About this ebook

Here at Remington, many people are curious about this powerful book commonly known as “Inspiring the Youth of America.” Well, as you may know, our youth today in America are in dire need of mentorship and guidance. This book is a whole new step forward for all of us as a civilization.
For many years, and even today, young Americans wander aimlessly in a pool of confusion. They end up in meaningless careers with no past, no future, and nothing to hope for. Undoubtedly, the end result is misery and despair. The end result is poverty and surely a feeling of emptiness. Well, we at Remington, after interviewing over thirty thousand professionals, were shockingly surprised to find that many successful professionals were disgusted with vanity publications. They were disappointed with the meaningless dribble of a phone book–type registry that possibly required a magnifying glass just to read. But surprisingly enough, these professionals encouraged any use of their biography for humanitarian purposes. Undoubtedly, mentorship for our youth fell into that category. So there it was born.
Our proudest moment as publishers was laid out before us. But there was one big problem. All these people needed to be interviewed in depth, and generic biographies certainly would not inspire. So with that, we swallowed hard, and our staff got to work. Yes, it was and still is a grueling, time-consuming mission and undertaking. But in the end, as you may witness as you read this book, the content is quite spectacular and certainly worth the effort. We would also like to mention that the participants in this book also spent much time sending us information and encouraging us to make this book worthy of their efforts. Now it was up to us to uphold the dignity of these professionals and forge forward into a future where a student can explore his or her life with the ability to fulfill their own potentials.
With that, this book is presented to you today, and we hope that you share in our dream to build a better America from where it really matters—our youth.

J. Alex Ficarra

Undoubtedly, growing up during the Vietnam War, Watergate, and gas shortages can have a profound effect on a child. Also being the son of immigrant parents most certainly can lead to a traumatizing clash of cultures and the understanding of right and wrong. With that being said, the Remington Company gave me the honor of a lifetime by letting me express my thoughts in unison with telling the brilliant stories of professionals around the world. As I wrote endlessly twenty-four hours a day, I realized that our world is full of hope and real promise. I realized that it wasn’t about war, ideology, and the pursuit of global domination; I realized that, in the pages of this great book, great things were about to happen, if only these stories could be made public. I realized that I had the opportunity of a lifetime by expressing the humanitarian attributes that these professionals continually made. After many years of writing, I realized that the Remington Company had a distinct and noble purpose. Perhaps if we could not change the present, we could certainly try to change our future. With that, we created our mentorship program, which gets these prolific stories out to the children. We wrote the stories with zest but never crossed the line of respect or dignity. We wished to capture the hearts of our audience and prove to them that giving was not an option but more so our duty as life forms on our planet. Today our book has a theme, “Inspiring the Youth of America.” This theme was our way of telling the world, “Let’s hold hands and prepare our children for a better life.” Today I continue to write for the registry. My life has irrevocably changed for the better. I volunteer for anything all the time. I enjoy moments of quiet and the appreciation of our environment. I read these biographies in amazement as everyone else does, and it never seems to get uneventful. Either way, I sincerely hope you enjoy these biographies and use them to strengthen your spirit and confidence about our existence as a species on this planet. I patiently wait for divine intervention in order to write my next biography and am happy to serve the brilliant members of the Remington Registry of Outstanding Professionals. —J. Bio:

Here at Remington, what started as a simple concept of networking and career recognition, exploded into a profound way of life and a mentorship program that will guide the youth of America, for perhaps hundreds of years. What started as a gathering of brilliance in every field and industry, led to a whirlwind of contribution to humanity, culture, and technology, and in this case, most importantly heart. We at Remington, after writing 60,000 biographies, have learned a great deal about wealth, skill, and creative thinking. One quality of life, Heart, we feel is untaught and certainly not part of any workbook or academic lesson. No one carries this quality better than Internationally Respected competitive swimmer and CEO, Ann Louise Onton. Yes, heart is not listed on any cold resume we know of. Not part of a 40 minute class attached to three college credits. Not recommended as a method of calculating a difficult mathematical equation. It is however, the most important tool in life, in which Ann Louise carries with her across vast distances of aquatic adventure in abundance. It’s simple, Ann Louise loves a challenge. From her earliest days, Ann Louise was not dipping her toes in the water. She took God’s gift and built a swimming legacy that spans several decades. Ann has hundreds of awards, and has participated in hundreds of swimming events. From Manhattan Island to the English Channel, this powerhouse of human strength, is the model of mentorship that we at Remington cling to when inspiring others. Ann sets the example in our society that life is truly an adventure, and that the couch is only a place for potatoes. Today, as a senior nothing changed. Ann ventures out into the depths, and perhaps unknowingly, has changed the lives of thousands of people with every stroke. Here at Remington, it’s important to know that we are very much aware of the violence our children have exhibited the last few years. For us the answer starts with a courageous professional, who put her heart into everything she did. Maybe it starts with not a lesson in ethics or academics, but more so a lesson in pursuing a dream or a hobby or a goal. Today, Ann Louise Onton offers us all of this in one priceless breath. She offers us a way of life. She offers us the meaning of life. She offers us a benevolent 21st century, where Mother Nature combines with human integrity and divine inspiration. With that, we at Remington proudly present our finest participant. One that will guide our children, and speaking as parents, we really don’t see anything more important. We offer Ann Louise our highest honor, and we welcome her inclusion.

