About this ebook

This book is intended for persons that wants to know Gods way of living for their life, which he has already ordained. It is intended for stirring up the inner man.

It will also encourage a person to grow spiritually and be like a tree planted beside the river bank. It is my hope that Christians reading this book will be encouraged to bring forth the fruit of the Spirit in their life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

    Introduction

To choose is to make a selection from a number of possible alternatives; to decide on and pick out.

    I like this definition best:

    To prefer above others:

    To determine or decide:

We all make choices daily concerning our life: Sometime we prefer or choose the supermarket over the neighborhood grocery store. We chose to take the train, or fly rather than drive. In my case, I would choose to drive to wherever I wanted to travel. I am so afraid of flying! I feel like once I am bode the airplane, I no longer have control over where I going. In a car I have some control, even on the passenger side: I can yell STOP and whoever is driving will slam on the brakes. In an airplane there’s nothing I can do or say, I would just have to buckle-up and leave the flying to the pilot.

My mother and pastor love flying, they always tell me its faster and better than driving. Then they hit me with the curve ball: Jesus is my Pilot. When I hear anyone say something about Jesus, immediately my mind races with questions: Are you trusting Jesus? Are you walking with Jesus? Is He the Lord of your life? Did you talk to Him today? Are you pleasing God today? And my answer to some of these questions is no. I don’t always do what pleases God. One thing I haven’t done is died totally to the will of my desires, but I am trusting in God for total deliverance.

I have chosen to make Jesus my Lord and Saviour and He is working in me and on me, so I can proudly say I am a child of the King, in the Kingdom of God. I am so thankful to God for giving us His Son to die for all mankind. I don’t know where I would be if it had not been for the Lord on my side. God has done so me: He has deliver me out the hands of a child molester; from an abusive husband, oppression and depression even from myself. God was and is watching over me even when I am not aware. Thank you Jesus!

I know there is a lot of Christian books published, and some of them is really good. The spiritual teaching in some books are very helpful for a person Christian’s journey. I have read a lot of Christian books, some helped me and some of them confused me. So I have learned not to read and watch everything that’s put before me. Nevertheless I thank God for all the writers that have a mind to reach out to others. There are some people that will only read the life of a Christian before they come to Jesus.

Also, there are many Bibles circulating, some of them are inspired by God and some are not. So if you are hungry and thirsty for God’s righteousness, be lead by the Holy Spirit when choosing a Bible. A preach once told me, he really wanted to know more about God, but he didn’t know what books to choose to help him in his studies. So he said, he pray and ask God for help, afterward he went to the Christians Book Store, he was just looking around and the Holy Spirit guided him to the books to buy. God is so awesome! Hallelujah! I praise God for His Holy Spirit!

Many Christian wants to have a close relationship with God, but they don’t have time or take time out of their schedule to pray and wait for God to answer. This is the reason with some of us are walking according to will of the flesh. We might take the time out to pray, but we do not have time to wait on God to answer. Sometime when I am up ministering I can feel the pressure of other spirits, some of them wishing for me to hurry up so they can go home; some just want me to shut up and sit down, it is so draining to minister to people that’s late getting to church and in a rush to leave. Some People just want to be able to say, I went to church Sunday, they don’t remember the Scripture or the message. I can remember one time I was at work, I was witnessing to a co-worker about Jesus and about the good time I had at church, and she interrupted me, and said, Girl I know what you are talking about, I had a good time at church too! I said, you did, what was the message about? And she said, girl I don’t know, I shouted all over the place, girl I caught the Holy Ghost." I said, I’m glad you had a good time, I thought to myself, you don’t have to catch the Holy Spirit, just receive Him.

Infatuation is not God, or feeling good because the minister preached a good sounding message and you jumped up off the bench, neither is it God when the organ player hits a high note. It’s that sill small quite voice that speaks to you when the storms of life is rowing. I love to praise God at church, but we should praise God in our home, on our jobs,
