Dr. Jennifer Gilbert

Dr. Jennifer Gilbert is a seasoned teacher that has worked throughout the state of Texas and the surrounding areas. She has also worked overseas teaching English as a Second Language. She was born in Lawton, Oklahoma but raised worldwide by a military family but always knew that she wanted to be an educator. She is an honored high school graduate of Bradwell Institute in Hinesville, Georgia, Class of 1993. She completed the beginning of her college career with a High Honored Associates in Child Development and Business Administration and has completed her Bachelors in the same areas of expertise at Tarleton State University. She also completed her Masters in Adult Education and Training at the University of Phoenix. She has her Ph.D. in Christian Education from Northwestern Theological Seminary School and has completed all but her dissertation for her Educational Doctorates (Ed.D). She has two children and a grandson.

Each daily devotional expounds upon real life events and through some of Dr. Gilbert’s own personal experiences. She has done an excellent job in sharing her stories and giving us practical application of the word and how it relates to us in modern times. Through each page of this book, one would discover how profound the influence of the word of God is in their daily lives. This workbook explores practical application to challenges that people face on a daily basis. The inspiration of this book comes from the author’s willingness to take on topics that many Christians and Non-Christians find challenging, but unwillingly want to tackle head. For the non-Christians, this workbook would show that Christians and Non-Christians face similar changes, but the difference is how Christians use the word of God to help them to navigate through these challenges. Also, this workbook challenges the reader to think and reflect on real life situations and how they can overcome them. So many times people think they are the only one who is facing challenges, but this book shares with it readers that they are not alone in trying to navigate through life’s challenges and there is hope.