Bio: Here at Remington welcome to the home of mentorship in America. Welcome to the home of humanitarian heroes and game changers. Welcome to the home of visionaries and professionals bold enough to think that they can improve the world we live on. Welcome to the home of obsession where professionals drive forward with fierce conviction in order to bring dreams and new ideas to reality. Welcome to the home of professionals like Donald E Husby. No, this is not a twilight zone episode. Yes, Donald’s resume is straight out of science fiction but happens to be absolutely true. Donald, an expert in the science of lighting, broke through every obstacle in a 40 year trek of improving on Thomas Edison’s designs. Donald, with over 20 patents, walked this earth with a profound purpose to bring optic technology into the 21st century. Truthfully, we at Remington are overwhelmed at the very least. We are mystified at the accomplishments of this Wernher Von Braun of Lighting. Donald, simply put, has seen and done it all. From roadways to baseball stadiums. From military projects to railway improvements. It’s a shocking list of accomplishments that went straight through the pentagon and undoubtedly to the steps of the white house. Donald, in his twenties was already assigned to important projects. He was working in conjunction with Westinghouse and actually invented the modern uses of vacuum tubing optic lighting. Donald was called upon by NASA to improve night launch lighting and provided the optics involved with the first mile of the launch. Donald worked hand in hand with the Dept. of Commerce and diligently made improvements for hospitals, schools and various fortune five hundred companies. Donald, a World War 2 naval veteran, backed by his beautiful wife Bev of over 65 years, traveled from one coast to another making major breakthrough in optical science and spectrum analysis. From the Panama Canal to the simplest medical device, Donald was there to improve it all. Undoubtedly a man with unconventional ideas, Donald used ground breaking technologies in various gases and temperatures for extreme environments. He lead a team of scientists in seminars and lectures in order to collaborate with scientists around the world to help poverty stricken nations and to improve on their basic social structure. Donald was not just an employee. He designed the very laboratories that created new technologies. Mr. Husby was gracious enough to give us some of his patent information, including shocking detail and diagrams of sophisticated materials and various chemistry. Millimeter by millimeter he brilliantly mastered configurations dating back to the late 50’s, in a time when Howdy Doody was the most sophisticated program on television. Perhaps decades or centuries ahead of his time, Donald enjoyed a life of ingenious adventure mixing the sciences of a world brimming with new ideas and new concepts. Donald gave us an enormous list of dates, times, awards and affiliations making us believe that his career is undocumentable and absolutely incalculable. Today we too at Remington are fiercely driven. After so many years of recognizing professionals such as Mr. Husby, it has become apparent that we too need to uphold the dignity of professionals like Donald. Undoubtedly he can shed light In a world where children and young adults wander aimlessly through society and end up with drugs and dead end jobs. We at Remington built a monumental book where professionals like Donald can proudly voice their achievements and their incredible journey. Donald has done so much more than light our roadways. He enlightened our path to happiness and a joyous life of career opportunity. For that we at Remington would simply like to say thank you for demonstrating what life can and should be and we welcome him to our hall of brilliance located at the home of the Remington family. Today we respectfully offer Mr. Donald E. Husby our highest honor and welcome his inclusion.

