued faithfulness to pray for me as I am writing this book. Words cannot begin to express to all the depth of gratitude felt toward each of you for taking the time in remembrance of my many needs.
Last but not least, with heartfelt appreciation for their time and efforts I want to acknowledge my entire team at Life Rich Publishing. A special thank
