This work is not, I suppose, locutions (God speaking loudly to the heart), it is not a dictation (God dictating to the one in meditation his messages of redemption).

These are series of meditations—reading, thinking and praying.

Here in this work, the author engages as it were, the teacher of mysteries.

Reading through them, the counsels by the author make sense and can be of benefit to the reader who wishes to do the divine will.

PREFACE

W h en our Lord and Master Jesus was about to leave this mortal shore, he knew that his disciples wi ll miss him greatly, he also knew they were going to face perilous times; so he took time to give them encouraging words that will see them through the thick and the thin. He gave them the key to survival: I love you just as my Father loves me; remain in my love. If you obey my commands you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remained in His love. (John 15: 9-10)

When we fall and the perilous times befall us, a cry for help to him is inevitable, because he is the source and the end of our being. In that light; special prayer activities borne out of the desire to seek the Lord’s intervention in our lives in a special way must be undertaken. As the Psalmist said In my trouble I called to the Lord; I called to my God for help. In his temple he heard my voice; he listened to my cry for help (Psalm 18:6).

Every individual, family or community that truly believe and worship God should from time to time seek His divine intervention in their lives in a special way, so that they may receive a new lease of life and freshness. ". . . the Israelites were still groaning under their slavery and cried out for help. Their cry went up to God; who heard their groaning . . . . He saw the slavery of the Israelites and was concerned for them." (Ex. 2:23-25)

Divine graces, favours and blessings are the key elements that make us to survive and overcome in this wicked world, for the devices of the evil one are many and varied. It is only in the Lord Jesus Christ that we achieve true greatness, without
