Over the years listening to V.L. Harris relate some of her encounters with the Lord, and her telling us of conversations she and He had in private, we had always hoped she could someday share these encounters and insights with others. Little did we know she had kept a diary and would or could someday actually do just that. I have had several unannounced meetings with the Lord myself and have most of the time kept them to myself. If I talked of them, I was met with skepticism. V.L. Foreword

The desire of V.L. Harris for this work is that it will draw a multitude of Christians to the heart of the Lord Himself. We find that in the Holy Bible that He wrote. Little did she know that He would open up His thoughts and heart to her when she took the time to listen. Here you can see His faithfulness and great concern over the lives of His children…His love. He has encouragement at the top of His list! He never leaves us in our storms or in the calms of our lives. He is an ever present help, but more than that He is an ever present Friend. The comforting words He spoke and still speaks are a direct result of His heart. We just need to take the time to listen.

Preface

This work is possible by simply making the decision to give the Lord God Almighty ten minutes. You will see the journey that He took me on and through to teach me to trust Him no matter what situations look like or appear to be. The Lord proved Himself faithful every step of the way. He will speak to you if you will only take the time to listen. The things I learned from our talks were and still are making all the difference in my life. The most important changes were in my heart, mind, and spirit.

One day I was given the best advice anyone could ever hear. Our lives are so busy and full of the noise of this world. I had a very special Christian friend tell me that everyone should set aside some quiet time with the Lord Jesus to pray and focus on Him. This takes your focus off of yourself and life’s issues and turns it totally to the Lord. Even the person who told me this had no idea about what would come from it!

It was rather difficult to change morning habits getting ready for work to incorporate this new change. Those kind of things are not friendly to my flesh or my mind, but oh what a wonderful change for my life! The mornings I took the time to sit with Him were growing better every day. The peace and fulfillment from being in His presence was so incredible I hated to leave it for the daily commitments in life.

After a while there were ‘strong thoughts’ coming to my mind that were not me! I remember thinking WOW… that was awesome! Lord, was that You? I got some paper to write it down. It continued to grow ever stronger and more frequent. I could not wait to get alone in my chair with Him! His presence was something I never wanted to have to leave. The Lord continued to meet with me there. Most of the time, He was waiting for me to have a seat with Him. We started having occasional conversations! The Lord God Almighty became the best Friend I could have ever found! He had been willing all the time, but it was me who had to take the opportunity to make it happen. I am no one special, but what makes one special is written in John 15:15. Jesus calls us Friend and that makes us special to Him!

He spoke, I listened, and I wrote. All we spoke of is in this book. To think that I had the nerve to tell the Maker of Heaven and Earth that I would give Him ten minutes! You know what? He took it! It is awesome that He is no respecter of persons. If He can talk with me, He can talk with you. All you have to do is take the time. The Lord is faithful to all He says whether in His written Word or spoken word. This is truly His book! I am just the scribe with an ear to hear!

The first acknowledgement that must be made is the great awe I have for the Lord God Almighty, His Son Jesus Christ, and the incredible Holy Spirit! Without them, I would be forever lost. I praise the Lord for wooing me long before I knew Him and for never giving up on me no matter what. This is their book for they are the Authors. Praise You and thank You Lord!

The next person I must acknowledge is Carole S. who is my Sister in the Lord. The Lord God put us together at the very start of my new life in Christ nearly 34 years ago. I believe it was a Divine appointment. There was a special bond between us from that moment on. She has always been there for me. Carole is a rock that many others go to for prayer and for her deep wisdom from walking with the Lord all her life. We all say she was born a Christian! She walks in His image more than anyone I have ever known. Without her support and faithful prayers for me, only the Lord knows where I might be today. Thank you Carole!

I also must praise the Lord for all the faithful women who meet together every other week to bless Him and each other. It is God’s handiwork for I know He draws each one especially. They always fit right in like they have been coming for years and we are always in one accord. Jesus is the Guest of Honor at each meeting and we would not have it any other way! Thank you Ladies!

I must acknowledge Hal Huffman for his expertise in helping me accomplish the completion of this work for the Lord. This book is the Lord’s and without Hal’s great talent and abilities I would be struggling with some of the necessary things. I would recommend Hal Huffman to anyone. Thank you Hal!

