About this ebook

I am Lei M. Lang, the mother of two wonderful boys, Joshua H. Lang and Jacob L. Lang, from a previous marriage. I have a daughter-in-law named Yetta Lang and four grandkids: Anaya, Raven, Jaylon, and, the youngest, Jordan Lang. I was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, to Julia and David Arnold. My mother went home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2012, and my father is still living at age eighty-two. I have been saved since a teenager and got baptized in Jesuss name at age eight and received the Holy Spirit at age seventeen. I was called to preach at age forty-two and got ordained at age forty-six. I moved from Greenville, South Carolina, to Missouri in 2000, where I joined the Christ Temple Church with Bishop Mark C. Tolbert as my pastor. While there, I attended Faith Bible Study College, getting a bachelors degree in Christian counseling. I relocated to Fredericksburg, Virginia, in 2009, where I am now a member of the Praise Temple Apostolic Church with Pastor Brown and his wife, First Lady Aquila Brown. In each day of my journey, Jesus Christ is ordering my steps, and I am walking by faith. I am also 100% soul out to God. My mission is to witness as many souls as possible, and to teach the body of Christ how to have the God kind of faith.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

I want to personally thank my youngest son, Jacob Lang, for helping me type my manuscript to get published. I owe him a world of thanks. He has stood by me through thick and thin. He is a son any parent would be proud of. I also want to thank my Pastor Clarence Brown and First Lady Aquila Brown at Praise Temple Church for praying for me each Sunday for my deliverance. It is a church filled with the Holy Spirit. With whom I will be always grateful. At last, to my oldest son Joshua and his wife, Yetta Lang for giving me a place to live.

    CHAPTER 1

We must never allow ourselves to become too busy to hear or read God’s Word. He said Mary has chosen that good part, when she wanted to sit at the feet of Jesus to hear him.

There are two things that will keep us spiritually strong: (1) love God, and (2) fear and obey his Word.

The way we treat each other is the way we treat God.

Obedience strengthens the spiritual man, and disobedience strengthens the flesh and hardens the heart.

God says, If you love me, you will do what I say.

Always forgive others that your prayers will be answered and your body be well.

Never judge another person’s actions, because only God knows the heart. For with what judgment you judge others with, you yourself will be judged by.

Keep your focus on God and obey his son. Walk in love and live peaceably with all men. Speak God’s Word, not what you feel.

    CHAPTER 2

    6-28-09 Revelation

Every man is responsible for three generations. He is to set the standard for his children, his grandchildren, and their children and a moral standard like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

He patterns marriage to be like Christ and the church. The husband’s role is to live and protect his wife and be her covering, like Christ loves the church. A man and his wife should not separate because Christ would never separate from his church. He’s holding the man responsible for how he treats his wife, and he’s holding the wife responsible for how she submits and pays reverence to her husband as the head. That is Christ’s plan, for marriages to be set up like him and his church. He thinks in terms of three. We need to seek his mind and his heart. Don’t sow seeds you don’t want to reap. Vengeance is his; he will repay. Don’t judge others because he will have to judge you. Don’t ever condemn others because you will have to reap condemnation. Before you pass your opinion on others, put yourselves in their shoes first.

Obey God’s Word, and don’t compromise his Word for the pleasure of the flesh because he shed his blood and paid a high price to redeem us. It cost him his life. Seek him and his kingdom first, not second or third, then the things you need will be added, like a car, house, job or career, or whatever you need. People are seeking things first but not the kingdom first. God is a God of order, and we need his heart and mind to live successfully in this evil world. Our very lives are not only about us. We were made for him and his purposes. We don’t belong to ourselves anymore. Don’t accept praise from man because praise was meant only for God. Meditate on God’s Word day and night.

We have entered a new season. God will soon manifest his glory to all men. Develop and walk in love with each other. God is love, and in him is no darkness at all. God wants us to bear
