About this ebook

Faithwalkers comprises a collection of poems addressing those desirous of walking in faith. Long ago, the one who became the father of faith defi ned the Faithwalker and set the bar for all of those who would subsequently lay claim to having faith. A poem about him lies
within. Faithwalkers appeals to a wide audience of inter-denominational people of faith who may or may not be at the top of their respective walks or ministries in Christ as yet. For those uncertain in their current walks, the inherent hope is to awaken them. For the verage Faithwalker (find out if you are a person of faith) the hope is to stimulate them to go on to greater heights in their faith. For those of invincible faith, those who walk at the apex of their ministries, the hope is to encourage them in their daily challenges. Any given poem may have the anointing of the Holy Spirit to be the prompter to uplift the Faithwalker in general. For those who do not have a faith, or those who may be weak or burnt out in their faith, the greatest hope of all is to ignite them once again. Finally, for any without faith, Faithwalkers will offer a call to become a Faithwalker.

Frederick Mundle

Frederick Mundle adds his third book of poetry entitled Naked Christians to his list of Christian publications with Xlibris. He addresses elements within the body of professing Christians which require being called out. His hope is to awaken the naked who do not realize that they walk about without the clothing of Christ. His desire combines the alerting and converting the otherwise spiritually dead to awaken them to eternal life in Christ. Most self-professing Christians do not realize that they parade around spiritually naked, not being clothed with Christ. It is Frederick's hope to through the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name to raise the spiritually dead before they actually physically die. There is no eternal life with Christ unless the foregoing occurs.

    The Fifth Cradle

Before the crib became His bed

    Mary cradled Jesus’ head

And long before her heart made room

She cradled Christ within her womb

Believing Him she showed that she

    Must go beyond maternity

    To indicate within her heart

That Christ as Lord was set apart

Thus we see that Jesus’ mother

    Was required as any other

To know the One the Father sent

And from her sins likewise repent

Since no exception will there be

The same applies to you and me

Our Saviour born on Christmas Day

Had come to die to lead the way

Counting cradles from womb to wood

To Mary’s arms and heart for good

You as a fifth when you make place

Are born again through saving grace

    Only the Dead Survive

At birth we are dead to the words Jesus said

Though baptized, not one’s born again

When salvation occurs God’s Spirit indwells

New life makes us dead to the world

Infant baptism’s just for the world

Since there’s nothing a baby can say

But when we can decide to take Christ inside

Then Jesus can have his way

When we are born we are dead

But we can still come alive

By giving our hearts to Jesus

As dead to the world we survive.

    Only the dead survive

When they die with Christ in their hearts

    Only the dead survive

When the soul from the body departs

    Some may whine and complain

When they reach the next plain

    Unsaved before they arrive

From the fires down in hell

They will all know too well

    Only the dead survive

    Tolerance

    tolerance rejects

    the Saviour sent

    to die upon the cross

    tolerance denies

    all that he meant

so all he said is loss

    tolerance decries

    the age old cross

    it so misses the point

    tolerance burns

    the blood-stained wood

now time is out of joint

    tolerance calls

    our Christ to bless

    unholy ways, unrighteousness

    crucify him

    tolerance cries

just one more time before our eyes

tolerance is a cross in ashes

    Christ Has Come

Isaiah said the Christ to come would be Immanuel,

God with us, and Gabriel would soon to Joseph tell

That Jesus would we call Him; he told Mary as well

From Bethlehem, His place of birth, Micah indicated

The ruler of Israel, the King anticipated