Introduction

This book documents the difficult struggles I went through over a period of years. This was mostly after my husband lost his job of 22 years for no apparent reason. The Lord never left me on my own to understand or to just get through. Instead He drew ever closer to me as I did Him. He had a reason for the whole thing for He was the one in charge. He knows the future events and we do not. He had a better plan for our lives, but it does not always look like that to us! What you will read are several years of intimate journal entries that were spoken to me directly from the Lord God Almighty. We had conversations some of the times that I can now share with the rest of the world. You will hear and feel the heart of the Lord. He is up front and personal. This collection will cause you to realize that you also can converse with the Creator. All people have troubles come their way, but this should prove to you that the Lord is always aware and He never leaves you nor forsakes you. This is my story of faith and relationship with a daughter and her God who just so happens to be The Maker of heaven and earth!

If you normally go down a certain street and you feel today to go down another street instead, do it. Do not disregard it, but follow His leading. That is the Holy Spirit’s job and we need to let Him do it. You may never know the reason, but you can know He had a reason. Do not question Him, but just follow His lead. He will not lead you to destruction, but safety.

Trust and faith are the best attributes you can have and need to have to walk with the Lord totally. Lean not on to your own understanding for our minds and abilities are so minute compared to His omniscience. Do not even try, but just believe Him and trust Him.

You cannot lose for you are on the winning side!

2001

1-1-2001 (I had a vision from the Lord this morning. I saw a wooded area with a clearing in the center. There was a young man at one end of the clearing and I was at the other end. I started to walk toward him to tell him about Jesus. The Lord Jesus walked right beside me. I started to walk faster and so did the Lord! I started running and He then kept ahead of me. I asked the Lord why He was doing that instead of walking beside me.)

He said— No matter how fast you go to tell someone about Me, My Word goes before and pierces the hearts of those people.

1-05-2001 He said— Always be on the offensive where the enemy is concerned. He does go about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. I have given you, and every person alive, all they would ever need to be always victorious over him and all that would come against them. Continue binding him daily in all things and he has to go! Do not give place to anything he can get a foothold in such as bitterness, resentment, anger, hatred, irritability, etc. When people mistreat you or your family, give it to Me and do not keep it inside. It will fester like a boil. It will continue to grow like a cancer if left untreated or not confessed. I am always here for you, but I have also provided all the tools you need that you must use for yourself. I will never leave you or forsake you, but you must be wise in My Word. Keep reading!

1-14-2001 He said— I am leading you into spiritual warfare. Get into My Word and study your spiritual power. Instill them in your heart, mind, and spirit. I tell you the truth that Satan cannot touch one hair on your head that I do not allow. If I let him, it’s only for a reason and I am in total control of it. I love you and you love Me. I am your shelter. Run to Me and stay with Me. Nothing can by any means harm you. I am giving you boldness and discernment as you have asked Me for. You need them. I will teach you to fight the enemy, but remember what I just said about one hair on your head. Fear not! Fear is a spirit of the enemy!

1-24-2001 He said— I want you to pray unceasingly. There are many people whom I wish to heal and I need your prayers. Many of these people you do not even know. Some of them you do know. I desire your prayers. Remember, when you pray in the Spirit you pray perfectly. You are going to be a prayer warrior for Me!

1-28-2001 (I had a dream that I was driving and I hit a huge, deep pothole in the road. There were about three layers deep of bricks missing and it was as least as wide as the car was. Every time I got out to check for the great damage I thought it would have caused, there was never anything wrong. They were huge holes and I hit them very hard, but nothing ever happened. The Lord told me what the dream meant.)

He said— No matter what great obstacles you encounter in this life that would, in the natural world, cause great damage, will not touch you. They will cause no damage. These obstacles will be hit in your life. All you will say after you look at what it was is: ‘Oh my, nothing is hurt’. Just like hitting those deep potholes in your dream, there will be no damage. I am not saying this that you might hit these. I am telling you that I have already seen you in the future saying that. It is what you will do.

2-6-2001 (I asked the Lord why I had this intense desire to have quiet time alone. Is this You?)

He said— I am calling you out to be holy. I am your husband and you are My wife. A wife should not expect her husband to do all for her and her not give anything back. I desire to be intimate with you. Not in the way the world would say intimate, but extremely close in a relationship. The desire you have is not to take you away from your family, but from the world you live in. You have to live in this world, but are not to be of this world. Be ye consecrated. Be set apart! The desire you have is from Me, but do not let the enemy twist it.

