My name is Alma M. Brooks, I am 60 years old and a retiree from Ford Motor company. Doing those years there it wasnt easy, but with the help of other Christians coming in my life I made it and retired with 30 years. The main thing that kept me was the fact that I prayed, studied, and stayed focus on Jesus. Doing the years Jesus became my everything, and Im proud to say, I would not have made it without Jesus. I part of my life is over with Ford Motor Company, and I will continue my walk with Jesus hoping that we walk and serve the Lord together. I hope and pray that each of you will gain from the reading of this book. It wasnt that I decided to write, it was the spirit of God came upon me , and all I was able to say was WELL, so here I am. After I started going through all the notes I was taking doing my life walk I had to put them together. I didnt really realize some of the things I had written down until the Holy Spirit made me aware of it. Now it is time for me to share it, and I give God all the praise.

I dedicate this book to my husband Raymond B. Brooks and daughter, La’Toyia M. Brooks whom I love dearly for encouraging me not to give up and prayed with me and for me. My father and mother, whom have gone to be with the Lord, aunt Betty Hampton, whom have gone to be with the Lord, there prayer was with me doing my life walk, my brother Freddie Copeland whom have gone on to be with the Lord, who was a big brother and a father to me, my brother Samuel A. Copeland who always had something positive to call or text me concerning the Lord, my sisters, Kim Seal, and Carolyn Prince, who will always be a part of my life, my friends Mrs. Elma Jones, Mr. Larry Timmons, who prayed with me faithfully everyday on our 30 minute break at Ford Motor Company, Deacon Joseph Franklin who was always there to lift my spirit, and to everyone that read it.

Anything worth having is worth working hard for, and studying the word of God is worth it.

SAME BIBLE-SEPARATING AND DIVIDING THE WORD OF GOD

We handle the word of God, which is the Holy Bible in a way of separation, in a way to fit mans way of worshiping the Lord, man even change the way it is written, but there is no changing of the word of God. The bible said, Jesus is the same today as he was yesterday, so why turn the word around when Jesus haven’t change, and if we look around in the world today, this is what’s happening, we have to face the facts. God is a forgiving God, he do not appreciate his word being changed to fit mans purpose in the world, because if man change things down here, he will be looking to do the same in heaven. Praise God, for he have given us teachers of the word, who are able to explain the word of God in other languages, yet we go back to the same bible and separate it the way we separate ourselves from the word of God. Praise God. I ask God everyday to give me insight on what I do and say, so that I can be a good fisherman for the Kingdom of God, and in order to do that, we have to focus in on life in a positive way. As believers we have to become one in "Love."

Jesus said in John 15:16-17 You did not choose me, but I choose you and appointed you to go and bring forth-fruit that will last, then the father will give you whatever you ask in His name… This is my command LOVE each other. The time we spend as races separating the word, (Bible) to fit our purpose, we can be using energy to learn to Live and Love. The word is the book that we refer to for directions, and there is no changing it, but the believers is the one that change, and consistently change the word of God to fit there purpose in life, and expect God to except it.

As I was riding alone the morning of 09-04-2002, the Holy Spirit came to me and told me to write and the only thing I could say was WELL, so here I am praising God. Proverb 3:5 Trust in the lord with all your heart; and not unto your own understanding. This verse comes directly from the word of God (THE BIBLE). Matt.4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by "Every word" that proceeded out of the mouth of God.

Reflecting back to the wrong and right issues concerning the word as believers, and the way believers separates the word of God, it is the small issues we have, concerning the word of God that’s holding us back from reaching higher goals in the spirit of the lord. We separate ourselves not only with the word, also in the church, the place we consider holy ground, the place of worship, the place in which we praise God, the place in which we give our titles, and offerings, the place in which we give thanks to him for carrying us with his grace from day to day, week to week, and year to year.

In order to be Christ Like, there are some things we need to consider changing that will make us grow stronger as Christians… . (1.) Let the word remain the word, which is the Bible, the word of God. Do not rearrange the word to fit our purpose in life. Be strong and take the word for what it is, be a good soldier and stand up for it, so when we inter into our new life with Jesus we will have no shame. (2.) Do not consider yourself to be
