Pierce Baggett

Farahana Surya Kassam is a single mother to her 5 year old son who inspires her to write children's books on topics that are close to her heart that she feels are important for young children. She teaches mindfulness and feels it is an important practice for all ages. The ability to stay focused on the present moment has helped deal with difficult and challenging situations, reduce stress and anxiety, and cope with trauma and pain bringing about a internal healing which she believes is imperative for social and emotional growth in all of us.
