The title of the book is Poetry on a Personal Note. It will have about one hundred poems that relate to church programs, birthdays, newborns, graduation, get-well poetry, retirees, weddings, funerals, anniversaries, family reunions, and more. These poems are written based on personal relationships with family, friends, coworkers, church family, and community colleagues. I enjoy writing all kinds of poetry, so this book will have a wide variety. I love to write poetry for others to help uplift their spirits. It relaxes me as well when I write. This is why I chose the title Poetry on a Personal Note.

Susan Taylor Brothers

Susan Taylor Brothers is a retired educator of thirty-one years of service to the Edenton-Chowan County School System in Edenton, North Carolina. She currently holds the position as Unit Director of the Boys & Girls Club/Edenton- Chowan County. She attended Elizabeth City State University and graduated in 1979 with a BS degree in English/with a minor in Speech Pathology Concentration. Being a life-long resident of Edenton she is a member of New Welch's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church; Tyner, North Carolina. Susan has one daughter; Heather Taylor, a 2014 graduate of Howard University, Washington, D.C. with a BS degree in Radio -Television-Film. Her daughter has been very instrumental in her publishing her book.
