    INTRODUCTION

    Y OUNG PEOPLE, HOW would you like to become a champion in life? I know this is a hypothetical question, but I must ask this question because based on my personal observation, in this day and time, individuals tend to deliberately sabotage their own lives. How, you ask? By acts such as having sex at an early age, having unprotected sex, abusing drugs and alcohol, committing violent acts such as bullying, dropping out of school, senseless killings, gang banging, and the list goes on an d on.

    An overwhelming percentage of individuals between the ages of 12 and 17 lack the personal desire and the commitment to obtain a better life for themselves. They seem to not have respect for themselves or for others. It is also a harsh reality that the majority of the overcrowded prisons in the United States are overflowing with individuals, both male and female, as young as 21 years old.

    It is my personal belief that the major reason for these catastrophic actions are due to the lack of making good decisions. It is my