3-1-2001 He said— I have a word for you tonight. I tell you that you haven’t seen anything yet! You have not seen anything of what I am going to do. Don’t look to the circumstances, but look to Me. I will take care of everything. I am the Author and Finisher of your faith. Keep your eyes on Me and I will do miracle after miracle. Things that you have prayed about for years will happen. Those seeds that you have planted and watered with your tears, I say I am going to bring the increase! The time comes for the harvest of those seeds. Be not discouraged but be uplifted because I say that you haven’t seen anything yet! Nothing of what I am going to do. Get determined in your spirit that you are going to go forth like a rushing bull. You will plow down the enemy to win souls like you have never before! I am going to put them in your pathway. Other people have planted seeds, other people have watered, and you are going to be a part of reaping the harvest. I say to be strong in the power of My might and go forth in My fullness. Reach out and touch the world through Me. Keep your eyes on Me. You shall know the Truth & He shall set you free! The enemy would come to beat you down, hinder you, and stop you. He would come to tell you to keep your mouth shut, but I say open your mouth and I will fill it! It is not by chance that you are where you are in every avenue of your life. I have placed you there. Do not try to figure it all out. Don’t question Me, but just obey the leading of My Spirit.

8-20-2001 (Lots of rough things going on in the family and I was getting upset with how people were acting. I got alone with the Lord and He started speaking to me.)

He said— II Timothy 2:4. It says: No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier. NASB

8-22-2001 He said— I love you. It is true that I love all people, but My children have a special place in My heart. I desired to pour out My Spirit on you, but you could not yet contain it. You must keep your eyes on Me. I am the Lord and you are My child. When a child takes their eyes off of their parents and runs off doing what they think would be good, they get hurt or in trouble. The good parent knows what the end result of things can be. When the child asks and looks to the good parent, they hear wisdom and experience. The child has a choice. Whatever happens, you must keep your eyes on Me. Do you need answers? Look to Me! Me alone! Do not ever reason it out within yourself. Look to Me as the good parent. Do not strike out on your own. Certainly I know how to guide you in My ways. Keep your ear tuned to Me and let nothing get between us. I am with you always. Think on My thoughts.

9-11-2001 World Trade Center

He said— Do not be afraid! Tell of Me. There will be persecution. The harvest is ripe, but it just needs to be gathered in. The work is already done such as the planting, watering, etc. Just harvest it. If the crop is left in the field it rots. When I move in you, you will feel it. I will not wear you out. Run to Me for refreshing and not for escape! You need to sacrifice things in your life. It has been your life for all these years. Now it is no longer yours, but it is Mine. It is a just demand. All I have done for you and now I demand it. Sacrifice for Me. There should be no wasting time. Run to My Word. You are no longer a reservist! I call you to active duty on the front line. There is no greater love than for a friend to lay down his life. I may never ask you to die for Me, but there is no greater love. Be as gentle as a dove but wise as a serpent. Be careful of your pearls for there are swine out there! I am separating the sheep from the goats. Do not be surprised that you are sitting next to goats on the pew you sit on. I have ministering angels for you. Be careful of your words. Let there be no tearing down words.

11-21-2001 He said— When you My people walk through trials, you can walk through with your head held high because I walk through it with you. I uphold you. You cannot fall. (I could see Him holding me up like I used to walk with my Mom by holding her under her arm.) You can walk through anything, because nothing is too hard for Me. My arm is not short. This is for anyone who is or will be going through something now or in the future. Because of you, I will not let devastation come to your family.

2002

1-6-2002 He said— I tell you that no one who comes against you shall prosper in it. No one! They will become worse off than they were before. You are to walk like nothing is wrong. Walk like nothing is any different for it will not affect you in any way. Evil will not prosper in your life. You are Mine and I protect My own!

1-29-2002 He said— What you feel is My Holy Spirit all over you. Satan cannot touch you. You are Mine! Though he yearns to touch you, he cannot. I have a divine appointment for you. You will make that appointment. You are right about your enemy trying to kill you since your conception, but I have always made a way for you. No one will take your life except Me! No one else has the power or authority to take it. You will have words of wisdom for those around you. You desire this so much because it is what I have for you. You have come so far. Your desire is now for Me more than anything else. That is what I needed from you. I needed you to put Me first before all other things and people. Your prayers will be answered. Your children are Mine. I will jerk them back by the shirt collar. You have nothing to fear. You will not fear Satan, not poverty, not hell, not loss of your family to the devil, nor any peril that could be. I will not allow it. You are a chosen one. I have several chosen ones. You will minister to your family. Your life and faith will unite them to Me. You are the anchor in the family. Without you they would be tossed about and lost at sea. I chose you. I am not a respecter of persons, but some of My children receive more than others. It is all because of their calling, faith, and willingness to be used by Me.

