Kathryn compiled the text for the story. Her grandson Riley, who is one of the two main characters in the book, completed the illustrations.

R iley’s Mum looked out the window and said, It’s a lovely afternoon out. Why don’t we go to the beach for a while?

Okay, said Riley, but he didn’t really care whether they went to the beach or not.

The place they had moved to was okay,
