Dedication
I would like to dedicate this book to all the celibate women and men that are waiting to be married. Stay strong, hold on and wait for your Boaz or Ruth. Always put God first in your life and your path will cross with your future husband or wife in Jesus name. God has someone special for you. Just be patient and live a Godly lifestyle. May God be with you. Continue to obey God. I am in agreement with you, that your significant other, is on the way. Thank you from sowing into my life.
I will also like to take the pleasure of dedicating this book to someone very special to me, whose touch made the book. And all the thanks to my heavenly father from inspiring me to write the book. I love you Father which art in Heaven. Without you, I could not have done it. I came to you with my heart full, and this is how you told me to resolve it. Writing is good therapy.
Chemistry (relationship)
by Wikipedia
In the context of relationships, chemistry is a simple emotion
that two people get when they share a special connection. It is not necessarily sexual. It is the impulse making one think I need to see this [other] person again
- that feeling of we click.
It is very early in one’s relationship that they can intuitively work out whether they have positive or negative chemistry.
Chapter One
Connecting
It was the beginning of the Summer of 2016, when Marquetta Smith walked into The Little Bears Learn to Swim Center. She had her daughter Ladeva with her to register her for swimming lessons. Coach Davis was one of the Instructor’s there. Rashard was his first name, but everyone called him Coach Davis. He was six feet tall, thin, with a dark chocolate skin tone. He was thirty years old and very handsome.
Elaine which is the front desk clerk, walked Marquetta and Ladeva to Coach Davis class where there were nineteen other children in the swim class. The children were all different ages. Marquette was very beautiful, and Coach Davis eyes lit up at the sight of her. He greeted Marquetta with a gentle hand shake. It is my pleasure to meet you,
he said. Likewise
, said Marquetta. Marquetta is a very curvy lady around five feet tall with a red skin tone. She is forty-seven years old but looks like she is twenty-five. She has naturally long black hair.
Ladeva got into the water with the rest of the swim class. It was four life guards in the water with the children and two standing outside the pool. Ladeva was seven years old with two long black pigtail braids, and she was the skin tone of her mother. Ladeva has slanted eyes just like her father and she is very pretty. She made friends very fast and she is very polite.
The pool was 52 meters by 23 meters. It was other coaches and swim classes in the pool practicing lap swimming. Some were more advance swimmers than others. It was a Green Team that was the most advance team. A yellow team that was right under the Green Team. And a Pink Team, which was the Learn to Swim class that Coach Davis teaches.
Coach Davis has been working at, The Little Bears learn to Swim Center, for two years. He teaches a tenth grade math class at Kevin’s Clam High school for five years now and he also works at a club at night, setting up tables for parties in the summer time. During tax season, him and his friend, John worked together at, ‘Two Brothers Taxes," that they owned for three years. Coach Davis takes classes on Mondays and Wednesday at the Carter’s College taking up Business Management, which this semester he will be finish. He does not attend church anywhere at this time, but he faithfully reads his bible and prays to God.
After the swim lesson was over with, Marquetta took Ladeva by the hand, and they got into the car and she drove off in her hot pink Lexus RX 350, that she paid forty-three thousand dollars of cash for. When they arrived home, Marquetta had her maid Debbie to put on a big pot of chicken soup. It was Marquetta’s famous recipe with shredded chicken, carrots, yellow squash, cabbage, sweet potatoes, zucchini, four ounces of tomatoes sauce, an ounce of picante sauce and one lemon. It is very delicious. Debbie was release to go home after the dishes was washed up and Marquetta and Ladeva ate.
Marquetta tucked Ladeva in bed, then went into her office to do some writing. She was a writer for the Spring Mountain Magazine Company.
Her office is set up in her dining room of her two bed room deluxe apartment. She had moved there to be close to her job. Marquetta love her peace, quite, and alone time when she got ready to write. Her house was designed with her work all around it like an exhibit in an art gallery. She had two glass displays set up. One was with dolls wearing all the crochet dresses she had made, and the other one is filled with all the magazines she had her columns in from her job. It was models pictures all over the wall in her office that she took with her camera. They were also modeling the crochet outfits she designed. In the living room was large posters of the cover page of Spring Mountain Magazine,
from each edition. Marquetta love the warm feeling of her apartment. It was her place of work and home. She was very fond of it.
It has been three months now, and Ladeva was really getting great with her swimming. She really enjoys her swimming class. Coach Davis is a really good teacher. Ladeva always arrived to class early so she can watch the Green Team,
swim. She watched them, Breaststroke, Backstroke, and Butterfly stroke. She would watch them until it was time for her swim class to start. Ladeva made lots of friends in her swim class. Coach Davis had to tell her to quit playing so much, one time during class time.
Coach Davis is renting a two-bedroom townhouse on the opposite side of town from, The Little Bears Learn to Swim Center.
He moves around quite a bit going from job to job. He doesn’t have a lot of time for fun or dating. He has been celibate for going on a year now. He has been living his life according to the bible and been doing really good. On Sunday’s he stays in and catch up on all the football games.
Marquetta was sitting on top of the yellow bleachers, watching Ladeva in her swim class. She was amazed on how well Ladeva was to swimming. After swim class was over, the girl and boy’s locker room was filled with the children showering and changing back into their clothes. Coach Davis walked up and shook Marquetta’s hand very softly looking into her eyes smiling really big, and said, "I’m getting ready to