2-1-2002 He said— I am all over you. I am blessing your family because of you. Because you have such a great desire for Me, I cannot help but pour out blessings beyond measure. You have a great and genuine love for Me. You do your best to please Me. You search out the scriptures and long to share them with others. You will have the opportunity to do just that. People will sit in awe of what I say to them through you. Be humble. Stay humble. It is the only way I can use you. Remember that no one deserves what I give them, but it is through a humble heart. I know I can speak to people through that person and they will not try to receive any of the glory that only belongs to Me! Are you that humble?

(‘Oh Lord, only You know that.’)

3-2-2002 He said— I will fill you to overflowing. Your life has had troubles and I have always gotten you through. I will bless your life more than I have already. Your family knows what is missing in their lives. They just do not want to change anything! They would say no to Me because of rebellion, laziness, selfishness, me, me, me and not Him right now! They are comfortable and they know there will be change. That is mostly the same reason everyone else has that believes in Me. I love you and I want to bless you. I want to see you happy. I know where your joy comes from and just what makes you happy. You are making a difference in a young man’s life by turning his ‘beliefs’ by making it positive. There are more than one way to witness to people. Telling them they are wrong is not it. Show them something better. They will like what you have. Me! Joy! Peace! Blessings! Love!

4-3-2002 a.m. (I was somewhat upset by an issue in our lives.)

He said— Why do you worry? Worry is the opposite of faith. If you choose to worry, why do you call me Lord, Lord?

4-3-2002 p.m.

He said— I tell you the truth, not one hair falls from your head or the head of your husband, sons, grandchildren, brothers, nieces, or nephews that I don’t know about. Everything matters to Me. That is because I care. Every idle word matters. I love you that much. You are right in what you have been telling your husband. You are to give glory where glory is due. Your business has been prospering because it has My blessing on it. I give and I take away. Your husband knows in his heart that I am in control. He will drink of My living water and he will never thirst again. I see your tears and that is why I am doing this. It is all because of your tears. You are concerned about My ministry being evident in you. People see your love and willingness to be there for them. You show them love with hugs, making them laugh, and helping them in many ways. Not everyone has such a great ministry. That is all love flowing from you. You are living for Me and the enemy cannot stand that! Rejoice not in the fact that demons are subject to you, but rejoice that your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life!

(Lord, I’m just proud of the victory You won over Satan to give us that stand and that power.)

Always keep the right perspective. Some people get off the main track and forget the top priorities. Do not give him a foothold. ‘ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.’ KJV Do not give him a foothold!

4-4-2002 He said— No one who ever comes to Me will be disappointed. No one who comes to Me will ever hunger. No one who comes to Me will ever thirst. No one who leans on Me will ever fall. I tell you the truth; I will sustain them. I will uphold them with My right hand. I know your grief. I see your tears. Your entire family is in My hands because of you and your prayers. Satan cannot have them. I say so! Fear not for their souls for they are Mine. You are not just looking out for yourself, but also for others. If you can’t run with the horses in your own house, how are you going to run with God’s message to the wicked?

9-3-2002 (I sang and prayed ‘I want to be holy’.)

He said— You are holy. You are holy in My sight. Who can know the mind of God? No one. His mind is infinite and deep. There is a bottom to the ocean, but man does not know where it is. God knows. You don’t know how many hairs you lose in the shower let alone how many are on your head. He knows. Your footsteps are directed by Him. There is not a place you go that is not ordered by Him. Do you know what that means? It means that He is with you every step. He knows every step. If He knows every hair on your head, does He not know about all of your body?

9-12-2002 He said— You are the vessel. I will use this vessel. This vessel will be an everyday vessel unlike fine china that is fragile and only used on special occasions. You are a vessel that has been fired to be strong and tough. I am the Potter and I know how to form vessels.

9-13-2002 He said— If you think ‘Jesus loves me but..’ then you think His love is conditional and not unconditional. Jesus said if you love Me, you will obey Me. He did not say if you obey Me I will love you! What are your motives? Are you trying to be good to get something from Him?

9-14-2002 He said— My hand is moving mightily in your life. I have never stopped moving. Your family is blessed because of your servant’s heart. You are My servant, My child, and My love. You are My anointed whether you think it or not. You have My gifts inside of you. You have the gift of laughter. You are always making people laugh. You have joy that rubs off. Remember Mary said she missed your joy while you were off work? So many people have no joy. You have enough that it spills over onto them. You are very focused looking to Me. When your eyes are on Me, that puts Me first, and all the rest falls into place. Your mind, your heart, your hearing, and your sight all falls into place. Listen and I will always direct you. You have nothing to fear for your family. They are Mine too. You have nothing to fear.

