Dr. Victor Mebele holds P.HD in Theology, Diploma in private investigation and agricultural science respectively. He is currently the senior pastor of Global House of Prayer Curacao, in the Caribbean. He also authored Locate Your Adversary, The Secret of Answered Prayers, Living Successfully, Let Go, We Can, Yes We Can, Show Me Your Friend and Silent No More. We are living in a sin-sake society where the wicked seems to prosper while the children of God live in poverty, sometimes considered as Christian virtue. Unfortunately, this great lie has become entrenched in our minds, becoming a stronghold, so much so that even many incisive and inspirational writings and preachings are embraced in disbelief. Our place of dominance as children of God is being challenged. Are Christians ordained to rule and reign? Can Christians’ rule be a reality in the real world?

Many scholarly theological writings may have addressed these issues in one way or another, but the heart of a pastor compassionately sharing the truth of the gospel with real life experiences in ministry can make a difference. For simplicity and relevance to our everyday life, You are Created to Rule and Reign: Arise Now is the book for you.

As you embark on a journey of discovery reading this book, it will be noted that you were born a king to rule and to reign. But does kingship comes with responsibilities? Yes, the scriptures bring to fore our rights and responsibilities. It is said in Genesis that the role of man in the governance of God’s creation is to have control of his surroundings; however the fall of Adam broke our place of dominance. But thank God for His gift in Christ which restores us to our original position. Thus, anyone who has been called out of his homeland to reconcile to God and the benefits thereof will have to come to that realization of kingship and take his possession.

Perhaps if we think we have attained the height, then the question in our rule should be: Are we a blessing to others or should we improve on our care for others? If we are overseers of God’s creation, then our presence must be felt in the communities just as our forefathers—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and many more—demonstrated in the scriptures. However, this success story cannot be shared without mentioning the underlying responsibility, which is obedience to God.

If you want to rule and reign as a king, I can testify that the Word of God has an answer to that. Investing a few hours in reading this book can make God’s Word become alive in you and be a blessing to others.

What is man that Thou art mindful of him, and the son of man that Thou dost visit him?

For Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor. Thou hast made him to have dominion over the works of Thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet,

History made it clear that all good and bad things that took place on Earth since creation happened through man. In science, technology, religion and so on, man is the architect of his environment.

2000 years ago, only one man turned the entire universe around to date and that man was called Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Some few years ago, Adolf Hitler turned this world upside down and caused World War II. Even in our generation, from September 11 2001 onwards, because of one man, all nations on the face of the earth are living in fear (late Osama Bin Laden). This is because the earth was given to man to rule from Genesis and he is the only being that can make it good or destroy it. You have been enthroned by God through the anointing of the Holy Spirit to rule and reign on Earth. He is the one who enables the saints of God to enjoy royalty on earth.

And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth: Revelation 5:10.

Many Christians are living below the standard God has given them because royalty in its fullness is impossible without the power of the Holy Spirit. When Adam was created, God breathed Himself (the Spirit of God) into Adam’s body and he became a living soul with authority to rule and reign in the Garden of Eden. Until the oil of the Holy Spirit rests upon a man/woman, he/she cannot reign. In
