Paula Chase Judkins [1925-1990]
SKU-000570216_TEXT_V2.pdfThese four volumes of poems are a memorial tribute to my sweet, darling mother. She [with some modifications by myself] wrote most all of these poems throughout her life of poverty, hardship and beatings from her violent husband, of drunkenness and bi—polar. As well through the wear and tear of her person that took place throughout her life, she needed to raise her twelve children by this man. Raising them all with little to nothing, and staying a faithful disciple to Christ. She did however, somehow, keep her energy focused onto the high stage of the love she had for GOD. This allowed my mother to firmly and faithfully believe that poverty on earth was a token of acceptance. That’s just the way life Is on earth. Poor of all things and poverty in love. Mother did believe as well, that her glory of all things of riches awaited her in heaven.
Mother loved GOD so much and continued to do so, even to her death bed, to give praise, glory and honor to her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, for the death that he endured on the cross just to save her soul.
These poems are a collection of poetry written throughout her adult years from 1943, when she meet the love of her life, my dad, Dana Judkins sr. and throughout her sixteen consecutive years of pregnancy by him,{1943-1959},carrying her one dozen children and throughout the years of pain and torture by my dad, through to the year of 1990, when she went home to her Lord, your creator, our GOD.
This collection of poems will deliver to you events that occurred through out her life and will reflect to so many similar events that we all face in life ourselves, even today. The four volumes will reflect in Volume one, LOVE [which she had for everybody and all things in life.] Volume two, carries reflections of INSPIRATION [to give cheer to the drama we