9-16-2002 He said— You cannot know what is to be, but as you say to Me-‘You know the end from the beginning.’ Whatever I say is to be will be. I have plans for you as I do everyone. It depends on if they are willing to follow those plans. It is always best if My plans are followed. I have no evil for anyone, but only good. It may seem bad at the time. I know you just read about Job. I do not have that intent for you. You need not be concerned about your life. It is in My hands as are your family members lives. They are Mine and I have a plan for each of them. They are all aware of Me. I tell you that not one will perish. You do not realize how you bless Me. I desire all My children to have a humble heart and want to obey My will. You want that. Therefore you have favor. I did not say ‘favorite’. I am not partial, but you have found favor in My sight. Your heart is right and I love you.

Favor—act of approving or being approved—act of grace rather than justice—help—assist—token of love—support—manifestation of good will, graciousness, heartiness—zeal—in good grace—endorsing—to treat with tenderness—to treat carefully—to spare—to give support of confirmation—to sustain—to resemble in features—to have the aspect or look of as the child favors the father—befriend—uphold.

9-18-2002 He said— You are a success. You are My children. Do not look down at your feet with your head hung down, but look to My feet. You have to look up to see My feet. Praise Me in your trials for then it is true love. It is easy to praise Me in Heaven, but when you are in hard times it is true love. Do not let that yoke that was put on you of the world and the devil ever stay. Walk in freedom with your head held high. You are a child of the Most High God!

9-21-2002 (I was in church and finished singing ‘To Be Like Jesus.’)

He said— Do not ask it lightly, but say it if you mean it. It means death, circumcision, and burial. It is My heart’s desire to do this in you. Count the cost of what you are asking. It is My heart’s desire to do this in you!

(We are not to apply the Word of God to our life. We are to apply our life to the Word of God!)

9-27-2002 He said— My daughter, you have said to Me that you want no one to perish. That is the greatest desire in your heart. It is not only you and your family that you mean. Because you have asked this, I will pour out on you and yours blessings that you cannot contain. You have debt, but you did not ask for that to be solved. I am leading each one in My way. There is a separation coming between My people and those of the world. There will be obvious distinctions between them such as needs supplied, happiness and joy, and the list goes on. You have nothing to fear. I can bless a humble heart and that is what you have. The old man in each of you is getting weaker all the time. I will tell you when to speak a word to someone. I will tell you when to keep it to yourself. You will have My words for many people. Some will be for your knowledge and some will be for their knowledge. If I speak a word to you that someone has a spirit, that is for your knowledge to know how to deal with that situation. Never will you hear something negative about a person that would be derogatory such as gossip. That would be coming from the enemy.

9-30-2002 (Lord, shine Your light in the most vile places.)

He said— I do shine My light through My children like you. The world sees Me through children like you. My people are filled with My light and it radiates from them like a lantern. It shines forth in a smile, a hug, an ear to hear, a shoulder to cry on, a thoughtful gesture, and a word to encourage and uplift. That is how My light shines. Keep shining for Me. I am right there with you.

10-1-2002 He said— I tell you the truth that you will never be on your own for I will sustain you. Do not fear for I am with you. You are in a battle right now, but remember I am in control of it. Satan is on a chain and I hold that chain. Keep your eyes on Me and you will win. It is almost over. Do not let the devil put and keep your eyes on your circumstances. Come at him with the Word like Jesus did. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Your Father owns the cattle on a 1000 hills! Satan is a liar. He wants you, but he can’t have you. You belong to Me and I care for My own. Remember I care for My own.

10-2-2002 He said— I want you to know that I am the One who changes things. People hate change and change must occur for them to grow. They resist change, but it is for their own good. Desire change. Accept change. People like complacency. It is easier for not much effort or thinking is required. This is not what I have for My children. Change must occur!

10-5-2002 (It’s a bad time in all areas of my life right now!)

He said— You must go through this storm to open the gate. It is only for a season. I am with you in it. Think of Peter in the raging storm. I was right there all the time. Your storm is nearly over and the sun (Son) is breaking through. You will experience power like you never have before. As the sun breaks through, so does the gate open. You are already starting to realize that you are taking in what you are reading and being taught now. You will have spiritual insight. Your mind is being renewed. Your spirit is jumping. I take care of My own. During all this time, you never failed to call out to Me. You are broken and poured out. You are living the song you heard in your head about your lower nature tries to dominate. Your flesh had to lose! I know how much My children can take. I will never allow more than you can handle even though you think you cannot take any more. You felt like you would lose your mind. You could have if I did not cause limits. I was always there and you knew it. Much work is being done in you. Some call it adrenaline. I call it spiritual renewal. When you are weak, you get My strength and not your own.

