A Biblical Guide On How To Win Your Lost Loved-Ones To Christ
()
About this ebook
Have you ever had someone say to you, "I am so concerned about my son, daughter, husband, wife, parents, or other family member, because I am not certain they are saved"? I was no different, praying constantly and consistently with many tears being shed in the process. I have been in the ministry for over forty years, studying, preparing sermons, preaching, teaching, and counseling. One night after falling asleep, praying for my lost loved ones, God woke me up in the middle of the night, directing me to a verse of Scripture in His Word, enlightening and strengthening me, giving me His peace concerning my lost loved ones. My life, and the lives of my loved ones, has been wonderfully changed.

How to Win Your Unsaved Loved Ones
Household Salvation
Dedication
This book is gratefully dedicated to my friends and Church Family (August 2016 to the time of this writing) of Abner Baptist Church Spartanburg, South Carolina. I wish to extend a most heartfelt thanks for your faithfulness to the Lord as well as to my wife Kathryn and myself during the fiery trials we were privileged to endure for Him. My prayer is simply that the Lord will continue to bless every one of you as you remain faithful in His Service.
To absent friends and prayer warriors now with the Lord:
Sister Ann Roland
Sister Shirley Hurd
Sister Brenda Sisk
Deacon Perry Smith
And to my loyal friend and mentor in the faith:
Associate Pastor Jack Sisk
Foreword
Familiarity breeds contempt
is an old cliché used often to describe that feeling one gets when not taken seriously about something they are trying to convince family, close friends, or even those with whom they work very close with on a daily basis. Sharing Christ with our family is one of those things for Christians that most always falls into this category.
While teaching in the synagogues of Nazareth, His hometown, Jesus met this type of resistance and felt similar frustrations. Just like the people we come in contact with on a daily basis, the people in the synagogues where Jesus taught, viewed Him as just one of them,
a hometown boy,
and just a carpenter’s son.
How could He possibly know more than them or have something to offer that they had not already heard? (Matthew 13:54–58).
After many years of spending time with Dr. Jim Thomas in personal conversations, long phone calls, and untold numbers of e-mails, I have come to know his heart for his family’s salvation and those whom he calls his extended family, the members of the church he is presently serving and the many other churches where God has allowed him to minister the Word. Throughout this long relationship of thirty or more years, Pastor Jim has shared many concerns with me about the conditions of the church and how we as Christians so often lose sight of Jesus’s commission to Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature
(Mark 16:15). Often we exclude that part of the world closest to us, our family.
As you read Dr. Thomas’s book, A Biblical Guide on How to Win Your Lost Loved Ones to Christ Or Proof That God Answers Prayers Concerning Household Salvation, you will be given a step-by-step approach to winning your family to
