About this ebook
Were you ever young and in love while shy and unsure? This collection, hidden for decades, affirms the struggles of a young woman. Adults may perhaps feel silly about past love and drama. Why hide life or deny it? Be strong, lost, torn, sad, and hopeful with these poems when love and life collide.
Lucia Diamond
My poetry possesses a style that can offer different interpretations for readers. Gathering collections of certain poems provides words, thoughts, and ideas to inspire all of us to connect. Capturing the positivity of life and exploring hardships may allow people to escape reality, remember experiences, and wish for the future. Writing is my version of shyness that hopefully will transform doubt into hope and joy.

Fathom Your Heart - Lucia Diamond
Will
It has become harder
With each new day
For me to find
My way
Disappointment
Frustration
Some failures
Cannot stop the depression
Hard to believe
In myself and others
Why cannot I live
Up to my expectations
I possess a heart of gold
Will give my time
To anyone
To make a difference
Still there is no change
Every day I awake
Feel overwhelmed
Always a new mistake
Perhaps I will
Never deserve
A life full of
Fulfilled dreams
The way I live my life
The way I act
Talk and love
No one understands what I mean
Can no one see how
I strive to be
Someone who is real and loves
To bring joy to others
I try every way I know how
To be better
Patient
And live with purpose
I fall down each time
But always
On my own
Pick myself up again
In time
Through life
I will
Make a difference
Only have myself
To believe in me
Even though I do not think
I am much
Will be worthy
Of any
Type of
Happiness
I hope I can bring
Some good to someone
Who will
