ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
To my creator, my source of inspiration, whom i was guided
To my beloved mother, who gave me birth
To my dear wife, who gave her loving support
To my children, to whom i dedicate my all
To my friends for their support, and encouragement
To my agent whose direction, and wisdom i rely on
To my editor, my son for his deligent work
To my publisher who gave me the opportunity as a new writer.
This book is not to be taken out of context or to be missunderstood. It is not intended to be vulgar or to depict any thing evil or should i say negative. At the same it is a reality that should not be ignored due to its common use. Changing the word may change the meaning as well as its impact. The main thing i suggest is that you focus on the meaning.
I had no intentions on revealing the sources, who said it, or the date that it orginated. That would take a lot more time and research. I’m more concerned here with the meaning, or the message in the saying. Nor do i want to explain what the saying’s mean. I want the reader to use his or her mind to understand them. Like a joke, it’s not funny if you have to explain it.
PREFACE
As we grow older we grow wiser
How many times a day when we speak, do we use old sayings to communicate or to get our point across to someone? How many times a day, do we hear other people using them to communicate or to get their point across to us? Just in everyday conversation, there’s not a day that goes by that this doesn’t occur. It’s big in avertisment and sales.
These sayings remain in our subconcious for years. We used them over and over randomly. Some we learn from our parents, friends, relatives, co-workers, tv, and books. Some we learn from people we don’t even know. Some we make up ourselves and be known for saying such, rather it made sense or not. Unconciously when we’re communicating we’re constantly using them and constantly picking them up. The power that these sayings have is awakening. The realization, the truth, the knowledge, and the wisdom we receive from them are astonishing. The humor in some of these sayings will make you laugh and then comes the wisdom. The curosity allows you to think, to imagaine, to use your own experiences, and ablilties to seek their true meaning.
This book’s intention is to bring all these sayings together collectively to be used as a reference. To give some meaning and understanding to those who don’t know. To be a form of education from the interpretations of the wisdom that’s in the book. To create growth and development in the minds.
