About this ebook

In 2 Timothy 2:15, we are commanded to study the Word of God. More than following a command, however, a close relationship with God comes from a sincere desire to know Him and His Word better. It is only through close and repeated study of the Bible that we can have revelation.

Scott writes about his insightful and thought-provoking journey through the Bible and shares the keys to his stronger and informative faith-based relationship with God. The Genesis series encourages all to take their time and study the Word of God for themselves. Included are many scriptures as his biblical proof for his newfound revelation, thus confirming the Word of God by the Word of God. As you read his book, he asks that you search each included scripture for yourself and let God’s Spirit lead you through a unique, inspirational, and informative time of revelation.

    Who Is God?

First, I would like to say that knowing God only comes through a constant and daily relationship with Him. It is like getting to know a person; you only know them by spending time together and through the process of time. As I was writing this book, I knew it would be hard for some to comprehend and understand the statements and claims that are made and are written within these Genesis series of books. Because I knew this would be the case, I have done my best to explain and clarify that which has been given to me in revelation. I wish to share, wherever possible, the hidden messages written within the Word of God.

Before writing the second book of this series, I prayed and sought God for His all-knowing wisdom and guidance because it is He who has been directing my life as I proceed in this new aspect of my life and it is He who has given to me this newfound revelation.

Also, you may notice that I use the words Holy Spirit and Holy Ghost a lot because the two words are synonymous with each other and are interchangeable in the Bible and, when spoken of in society, mean the same entity or power of God. Having said this early on should prevent confusion as I use both words throughout the book. It is not that I want to confuse anyone; it is just how this series has been written and was the best choice or description for the context at the time of writing. Many will understand the Holy Spirit and, others, the Holy Ghost based upon their scriptural doctrine and belief.

Let me start off by saying that because of many centuries of teaching and indoctrination of religion, some will find this book to be the opposite of what they have always been taught. Rest assured, I, too, had trouble accepting this revelation as well. However, my eyes were opened—my spiritual eyes—that which I received when I was born again on January 19, 1995. However, I felt compelled and led by the Holy Spirit to share this information and the facts which are spoken of in the Word of God. As a matter of fact, those who have been indoctrinated into thinking a certain way about the Bible may gain a new and insightful understanding of the Word of God. I have neither changed the Word nor do I intend to. All I want to do is to help open the eyes of the reader so they may understand the same revelation that I received.

Furthermore, there may be those who will reject this book series and the statements made herein. Personally, I believe we all are subject to rejection, acceptance, and scrutiny. That is why I use many different scriptures as a means of substantiating my claims throughout this series of books.

Over this last year, I have spent many hours praying and writing about these revelations throughout this second book of the series. My intentions are to get others involved in studying the Bible as I have so they may have the same opportunities to share and present God’s plan with their families, friends, and counterparts. For this reason, I spent many hours researching, praying, and painstakingly working to put together the most comprehensive thinking and accurate work about the revelations of God’s Word.

First, let me say that this author admits that he is not perfect and will never be; however, the Bible is 100 percent perfect and true. That is the reason why I have included so many scriptures in this literary work. Also, I will always strive to do my best to enlighten the reader and will always present the Word of God as it is written. As you may notice, I will take the time and space necessary to present my findings and will take care to present them as God has revealed them to me over the years.

One thing I should mention: The truths of God’s plan for humanity were already written in the Bible long ago; and I did not, nor will I, challenge those truths. However, those truths have only been revealed to those who would listen, and God knew that they would not only benefit others but also enlightened the ones He chose to reveal the mysteries of heaven too. I will even go as far as saying that God knew the very crux of the problem and even mentioned these issues several times throughout the ages, long before the Bible was written in its entirety.

Since God already knew the reasons and even mentioned them several times previously in the scriptures, He must have decided to let the people walk around blindly in their knowledge of His Word for at least the time being. We see this in both Jeremiah and Ezekiel. And to better understand God’s reasoning for doing this, we must look at what He said to the people through others.

Our first clue comes from reading the book of Jeremiah where God called the people foolish and without understanding (Jeremiah 5:21). Why would God call them foolish, and what does He mean? As I, too, began to search for the answers, I discovered that the word foolish is defined in Webster’s Dictionary as having or showing a lack of good sense, judgment, or discretion.

In this passage of scripture in the book of Jeremiah, we read that God was speaking to the house of Israel by using a proxy—Jeremiah the prophet. He was letting the people know that He made the decision to remove His blessings from the people and why He decided to let Israel continue with their transgresses. Let me say that God has never turned His back on anyone, or at least I cannot find an instance in the scriptures where He has done so—neither in the garden of Eden nor at the time of the great flood. No. Not one instance has been recorded of God doing so in the Old Testament. Our second clue to God’s judgment on them was when God called them a rebellious house (group of people) (Ezekiel 12:2). God was not just speaking to a small group of people in a house. No, He was speaking to an entire nation when He called them a rebellious house.

My interest was piqued, and I started to search the scriptures for these and many other answers. Why would God lump all of Israel together as a rebellious people? I am sure that there were some people who were doing that which God required of them. I can say this with confidence because ever since the beginning, God has always had at least one person that chose to obey Him and His Word. Also, I don’t believe that God judged those faithful with the rest of the nation, but because they were a part of that nation, they, too, suffered the consequences of that nation. God is no respecter of persons, and He does not show favoritism toward anyone in particular, and sometimes because of our association with
