      As the daylight bows

      Then softly says goodbye

      CHAPTER ONE

      Atmospheres of Love

      Dusting Me Off

      ~

      she stumbles across me lying here,

      lifts me up with her gentle grasp,

      dusting me off to take a look,

      drops of her tears rinsing me

      with the love from her eyes,

      ages of forgotten dirt roll off,

      these new droplets of passion

      moisten my dried existence,

      life emerges once more,

      I breathe the sun, I taste the air,

      I feel her touch and her warmth

      as I stretch and begin to exhale,

      my body stiff loosens

      remembering how to move,

      life slowly returning to my limbs,

      her touch sending electric surges

      to dead nerves and parched skin,

      replaced with subtlety

      from her soft caress,

      I come alive with her touch

      from my hibernation so deep

      her love reviving my soul

      where my life was asleep.