10-11-2002 He said— I want My children to prosper mentally, emotionally, physically, financially, and spiritually. They are all tied together. You cannot do one without the other. If one is missing, it affects all the others. The main source of all of these is faith. Continue to look to Me. I am your source and through Me you will succeed in every area.

10-12-2002 (My Prayer— I prayed that the Lord would be so close to me holding my hand like two people in love. I want You so close Lord. As we are walking together holding hands, You would direct me like two people walking together would do. While holding a child’s hand, they start to go to the right you pull them back. They stop when they need to go and go when they need to stop. I want that kind of close walk with You. I know You are with me, but I want You to be intimately walking with me as lovers would hold hands. Hold me and comfort me. This is my prayer and desire Lord.)

He said— Satan hates you. He hates to hear you pray like this! The more you pray, the more he hates you. It is time that he hates you and everyone else anyhow. You are a major threat to him when you draw close to Me. I hear your every word. My desire is the same as yours. That desire is to be able to be so close to you and have you be sensitive to My Spirit. I will walk with you like this. Just remember in this kind of relationship, the couple need and want to be together as much as possible. They make time for each other. They are excited that they will be together. They think of the other one all during their day and night. They arrange time together. They put aside anything that would stand in their way of being together. They don’t want to waste time when they could have that time with each other instead. This is how it is when you are in love and intimate. They want to do special things for each other like gifts, notes, and special words. They sacrifice themselves for each other. They want nothing more in their relationship than to make the other one happy and in turn that makes them happy. Just like you run to your chair in the mornings to sit with Me. I am always right there waiting for you.

10-14-2002 (My prayer— Lord we see ourselves in a different way than You see us. Sometimes we see ourselves as far better than we are and sometimes we see ourselves as worthless. You do not see us either way. You see us as we really are.)

He said— There is a difference between humility and condemnation. Humility knows that without Me you are lost and helpless. Condemnation is not from Me. I only want to lift you up, but in My strength. It is not yourself in your strength and mind. High minded is haughty and must be broken to be of use.

10-19-2002 He said— When you reason with your natural mind, you get confusion and hopelessness. You need to follow the Spirit. He is not of the natural. The righteous shall live by faith. Walk in faith that I will supply and I will. What does the Word tell you that you base your faith on?

(It tells me that You never lie. You never change. You supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. You take care of Your own people. If we ask for a good thing, You will not give us a rock. You are faithful and just to forgive us.)

10-20-2002 He said— You have a consecrated heart and that is what I need to move in. I cannot work through a selfish heart. You prove to Me daily that your heart is that of a servant. You will have knowledge of people and know their problem because of My Spirit inside of you. I will not restore your full memory of what their problem is. You will have to rely on My Holy Spirit and you will not speak from your flesh. When you read My Word, it goes into your heart. That is what you need to draw from and not your head.

10-25-2002 He said— No one comes to Me unless their heart is humbled. A proud heart will not bow down.

10-28-2002 He said— Anything you give Me I will take and bless it. If you give Me your heart, life, mind, money, etc. I will bless it. I wait for people to let go and give it to Me. Give it to Me. Give them to Me. Give all to Me and I will bless it. As long as you keep it (or them) I cannot have My way fully. What do you want for that person? Do you want Me to have all of them or just a part? Give all to Me and there will be nothing to hinder My hand in any way.

11-12-2002 He said— You say to Me that I am all sufficient, yet you do not trust Me in every area of your life. You do not trust Me in financial giving. Have I ever failed you in any way? Why do you think that My Word is not true about this? You quote other scriptures relating to situations in your life, but you try to reason out the giving. I tell you that My words are true! Give and you will receive in good measure, pressed down, and shaken together. Give out of your need. Do not try to reason. You trust Me in all other areas. You need to trust Me in this one. I will not fail you. You fed Me. You clothed Me. You gave Me something to drink. What you have done to the least of these My brothers, you have done to Me.

11-18-2002 He said— Stop looking at the size of the mountain in front of you and look to the size of your God. Is there anything too hard for Me? My plan for you is to have an exceedingly abundant life in Me!

11-19-2002 He said— You have gifts that you do not even see. You have gifts that people wish they had, but they do not. You have love and you show it to all people. You have a sharp mind, high standards, uprightness, compassion, and the list goes on. You are blessed!

11-20-2002 He said— You have heard many times to give and it shall be given to you. You are giving. You are a servant to many. You give of yourself. You give a smile, a kind word, and a helping hand. Money is not the only thing that you should give and not the only thing given back to you. Love is the greatest gift to give and to receive. You care about people. That is from Me. That is not in you or anyone else. Me, me, me is what is in the old man which is the flesh. I am with you and you have no need to fear. I will rebuke the devourer for My name’s sake. No fear. I tell you the truth.

