About this ebook
Romando James
I started writing at the age of seventeen. This is when the first novel was written, but not published. I grew up in Elizabeth City North Carolina and came from a large family. At twenty-one writing was my mental escape and I spent quite a few years creating poems. My goal has been working on getting my writings published for a long time. I would like to thank my all my family and friends who believed in my work. They’ve seen me go through ups and downs and I have never lost faith in myself. I would also like to thank my deceased wife Dahl A. Banks, because she gave me the title for my poems.

Something’s, that are true,
may just! Come through Blue.
But don’t give up the part that really you,
time becomes additive, as you learn to do
From the start man has wondered,
how true love melts the coldest heart.
We’ve tried everything to stay our distance,
to keep dreams apart.
Now like a mirror that reflects an image of what’s there,
people running, seeking all they feel is fair.
Keeping up in the game is somewhat a dare,
playing by rules,
getting lost in its care.
How can you (mess) up the air,
spreading lies and confusion. Everywhere.
Will it ever come to a fact that the things we do come right back.
Man do you ever think (Life) is still judge on thought,
like you’re white and I’m black.
In the world some people still believe in the separate track.
Rags and Riches
Where some are from,
