Prayer a Life of Devotion 1

Mark 1:35 (NKJV) 35 Now in the morning having risen a long while before daylight; He went out and departed to a solitary place, and there He prayed.

Prayer is the basic way that we communicate or talk with God. Prayer in its simplest form is to humbly subject or submit yourself to God in respect and honor. There are many different positions that people prefer to get into before they pray. Many like to kneel on their knees when they pray. Some like to lay face down on the floor,Lying prostrate before God

Regardless to what position you choose, please keep in mind that when the President of the United States arrives, most people respect his office. In the book of Esther people were killed if they came before the King without permission or appointment. So we must keep in mind we are going before the Great God Jehovah. The Creator of Heaven and Earth! So I believe you will agree that a proper amount of respect is due!

Now as to the time of day. I suggest that you choose a time when you have little interruptions! Today we have so many distractions to covet our time. Family, friends, church, children etc. For myself