11-21-2002 He said— My child, I adore you. You truly do have a heart for Me. You have the heart of a martyr. There is no greater love than the love of one who would lay down their life for another. You are one after My heart. I surely will not let you suffer devastation. I will come to you in your time of need and supply your needs according to My riches in glory. I love you. You are Mine. You serve Me with your attitude. It is positive, encouraging, hopeful, and eternal. I will surely bless you and yours. Rest in Me and let Me fulfill your life. Let me care for you.

(I caught a glimpse of Him putting a blanket over me as I sat in the chair.)

11-22-2002 He said— You say to Me you want to see My salvation? You shall see just that. In My salvation there is freedom—freedom from burdens, guilt, sin, condemnation, fear, and bondage. When the Son sets you free, you shall be freed indeed! You will never be forsaken!

11-26-2002 (I had been thanking the Lord for the great things that He was doing in people’s lives. He was answering prayers so greatly.)

He said— Because you are thankful I will continue to bless you. Everyone you are praying for is sitting under My anointing. Whoever you claim is under your anointing. All those you are praying for are also. When you are praying for someone, you are over them spiritually. They are not left uncovered.

11-30-2002 (I have been weeping before the Lord for great needs & lost family.)

He said— I am helping you. I am causing your family to turn to Me all because of you and your prayers. You wear Me down about them in your prayers. I will show you great and mighty things. I will take care of your great needs. You need not fear. You did make mistakes, but you did ask Me first about your decisions and thought you were right. I will not leave you hanging on the edge ready to fall, but I will pick you up and you can walk on top of the mountain. The mountain will not kill you, but you shall overcome it!

12-1-2002 He said— You will never need to worry about your future for it is in My hands. If you, being a good parent, would do all you could to take care of your children and family with your limited abilities, how much more do you think I can and will do? I have NO limits! Ask and it shall be done. You are My child and no one will be allowed to harm you. I protect My own. Your family is all Mine. Every one.

12-2-2002 He said— You need to be changed just like everyone. You have gone through a lot of changes within yourself and they were all good. I am working very strongly in your behalf for your family and your situation. I tell you do not worry. Nothing can happen that I don’t allow. I will make a way out for you.

12-3-2002 He said— There are streams of living water coming from your mouth and flowing where they will. You know how water is. If it can find a little crack or hole, it will trickle in. As My words flow from your mouth, they will find a way to flow or trickle in. Nevertheless, they will go in. When you get wet, even by a drop, you feel it immediately. So is the way of My Word. Water trickling in leaves results such as a spot on the ceiling, etc. My Living Water leaves results also.

12-4-2002 He said— My Spirit rests on you. My Spirit lives in you. You are Mine. Surely I anointed you and My anointing rests on you. I free your mind of clutter and I fill that space. I am with you. I tell you the truth. I will never leave you nor forsake you. You will never be begging for bread.

12-9-2002 (Lord, I know my heartbeat and breath are in You. You can stop them at any time.)

He said— I tell you that no one can touch you unless I allow it. Nothing can happen to you unless I allow it. You have nothing to fear. Just trust in Me. I have never left the righteous forsaken or begging bread. Their needs are always met above and beyond anything they could ask or think. Think and ask what you want and then believe and expect more than that! You will not lose. When will you see that? Stop looking at your circumstances and believe for miracles. I am The God of miracles. I am in the miracle business. Why would you think I would let you fall when you ask Me for everything?

12-19-2002 (I was talking to the Lord about living in a divided house with my family not totally serving Him.)

He said— Do not say any longer that you live in a divided house. You have said that this house is the Lord’s. It is covered with My blood. It is not a divided house. Sometimes lives are lost at sea being tossed about with no direction. Sometimes they listen to My voice and follow Me and allow Me to direct them. I still love them all, but I cannot help those who will not listen and allow Me in. Sometimes there are those who not only let Me in, but desire Me so greatly they can hardly bear it. This is you. Surely I tell you, I will fulfill your heart’s desires. I have given them to you. You will do great and mighty works for Me. You are Mine and so is your whole family.