    Bio:

Here at Remington as Americans every breath we take is built on our beliefs and constitutional rights as citizens. We are all children of democracy, and as we pursue our dreams, enjoy our liberties, we become naturally defensive when we feel our freedoms are being compromised. Here at Remington we have learned that many Americans never take their freedom for granted. We have learned that true success is not about wealth, but about integrity and fighting for what you believe in. We also feel that true democracy is based on transparent government and undoubtedly without the vigilant effort of certain professionals that transparency can be easily exploited. Today, we stand strong against the wind and not unlike the American eagle we hope to recognize a professional who stands on a mountain top and watches over what our forefathers died to give us. In every way and without hesitation we recognize Christopher Michael Vichiola as that eagle that soars fearlessly through the sky and with relentless tenacity spearheads any threat to our way of life. Chris gives new meaning to the word, proactive. Being passive is simply not part of his nature. Chris is not a revolutionary; he is a loyal and patriotic individual that despises political hypocrisy. His focus starts with children and people with mental health issues. Chris is an expert on Constitutional Law. He is an advisor to Barack Obama on a host of issues, a list far too long to record, but we will certainly make an attempt. Chris is a spiritual man with a soft side for human rights. He speaks out for the oppressed and is an advocate for anyone with just cause that feels exploited or neglected. Today, Mr. Vichiola is much like a walking encyclopedia; he can turn back the pages 50 to 100 years ago and give exact details about a moment in history where a crime was committed or a scandal. From environmental issues, to bureaucracy, to international affairs, Chris is not one to quickly run to a history book. He prides himself in having facts and dates memorized. From Watergate, to BP oil spills, to Iran Contra, Exxon Valdez, to unjustified presidential pardons; Chris can quote verses and specifics. Mr. Vichiola is also an expert in Finance and Financial Safety and fraud. He spends an incredible amount to time looking at all the possibilities of national health care. Chris is also best known to give exact financial and census facts no matter how ugly the number may be. He is a regular on the steps of Congress and Marches for causes nationwide. But nothing infuriates Mr Vichiola more than a large Corporate Conglomerate that abuses their employees, citizens or not. Chris is a one man union representative with powerful connections and deep consciousness to not let things slide by. As a martial arts expert, educator, and Psychological Counselor, Chris lives by a certain truth not only to others but to himself. He encourages every American to live by the same standard. Chris most of all expects a certain level of ethics, from Government Officials. He is a member of dozens of watch dog affiliations such as the Whistleblowers of America. No, Mr. Vichiola does not wear a cape, but he rightfully should. Here at Remington, Mr. Vichiola certainly raised the bar when it comes to outstanding professionals. In all truthfulness, perhaps a bar higher than anyone can reach. But, maybe in the end that’s what all of us as Americans really need, a jolt in our complacency. Chris lives by the motto Ask Not and we admire his tenacity. We here at Remington would like to mention this one biography used much of our time and resources as a company, but in many ways it was certainly our privileged and our obligation. We come to realize that Mr. Vichiola is a man of fierce conviction. Perhaps, someone like his comes around once in every thousand years or so, and we are very happy he is with us in the here and now as we welcome his inclusion. This 2015 year has been no different for Mr. Vichiola. He has been asked to be involved by the President in the Iran Deal, has participated in legislations to protect women’s rights, was involved in many other political programs like the one he will be attending later this year in which he was asked by Al Gore to participate in the Climate Reality Program which is a non-profit organization involved in education and advocacy related to climate change. Mr. Vichiola prides himself in putting his life on the line to help people and to protect the environment he is so fond of and we here at Remington continue to admire Mr. Vichiola and all his endeavors.

    Bio:

Here at Remington after 60,000 biographies written to date, perhaps our strongest message to the youth of America and other professional is not where to pursue a rewarding career but how. After so much time and effort perhaps it’s not what you do but more so how far you are willing to go to achieve it. Maybe in the end it seems our real message to others is that life must be fully lived and all the rewards in life are only the aftermath of a diligent effort to make every moment count. With that being said today we offer a true example of a professional who enlightened every darkened corner of life and filled every heart with a joyous occasion of symphonic and majestic beauty, internationally respected Music Director, Educator Elizabeth Grieger Wiegand. Elizabeth has certainly struck every note when it comes to a fully lived life. Touring Europe Elizabeth plays several instruments. She works with children around the world and today inspires thousands as she travels to churches around our nation as an organist. Elizabeth has been featured in multiple books and media. She has worked on recordings as well as being highly recognized as a composer. Elizabeth has been awarded on multiple levels of government and corporate America. From George Bush to Lee Iacocca, Elizabeth made her way to the hearts of millions. Elizabeth speaks out on many levels of environmental protection. She works to raise money for various charities and most notable received recognition for her work with cystic fibrosis. As educator of the year Elizabeth made mentorship a big part of her life with over 8,000 volunteer hours at Franciscan Health St. Anthony Michigan City. Undoubtedly her community has been foremost on her mind. In the end we at Remington certainly are overwhelmed at the very least of this dynamo of humanitarian contribution. We truly admit that our brief description of this whirlwind life of song, travel and genuine human compassion towards others falls far short of the total package. But as we said perhaps Elizabeth offers much more than an incredible list of credentials and achievement. Maybe she represents the ultimate message of commitment and dedication. Maybe it’s not what she does but how she does it. Elizabeth most certainly does everything 110%. She goes all out all the time in everything she does. As far as we are concerned here at Remington, Elizabeth has offered all of us a priceless message that we should carry with our journey throughout life every day. We offer her our highest honor, we thank her for her participation and we welcome her inclusion.

