About this ebook

Romance, Obsession, and Imagination.
This book expresses the poet's romantic thoughts and admiration of a person they have an unquenchable crush on. The poet is not a very direct person and they use metaphors, riddles, and many other language tricks to embody what they intend to say to their crush.

In the poem, "The Dream", the poet talks about watching the earth flood as they sit at the brink of the cumulonimbus, but as the poet continues through the poem it unravels to the reader that the poet is not talking about a real flood or cumulonimbus, instead the poet uses all those meteorological terms as a way to censor their sexual imagination.

The poet expresses their thoughts in this book because they never had the chance to tell their crush how they feel. Their only regret is not having the courage to express their feelings to the one that they admired unconditionally.

To my crush:

From the first day, I saw you in that cafeteria, eating chicken tenders and fries, I knew I was gonna love you forever. Not a day passes by without me thinking about you. These are some of my thoughts...

I'm in too deep

I used to think that a heart made of steel

Is not ductile and lustrous

I used to think that a durable granite rock

Can never desquamate

I used to think that a hateful person like me

Can never fall in love

All those thoughts were in vain

Now I'm in too deep

Right from the second, I saw you

I knew nothing was gonna be the same

That smile, those lips, those
