THE PRIZE
Sometimes to claim the prize a gentleman must take his eye off of the low lying fruit and look up into the tree tops past all of the scary vicious thorns at the premium fruit at the very teetering tip top. The fruit one must climb the terrifying tree to get close to. This fruit likely does not mean to be at that horrifying tip top as no one wants to be in such an unfair place; however, circumstances have placed it there and it cannot traverse to a lower branch through a wish. It’s complicated or frightening or uncomfortable – this fruit’s location and surroundings. Moreover, while no one and nothing is utterly perfect this premium fruit is a true prize while the ones on the lower branches or worse yet the ones on the ground are not equal quality. Grasping a poor quality fruit, making the mistake of purchasing it, consuming it leads to such long-term strife – misery.
The low lying fruit may be those that can be easily obtained, tasted, tested, and internally inspected without challenging or severe barriers to doing so. Thus they look better on the surface as factors akin to trying patience, an open mind, extended time, faith, a certain degree of commitment or investment and obvious or mock risk are not involved in having these – they practically throw themselves at a seeker that sends out the correct ready to buy signals. Those low lying fruit are the narcissists, gold diggers and variations of these things. While they can be purchased up front and quickly via the seeker who is adequately eager to pay; they will not provide steadfast stability, kindness, generosity, loyalty, or lasting sweetness of any kind. These low lying fruit are the very ones in it to get what they can and the gentleman who bends his knee to one of them is a fool who will soon understand what it is to lose everything that once mattered so much to him.

MONEY BEAR
A gentleman finds himself on another date and his current treasure picks out the most expensive or nearly the most expensive thing on the menu because that is what ladies who know what they’re worth do, right? If she has a high self-esteem and takes care of herself,
she will do certain things and this is just one of them – she will expect to be taken out to nice places and treated like a queen. While she is getting what she wants she is a real dear – funny, witty, smart, ambitious, goal oriented, sexy, lusciously desirable. If this gentleman wishes to propose to her he better purchase a worthy ring – one as beautiful as she is -- one that is sufficiently expensive so that he can demonstrate he understands how much she is worth by the size and clarity of the stones on that gold or platinum band.
Nearly everyone knows how to be fun when they are getting what they want. Nearly every female is able to enjoy being spoiled or taken out to the best restaurants, shows, vacations and whatnot. It’s lovely to have a Money Bear eager to spend his earnings on one’s momentary pleasures and we all adore delicious costly things, including generous gifts. However, the smart man may consider gently testing the prospect of his forever. If she will not stay when it appears the money is not all there or if she will not say, Yes
when presented with a basic ring void of glistening stones then perhaps it is not the gentleman she loves so much as what he can give her in the service and material realm. And that material realm is a slippery slope as it can come and go. In addition to this, the material realm is rather an addiction where more is always better and once accustomed to so much many will stand for nothing less than even more. This is no foundation for the future.

EVERYONE IN THEIR PLACE
Once upon a time in an existence long ago everyone, males and females had their appropriate place or gender roll and then Women’s Liberation hit bulldozing everything into smashed unrecognizable disorganized rubble. The glory of burning bras and angry marches intermingled with the chants to be equal, which in truth meant the right to be what one was not as well as what one was. The end result of course has been a bleed-out of misinterpretation, confusion and wide-spread reconstruction to the ultimately destructive. Males are no longer males and females are no longer females. Females are male and female combined and why do they need a husband when they’d rather