Here at Remington as we publish our latest book commonly known as Inspiring the Youth of America. It is important to know that the professionals who witnessed World War II hold a unique presence among us as a species and a society. These professionals undoubtedly view life much differently than many of us and we can only imagine the fear they might have experienced in a time when global domination was a very real threat. It’s important to know that each passing day these professionals become more and more rare and unfortunately their experience and precious advice also disappears forever. With that being said as the youth of America read this book we can only hope that these lessons of life get carried on in the pages of this incredible Book of Humanitarians. We can only hope that the professionals in this book have the vision to realize how important this book really is. We can only hope that before any world leader commits to deploying forces he fully understands the price. Well on that note today we proudly recognize a professional who certainly knows the price of war perhaps all too well, a professional who lived a world at war with the clash of ideologies with only Human flesh that stood in between. Here at Remington today we proudly introduce Dr. Arthur W. Buswell. We at Remington undoubtedly will never glorify war, but we do glorify the advice that a professional like Arthur can offer. We glorify the mentorship and the courage. We glorify the right to defend our Constitution and we glorify the military professionals who are well aware that certain wounds don’t heal. Dr. Buswell has given the youth of America a resume that perhaps is unequaled. A resume that seems more like a science fiction that fact. From the jungles of Vietnam, Arthur has traveled the world. He has witnessed the reality of dictatorships, Cold War, nuclear annihilation, biological warfare, political scandal. He witnessed and pioneered medical advancements that came at the price of millions of lives. Dr. Buswell sprung from the pride of the United States Army accompanied the 1st Armored Division. Arthur held a unique perspective in health care. He had that 1-2 punch of military combat experience along with the practical experience of being chief of staff in surgery at local Hospitals. His resume reads as almost 2 or more people with distinction in his community and abroad. It has become very clear to us here at Remington that Arthur offers a priceless view of the pain of human evolution. He offers us a priceless view of why war should never be an option. Dr. Buswell strengthened our faith in humanity and strengthened our will to have the patience to seek out diplomacy before destruction. Today we proudly acknowledge that this short essay certainly does not come close describing the journey this one professional has traveled. But we do agree that the message Arthur offers all of us is what really matters. We agree that in the end if Arthur’s life has meaning then that meaning comes through in the fight for world peace. On that note today we officially and respectfully offer Dr. Arthur W. Buswell our Liberty Award and as always we welcome his inclusion.

Here at Remington as we publish our latest book commonly known as, Inspiring the youth of America, we are all in agreement that nothing can replace experience and or intuition. We are all under agreement that after 10,000 phone interviews and millions of dollars spent that life is way too short and the precious nature of knowledge is wasted far too often. It has become painfully apparent that far too many great professionals leave us far too early and unfortunately there wisdom follows them close behind. With that being said we hope that our biographies certainly do not fall upon deaf ears. We hope that our participants realize that vanity has no place in this great book and it is up to all of us to extend ourselves to help others. It’s up to every member in this book to realize that this fleeting moment needs to be documented and categorized. It’s up to each professional to understand that our future hangs in the balance of our leadership our compassion and our ability to inspire a whole new generation of thinkers. With that said, today at Remington may be our finest moment in the procurement of American mentorship. Today might be our finest moment in art culture and American history. Today might be our finest moment in literature and intellectual achievement. With that we present a living legacy, perhaps a Christmas gift with a holiday extravaganza that brings theatre and media together in one bold biography of modern entertainment and a thirst for creativity. Today we recognize an actor, artist, writer and a host of other titles, Mr. Austin Hay. After thousands of biographies published over so many years no one represents culture and the brilliance of New York City better than Austin. Austin’s resume not only documents his incredible journey but the modern journey of the arts over the last century. Appearing almost everywhere, from the Southampton New York Parrish Art Museum to the Smithsonian, to Lincoln Center. What can we say to explain the distance travelled in between? Austin’s life for all of us is a must read for any student anywhere. His life symbolizes the growth and the evolution between Broadway and cinema. Austin paved the way perhaps unknowingly for all of us to seek out theatre and to encourage our creativity and cultural awareness. In the end as we said here at Remington we are humbled by a biography undoubtedly to vast to document. A biography that needs to be dissected in chronological order, along with the events of a century and the professionals who had the