12-25-2002 He said— You say to Me that I do not use you. You are used in such a great way to shine for Me and you do not even see it! People see so much more in you than you can see yourself. What do you want to see? (I want to see spiritual gifts, anointing, and fruit.) My anointing is on you so strong, but you have been looking at circumstances lately and not to the greatness of My power and presence in your lives. You act like a victim instead of a victorious Christian. Which are you? I know what you want to be, but which are you being? Look to My promises, My presence, and My power in your life and not to the insignificant little troubles that you see. Where is your vision? You cannot be an overcomer with your eyes on the worldly things as bigger than your faith. Am I not bigger than your someone else’s moodiness? Is not My love constant? My love is constant. If you focus on My love and provision, these little things will not control you. Satan would have you controlled by these things. If you are beaten down and in despair, you are much less threatening to him. He will use this to slow you down and even stop you from growing in Me. I do allow that much so you can learn to be a victorious warrior. You an enlisted warrior in My army and soon you will be moved to the front lines. You will go in and conquer in the power of My might! You are already infiltrating Satan’s ground. He wants to take your eyes off his work and put them on yourself. Do not let him! My Spirit fills you. My anointing is upon you. My angels are with you. My love is in you. You are a blessed servant and child of Mine. You have nothing to fear. Look to Me as your source of peace, joy, and provision and not your family and circumstances. All these things come from Me if you are Mine.

12-29-2002 He said— If you could only know the blessings I have for you. If you could understand just how much I love you. I love you more than any human love you could know. If you could just catch a glimpse of My true love for you, you would never fear another thing or situation again. You need to realize who I am and what I promised you. If you can do that, you will not ever be defeated in any way. You will be victorious and praise Me in all things. I have so much for you. Come and get it from Me. (How Lord?) Seek Me in prayer, dig into My Word, and think on these things that I told you. You will be amazed what happens. There are no limits to anyone who seeks Me like that.

2003

1-2-2003 (Bad time with debt, troubles, and a lost job.)

He said— Hold on. Hold on to My Word and you will get through. I have promised joy, peace, and prosperity to My people in My Word. My children are what matters to Me. When someone loves Me enough to give Me their life and trust Me with it, I will surely not let them down. I will walk with them, talk with them, and show them the right direction. I will not let go of them. This includes your whole family. Look at your family in victory and not is despair. Rejoice in knowing what is happening!

1-3-2003 He said— I say to you that you are Mine. Nothing can come near you without Me allowing it. I tell you the truth that you will have the husband that you have always wanted. You will see a transformation that will astound you! Every part of him that is not of Me is fighting in him. With all it has, it is fighting because it knows it has to go. It’s time is short and it knows it. When the time has come, I will set him free of it. Pride has to go. Who better to take it’s wrath out on but you! Do not look at your family, but see the cause of the trouble. It hates you. It is not your family hating you.

1-12-2003 He said— You show Me to the world every day. You are a light in a dark place. You do not just twinkle once in a while, but you shine bright and you do not care who knows it. You think that you have not witnessed to each and every one at your job, but I tell you that you have. You just do not realize it.

1-13-2003 (My Pastor had preached on taking the land that was given to you as an inheritance. The people had to drive out the inhabitants. They went into the land, but they let the people stay. Lord, how do we take possession of our inheritance?)

He said— The land I have put you in to take for Me is your workplace. Your presence there is to drive the enemy out. You are the only one in that place who knows what you know. You have the spiritual wisdom and knowledge needed. Some only apply it to themselves and their family. You make a difference. I have put you in your position to drive out the enemy. My presence in you repels the enemy because they know you have the power and authority to drive them out. You drive them out by your joy, truth, My words, love, compassion, and My light. The enemy hates your witness! Speaking of Me and being like Me repels the strongest of the enemy. They cannot work in that. Not one of them can hurt you. They cannot touch you through My anointing that is on you along with My blood and My presence. Do not fear. Did I not tell you in My Word that you will hear of wars and rumors of wars and earthquakes? These are the end times. I will be coming soon. (Lord, I need Your help in turning my thinking and direction. I look to circumstances and I know that is wrong. I need to be back on the offensive with the enemy like You taught me and not the defensive. I need to be claiming and speaking Your promises and not having a defeated attitude.) That is simple to do. 1-Rebuke the enemy from your mind and thinking. 2- Speak My promises in the authority that I have given you. 3- Speak things into existence as things that are not as though they are. 4- Praise Me for all things and in all things. You will not be defeated.

1-14-2003 He said— "You have some that tell you all the things they think you do wrong, but I tell you that you please Me. I know your heart and it is for Me. You do not compromise what you know to be true. If you did, you would be a liar and the truth would not be in you. You are right in what you know or I would have revealed the error to you. You have boldness that comes from My Holy Spirit. You are sure of yourself most of the time. When you are not, you are leaning on your flesh. You are a soldier in My army. You will go in boldly and mightily like a bull and take back what is Mine and yours. You will drive
