Changed once again
Here I am again, my strength regained,
My body still in pain
I may never know what I need to know,
To keep myself as sane
This I’ve found when no treasures were around,
And I feel slightly sad
Hidden in plain sight, ridden in plain fright
The world was all I had
Pursued with slain might, haunted from hailed heights,
My fate forever sealed,
Endured worldly wrath, the one endless path,
No more to be revealed
Could I go back to cope with fact,
Or have I surrendered?
There’s this feeling inside that won’t subside,
It can’t be remembered.
I rehearse the past while the curse does last,
For another eternity
We meet the end too fast as the die is cast,
An endless slavery
Another End to Disaster
Meaningless exits all lined in a row,
Another failure while expectations do grow,
Never allowing another, always fending for self,
Giving up is never considered, struggle on without help,
A last effort of our dying breed,
Controlled from everlasting, the law is decreed,
On we go, fatal memories consumed,
Mastering worthlessness, the true journey resumed,
Into our homes, violence now retreats,
Cowering masters now stand in the heat.
Singled out as we crowd the earth,
Disaster means nothing, disregarded in its worth.
Feigned Frontier
It arrived as a suggestion, but suggestions are bare
The few who stand now stand in thoughtful care.
Over many was implemented what was firstly seen,
And now the many are vanished, the world further cleaned.
It arrived without warning, but warnings seldom help
All the good that remains, remains within ourselves
Our world breathers peacefully; now that they are passed.
It lasted an instant, an instant which did last.
Where the suggestion took birth it may never be clear,
But the earth is healed, heaven is already here.
And of the many who perish, we find not a trace,
Seemingly a blessing, of unworldly grace.
Ease and Woe
The past did not last and neither can the moment,
Assured of doom; steadily nearing the present.
This isn’t a game, this is reality and you’re going to be bit by it
You’ll soon see the truer reasons and bit by bit buy it
We tend to forget who we are sometimes,
In trying to make the impossible happen,
We breach the limit and time’s left behind
Journeys and ventures omitted without reasons
Between the rights, between the wrongs,
We stand and gather, feeble and strong
Not much left to do now that we soar,
The flight, perilous and in control
How are we to take back what was ours,
The meanings have dissolved
When are we going to find ourselves?
Endless problems stand unresolved
We have to make arrangements,
So we can gain some ground
Else we’ll be searching around
Through endless circles that abound
It’s not perfect it’s not what is right
But it is all that has come in sight.
Fight for somebody else
Walking this road, the only one that’s been showed,
Expecting to be more than ourselves
Battle-plans made but no hope to be saved,
We don’t think because we think it helps
Erasing the line between man and time,
We do it all once again
Our wrongs are right and that’s why we fight,
Belief blinds out all pain.
Some lose some win all our prospects are grim,
As consequences slowly take their toll
No rest to be found, when the rest are around
Pacify ourselves to reach our goals
We seem to have died, emptied out from inside,
Yet we live and fight for today
The war is never-ending, we’re all just pretending,
As mercy never comes our way
We fight amongst and against,
Taking leave of all sense
We fight for reasons unknown,
Hatred has steadily grown
While we fight for somebody else,
Why fight for somebody else?
Lost as words
The world opens through gateways unknown,
Stuck in nowhere and time has flown
We’ve all tried but efforts were wasted,
Walk we did but our pace was bested
We fell all along the long and lonesome way,
Ever-thirsty for cures to the hollow gray
We seem to have wasted our forevers
Dreaming, planning but enacting; never
And now they say our time is short,
Everything’s deemed to perish, left with no worth
Only a few do actually live, forever watched by others,
tracing fading footprints, true meanings undiscovered
Conflict reigns supreme, deep within our selves,
Never subdued, not satiated with all the wealth
And so we go on, one day to the next
We’ll go on and on till there’s nothing left.
Echoes in Essence
Restrictions over-riding, while the world laughs away
In darkness water’s rising, butterflies’ wings turn gray
Still unmovable silence, the stillness is here to stay
Seeking but never finding, what’s lost was the only way
Complications ever-rising, mistakes made yesterday
The gap in understanding, care not; come what may
Hope’s not gone altogether, bits and pieces left to stay,
This long road out of nowhere, it’s leading us astray
But now the songs do sing, riding horses with broken wings,
I forget what has happened and give in to worldly things.
A Pretence presumably Lost
Take me to a place where songbirds still sing,
And happiness is not such an unreal thing.
Where all hope still remains,
And living isn’t just a losing game.
Where the end is never in sight,
Existing only within our minds,
Where darkness only
