About this ebook

This book amplifies and exemplifies what God has spoken that came to pass. It is to help you see God not in a new dimension but in his original dimensionthe one that speaks and comes to pass; the one that speaks and follows through; the covenant keeper, the unchanging changer. This book is to guide you methodically and carefully to listen to the Word of God, the promises of God and to see it, not only unfold in your personal life but to see it fulfilled, because once he has spoken, it will come to pass. That is why he says with emphasis and clarity, The grass withers, the flower fades: but the Word of our God shall stand forever.

Chapter one helps you to understand the legitimacy, the power, and the credibility in the Word of our God. Chapter two showcases and authenticates what God has done particularly through Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, and others. Chapter three is the icing on the cake, what God did for Ishmael, because of the value he puts on his Word and power and authority behind it. Chapter four shows how God speaks so that you can distill his promises for yourself. Chapter five details why God speaks. Chapter six is concerned with how you can benefit, maximize, and apply the Word of God to your life. Chapter seven is to help you sing Hallelujah over the situations of your life, when you can see that with God, all things are possible.

The purpose of this book is to encourage you to crave to hear the Word of God for your situation. Once God has spoken to your situation, consider it done. No matter how hopeless, helpless, disappointing, unexplainable, or discouraging the situation may be, whatever he has spoken shall come to pass.

    PROMISE FULFILLED!

    22946.png

"So the Lord gave to Israel all the land he had sworn to give their ancestors, and they took possession of it and settled there. And the Lord gave them rest on every side, just as he had solemnly promised their ancestors. None of their enemies could stand against them, for the Lord helped them conquer all their enemies. Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true." Joshua the son of Nun

    PREFACE

    22956.png

Imagine a mother with eight children all of them one year apart in age crowding around her. Each one of them making a demand simultaneously:

    ‘Mummy, I need my candy,’

‘Mummy, I want my hot chocolate’

    ‘Mummy, my leg hurts’

    ‘Mummy, I want to sleep,’

    ‘Mummy, Tom is beating me’

    ‘Mummy, I am hungry’

‘Mummy, I need help with my homework’

‘Mummy, when are you taking me to the park to play.’

    ‘Mummy this, mummy that!’

What do you think will be the response of this worn out and wearied out mother?

More so when this is repeated day and night. I could hear her caving in under this severe pressure and screaming at the top of her voice.

‘Children can you just stop it! Can’t you talk one after the other? How many ears do you think I have? Don’t you know you are driving me crazy!’

Now imagine God with over seven billion people in the world. Do you know what seven billion looks like when expanded: 7,000,000,000 and all the people making a demand on God simultaneously? Yet God never yelled at us once, but rather takes His time to attend to each one of us from nation to nation and continent to continent and at different time zones. You wonder how I know? The Scripture says ‘He that keeps Israel does not sleep or slumber’

I am yet to meet a person who does not acknowledge what God has done for him or her.

Even the atheists and agnostics who may not verbally do that will surely acknowledge that in all their supposed wisdom they did not make themselves, or give birth to themselves. I am sure that at one time or another they would have appreciated their parents, thereby appreciating God indirectly.

We should ask ourselves, how does God do things or how does He function? How does God hear our prayers and meet our needs? Since we are created in the image and likeness of God we need to function like him. We have the capacity to do things the way God does them:

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Hebrews 11:3

Everything we see today was spoken into existence. Everything we see today was made from things unseen. All of what we see today is proof that something can be spoken into existence. God spoke all things into existence but he formed man, which puts man in a different category on earth.

This book amplifies and exemplifies what God has spoken that came to pass. It is to help you see God not in a new dimension but his original dimension; the one that speaks and it comes to pass. The one that speaks and follows through. The covenant keeper, the unchanging changer. This book is to guide you methodically and carefully to listen to the word of God, the promises of God and to see it not only unfold in your personal life but to see it fulfilled because once He has spoken it will come to pass. That is why He says with emphasis and clarity.

    CHAPTER ONE

The Authenticity, Credibility and The Power of The Word of God

    22962.png

"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." Isaiah 40:9

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it" Isaiah 55:11.

An old lady returned home from a church service to find an intruder in the process of ransacking her house. Stop! she yelled. Acts 2:38! (Which says, Repent?) The burglar stopped dead while the old lady called the police. As he handcuffed the burglar, the officer asked, How come you just stood there? All the old lady did was quote a Bible verse. A Bible verse? the thief replied. She said she had an axe and two .38s!

It is difficult to capture and caption what is really in my mind and write it down. Thinking of what God has put it in my heart and trying to find words to express it make me to know that language is limited, particularly the English language. Maybe I would have been able to express it better in my language but you probably may struggle to read it and not be able to comprehend it unless you speak my language. And tell me, what is the purpose of the word that is read and could not be understood and hence cannot be applied?

What I am trying to say is that the word of God whether logos or Rhema, written or spoken, is powerful, as demonstrated by the illustration above.

The word of God is authentic, potent; credible; once spoken it shall come to pass, as expressed by several references in the Bible. The word of God has ability, capacity, it’s embedded with power. Now practically speaking, the word of God is the main source of daily power for each and every follower of Jesus Christ. The word of God is the ultimate source for the perfection of the human spirit in His creation, culminating in the consummate essence for the true worship of the Lord Almighty. That is why he
