    It is such an important gift we each have but unfortunately, very few people explore it and use it fully. Even fewer recognize its power to transform their lives. Potential won’t be much use unless it is activated and optimised.

    Fulfilling your potential is your business and one that you would do well to take it seriously. It’s what will make your life rich and meaningful, it’s what will enable you come into your own, demonstrate what you’re made of and reach your strongest personal growth and professional advancement.

    When you leave your potential untapped you will easily be stalled by circumstances and perform beneath what you are capable of instead of harnessing your innate qualities to leap and soar at your highest capability.

    Living your full potential is a lifelong journey of pursuing actions that will stir you up to live an inspired life, to rise with possibilities and to keep your dreams and aspirations transformational.

    HEALTHY SELF-BELIEF

    Chapter 1

    Trust in your potential

    Potential is simply what you are capable of doing, becoming the best you that you can be. Living up to your potential must be driven by you and that means you have to have absolute faith in your abilities.

    Other people can facilitate and support you in your bid to live up to your full potential but the journey to your peak state must be led by you. You have to be in the driving seat to discovering and applying yourself to live your fullest life.

    Living up to your full potential will not happen by chance. You’ll have to be self aware, know what your strengths and passions are and take deliberate action to unearth harness and maximise that potential.

    Your potential is latent and needs to be given life. It’ll not kick immediately into gear when you are ready to deploy it at a higher level. You’ll have to nurture it and polish it as you would a rough diamond so that it can shine.

    It takes courage to commit to doing what will make your potential blossom because it’ll take you on a journey of consistently stepping out of your comfort zone. Don’t waste another second in letting yourself step into the fullest version of who you really could be.

    Living your potential is a process of self-discovery that will last your lifetime and enable you lead a rich, meaningful and purposeful life. It’s a process of exploration and experimentation and creating what inspires you.

    It starts with identifying your unique gifts and abilities, essentially where your strengths lie, ‘’exercising’’ them and putting yourself in the right space for your strengths to bloom, your brilliance to emerge and your destiny to be fulfilled.

    There is no magic bullet that leads you to your full potential. It’s about stopping the self-limiting game, stretching yourself, evolving and improving, identifying patterns in your behaviour that hold you back and opening doors for yourself to higher thresholds of performance.

    Create a clear vision statement

    Too many people focus on what they don’t want instead of what they do. But without determining what you want you’ll be spending all your energies preventing what you don’t want instead of pursuing what you want. Create a vision of what you want in your life and make that happen.

    Get clearer about your desires and motivations and capture them in a way that inspires you and then work out how you’ll achieve them. Being clear about what you want will help you develop the positive mindset and make conscious decisions that will enable you gain your goals.

    Your vision statement should capture your picture of your ideal future and should be compelling enough for you to be energized to do what it’ll take to get there. Having a carefully articulated vision will be a roadmap to guide you and make it more likely that you’ll achieve what you desire.

    Spend some time to identify the distinctive ways that you will accomplish your vision. Avoid thinking only about what a leap it might take to get to your big goals because it’ll get you stuck. Focus on what you want to attain
