Roy was five years old and lived with his mother and father and his little brother Christian, on the second floor of a big house.
All he ever wanted was a puppy, but his mother said that it wouldn’t be happy having to stay upstairs all the time and their little yard was so small that it wouldn’t be happy staying outside either. So Roy had to make do by playing with his brother, Christian.
Christian wasn’t too bad to play with, but he didn’t know how to pretend very well, so Roy had a hard time playing the games he wanted to play.
Roy also liked to watch television and loved to imagine that he was going on all sorts of adventures with the characters from the shows he enjoyed. He was a hero in one dream, fighting off some bad guys, or a detective in another dream, looking
